Variety: Great food, great service, exquisite atmosphere...what more could you ask for. I went to Kimberly Ann's Tearoom in July of 2009 I enjoyed their high tea I believe to be called their classic tea. My friends and I enjoyed their loose leaf tea of a vanilla and a chai spice. This was a high quality of tea because no doctoring was needed...what a taste of perfction. Then we were served on a gorgeous tier their decadent cranberry scone, an assortment of fresh cut perfectly ripened fruit with organic sugar sprinkled on top, as well as the best chicken salad sandwches I have ever had, tuna, egg salad and cucumber cream sandwiches. As if that was not enough they gave us homemade pastries, such as small cheesecake, double fudge brownies, homemade white chocklate, lemon bars, and a pizzel ( none of those store bought freezer type stuff I have been served in other tearooms). So much food a take out was needed FOR A TEA!!! I had a nice evening snack. |

Variety: I made reservations for a mother's day brunch. After reading some reviews on the web, I was somewhat nervous. But, let me tell you, it was wonderful. It's a quaint little victorian meets down home style tea room. There are so many little trinkets, most of which you can purchase. Our waitress was wonderful and timely. The tea was a loose leaf apricot peach, very good. The brought us a 3 tier platter, nicely presented. It had two white chocolate almond scones that were to die for. Best scone I have ever had. They brought us devenshire cream, lemon curd, and apple spread for the scones. The lemon curd was delicious! Then we had fresh fruit and some pastries. Then there were finger sandwiches. The tuna was the best, very nicely done. Overall it was a quiet, delightful experience. It's a great place for 'the girls' whether it's mom and daughter or friends. |

Variety: i believe the homeness of this tearoom is not missed by the snobby individuals because the would be missing a delightful date. mae and her staff are quite a joy and would quickly tell all of the wonderful treats she serves. also her secret scone mix is to die for, much better than what you would find in England. |

Variety: I just finished reading the posted reviews and unless this place has undergone a major makeover, people have very low expectations for a good tea. Tea was choosing a tea bag, sandwiches were all served on the same type of bread. I can't even remember the desert. I just wanted to escape from there. |

Variety: To Pam you were at another tea room not this one because they do NOT serve every sandwich on cinnamon bread. They also don't use tea bags with their High Tea. And the servers all have their food handlers license and are very professional. You obviously went somewhere else. |

Variety: Extremely disappointed in our experience. Tea preparation was 'pick a tea bag' from the contaner on the table and then a pot of hot water brought to the table. EVERY tea sandwich was served on the same raisin-cinnamon bread. Ugh! Egg salad, tuna, just don't make it on this bread. Server had dirty nails and did not hold the tea cup by the handle but by the cup itself. 18% gratuity was added on to an already overpriced tea. Major disappointment! |

Variety: I think you get good value for your money here. We just stopped in for a cup of tea and a scone. It is extremely casual and a grandmother's house type atmosphere, but the staff is friendly. The scone was excellent, served with lemon curd. All very reasonably priced. If you are shopping in Glendale and need a snack, |
