Variety: My favorite place ever!!!! Great food, nice food variety, friendly service and a huge variety of teas. Cinnamon orange spice tea is my favorite! Wish I lived closer so I could go every week, but I make the one hour drive at least once a month. Love the gift shop too. I buy all of my jewelry there now! Unique shopping that is very reasonable. Got all my work friends bracelets for Christmas and they loved them. If you have not been to LaTeaDa it is a must do! |

Variety:
Several friends and I were treated to a marvelous afternoon at LaTeaDa on 12/17/11! From the second we walked in the front door and were greeted by a friendly smiling hostess until we walked back out that door, EVERYONE who waited on us treated us like queens! I'm not a tea drinker, yet the 3 glasses of their house specialty were the best I've ever had and my meal was delicious!! The server was awesome, the owner even stopped by and sat at our table and visited with us for several minutes after we ate, the woman in the gift shop was very sweet, other staff we saw ALL made us feel like they were there to treat us to a delightful day! The gift shop is one-of-a-kind that you truly will not see anywhere else. Will definitely take a bigger group back next time! |

Variety: Wonderful experience at the tearoom. Everyone was very friendly, the food was great (we tried a large variety of the desserts--all were delicious, especially the special bread pudding), and the tearoom was beautiful. They have done a great job restoring the house. The giftshop had beautiful Christmas wares. |

Variety: Just came from having lunch. We were greeted at the door with a warm welcome, escorted to our table where the service was excellent. Had the warm plate special, which was very tasty. Will be back often. |

Variety: Events at La Tea Da Tea Room in Clinton, Il are out of site. The Holiday Witches Tea was excellent. The food was tastefull and presented in the Holloween spirit. Decoration started from the outside and followed you all the way into the dinning room. Assortments of costumes were worn by the customers, poems, and games were all related to the festive Halloween fun. Staff was of the utmost professional and we never lack for any wants. The evening was full of electric fun and the food was fantastic and refeshing. |

Variety: Discovering LaTeaDa was one of the best things about moving to Clinton a few years ago. They have delicious food and tea and pair it with a great friendly atmosphere. The tea room itself is a beautifully decorated Victorian mansion. After you're nice and full of yummy foods, be sure to check out the lovely gift shop upstairs. I highly recommend buying the cookbook, if you like to cook, because a lot of the recipes they serve at the tea room are in it. |

Variety: I went to LaTeaDa on a tour bus with a large group last week. What a wonderful place! They are closed to the public on Mondays so we had the whole place to ourselves. They brought us all out a lunch with half a sandwich, soup and a delicious spaghetti pasta salad, then we all got a dessert plate with 3 different mini desserts. What a great variety of food. My friend and I decided we will HAVE to go back on our own to see what is on their regular menu. After lunch we watched a program by the Tea Ladies about aprons. Very entertaining and fun. All of the ladies that were involved were wonderful. I had to buy a cookbook so I could make the lemon cake they served us that day. I would recommend this tea room to everyone. I want to bring my daughter there this summer when she comes to visit...so... (more) |

Variety: This place is the best kept secret in Illinois!!! A friend took me and now I can not wait to go back! I have been to the Pickwick Society Tearoom, and it was ok, but the LaTea Da Tea Room is superior! The day we went they had Tomato Florentine soup that was fabulous, and I tried their chicken salad croissant that my friend had suggested and it was the best I have ever eaten! For dessert my friend had chocolate fudge pie and I had Lemon torte cake-both were delicious. I am so glad my friend introduced me to this tea room. I can't wait to take my mom when she visits from Wisconsin. |

Variety: By far my favorite tea room!! It has that fancy Victorian feel without feeling stuffy, and the staff makes you feel right at home. The hot tea selection is wonderful, although I usually end up ordering the famous iced 'lateada tea'. I love their chicken salad croissant and sometimes they have a cucumber pasta salad that is out of this world!!! I normally do not have room for dessert, but have tried their bread pudding and coconut cream pie and loved them both. My aunt took me to a Chocolate Tea they had last year and they made funnel cake french fries with a chocolate dipping sauce (YUM!) The best part is the gift shop. Last summer I bought a great pair of sandals and have many jewelry items from there also. There is no place like LaTeaDa! |
