Variety: I've been to Lady Bedford's twice now - it was such a treat!! The tea was excelent, the food was outstanding and the service was fun. It's, at the same time, cozy, elegant and fun - our server was a doll and made us feel right at home. I went once with my husband and once with my adult son - they were not too sure about having 'high tea' - but they were made to feel comfortable and important - they both loved it as did I. Can't wait to have tea at Lady Bedfords again! |

Variety: Celebrating our 15th year Engagement Anniversary at Lady Bedford's brought us a lot of good memories during our 9 years in England. The quality of sevice and the artistry are superb, worth comparing to our experience at The Savoy's . |

Variety: Second time back at Lady Bedfords. Atmosphere is wonderfully charming, food was great, and of course the tea too! A large selection of loose tea, served in style. Service was excellent as well. On my next visit to NC, I'll make it a point to return to Lady Bedfords! |

Superb service, including a bell on the table to summon a server. A fresh orchid on each luncheon plate. Delicate china. A pretty light-filled room. |

Variety: I treated my wife to lunch here while we were out shopping. She and I enjoyed the tea, food and service. The table next to us were three women with three children who were delightful company. By noon all the tables we could see were filled but there were more tables in a back room that we could not see, just patrons and servers going in and out. We will be back in 2011! |

Variety: A tea parlor of the kind thst is becoming rare in the UK. No tea bag and a metal pot of hot water at Lady Bedford. Instead, an amazing variety of teas, excellent service, light meals of superb quality, and a lovely atmosphere in a charming house. Not to be missed! |

After spending a leisurely lunch, we spend the next 1/2 hour in the shop purchasing unique Christmas gifts (and a few things for ourselves!). Thank you Marian, the Chef and the twins! Variety: My husband and I recently had a late lunch at Lady Bedford's Tea Parlour and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. We had been to the Tea Parlour once before to buy tea, but had never eaten there. My husband had the split pea soup and said it was really great. I ordered the Tea Sampler and was really pleased with the variety. The meal was very filling and really good. We are already planning our next trip there with my sister and her husband! |

Lady Bedford's Tea Parlour provided a wonderful experience for my sisters, niece, and me during our visit to Pinehurst. The variety of teas is incredible; the food, delicious (especially the quiche and scones); the service, exceptional. It took us a while to realize that Ann and Joan were twins, not just one amazingly efficient server !! The lovely table settings and decor enhanced our experience. |

Variety:
9 family members from across the Piedmont met for my daughter's brunch baby shower. We each chose our own tea from a sizable menu with our own pot in a cozy, and our questions were expertly answered. The reasonably priced scone, quiche, and fresh fruit were delicious and the Victorian decor was beautiful. They simplified my blind sister-in-law's place setting.Strolling in the Village afterwards is a must-do. We WILL return! |

Variety: What a wonderful place! My mom and I had such a lovely time and the staff couldn't be nicer. Variety: My Mom & I went to celebrate the Royal Wedding on 4/29/11. Our first visit, but not the last. The Duke (chicken salad with a scone) was delicious. We had the special Royal Wedding dessert (sparkling grape juice & a cupcake) that was fantastic. They even provided tiaras to make the occasion more fun. Maryann, the owner, took our picture & we told her that her parlor compared very well with tea we had in England. Ann & her twin, Joan, were great & went out of the way to treat us royally. They have an excellent hot chocolate & coffee as well. We will be back! |

Variety: Traveled from Orlando to visit friends and deciede to visit Lady Bedford's Tea Parlour & Gift Shoppe with my best guy friend today. What an absolutely awesome time! The smoked turkey with cream cheese and strawberry preserves wowed my friends taste buds (The Anna Marie). He also had the The Beford Waldorf and we both enjoyed the candied nut basket :). The tuna sandwich (The Stanhope) which I had was fresh and delicious! I most enjoyed the service provided. My friend fell in love with Ms. Joan who is a twin with Ms. Ann. I was fooled a few times until I figured who was who. I was fooled because the service and kindness was consistent. Maryann, God bless you for being willing to 'PAY IT FORWARD' I can't wait to chat with you more and eventually have you ladies down to visit in Orlando when ... (more) |
