I've spent many an afternoon at Liquid Planet. These folks have a wide variety of their own teas, including my favorite, Breakfast in Beijing. They make assorted pastries and even sandwiches to eat. I love that they have decent WiFi and enough tables to sit at to work.

As the name suggests, they offer more than tea. They also sell coffee, cold Frappucino-like beverages, and other hot and cold drinks. Plus you can buy wine, mead, coffee, tea, handcrafted sodas, and other cool things there.

No tea bags here! You pick your tea from the bulk selection and they brew it properly. Bulk selection is wonderful and includes black teas (traditional and flavored) and herbals, including some particularly fine rooibos. Modern atmosphere, with walls that were carefully matched to the color of good coffee. Crepes can be quite good depending on who is in the kitchen; other baked goods are on the mediocre side compared with what is available at Missoula's many bakeries. A little noisy at times, and not the tranquil afternoon tea spot, but a great place to get an excellent cup of tea, particularly in the evening.

I have been a regular at Liquid Planet for years, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to take an afternoon or evening tea in Missoula. The shop also sells coffee, soft drinks, beer and wine. As well as any accessories that you may need from tea pots, to yerba mate gourds.

I stop at Liquid Planet every time im in Missoula, and other than there exellent tea selection the atmophere is the main reason. There always seems to be friendly people and a good vibe. And unlike some other coffee shops that sell tea, you can tell that they know and care about tea there tea section. I would highly recomend checking it out!

They have a fantastic tea selection here, but the service and atmosphere ruin the place. It's one thing to have fine, expensive teas, but what's the point if the management and employees know nothing about serving tea? None of the very simple techniques of brewing tea are employed at Liquid Planet. Also, even though they have as many as eight people behind a single counter, customers have to wait a long time.
