I love coming to Lisa's tea Treasures, the place is decorated so beautifully, and tea is served quietly & they don't rush you here. I come here when I need to relax, it works wonders! I highly recommend this tea place, it's one of the nicest ones in the Bay Area. I also second the request for fresh fruit-I would love to see a 'healthy' version of afternoon tea, with a smaller scone, some fresh veggies & fresh fruit.

This tearoom is owned by the same owner as Pruneyard location and every bit as wonderful. It's right across from the train so you can make an event of a train ride and luncheon here. I have taken my family several times and we all love it. The food is great and service wonderful plus the decor is so so beautiful.

I come here often and love it! I only wish that they would include some fresh fruits in their afternoon tea menus!

Thank you for your message. We will look into the feasibility of adding fruit in season to our menu.

I try to get to Lisa's about 1 a week or so, it's one of my favorite ways to relax and have some leisurely time to myself. The tearoom is decorated very nicely, in cheerful yellows and it's very elegant. Even the bathrooms are nicely done. They have a more elaborate menu than most tea rooms, offering a variety of full service teas to choose from, some with all sandwiches, others with sandwiches and salads, and so froth. There's something for everyone. And there's a cookie jar at every table, and they bring out lemon curd right away to enjoy on yourcookies while you wait for the rest of the service, which is very nice. I never feel rushed, and the service is always very pleasant. Definately one of my favorite tea rooms in the bay area.

I wish the tea sandwiches weren't so dry. Besides that, the food was mediocre but the tea and dessert were delicious. I did like the fact that there was an unlimited amount of Biscoff cookies in a jar as you wait for your food to be served. However, I felt that we were paying more for the tea room's setting than the food. I must say that this tea room's interior decoration is one of the best in the bay area.

I so wish you had mentioned to your server that there was a problem with your sandwiches. They should never be anything but delicious. We would have immediately replaced the sandwiches. Please let us know if you ever have a problem so we can fix it right away. I hope you do come back.

The Menlo Park Lisa's Tea Treasures is my absolute favorite tea parlor! The sunny yellow paint just instantly cheers me up! The gift shop upholds the Lisa's standard of charm and beauty.
The food is always beautifully and artistically presented. And when the large tray of desserts is presented it is impossible to think of diets! There is always sinfully tempting cheesecakes and tarts and gelatos and chocolate- ugh! Scandalous! :)
Menlo Lisa's has the added perk of its very own train stop! The train makes it convenient to meet my friend, who lives in Palo Alto, for tea. You can also choose to dine outdoors and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine!
If you haven't has afternoon tea at Lisa's in Menlo- I definitely recommend it! You will love it!

I love Lisa's Tea Treasure's. The atmosphere is wonderful, like stepping back in time with the wait staff wearing black skirts, white tops and starched white aprons. The owner, Dale Ann is a true gem, she always has the best attitude. The array of teas is great, usually loose leaf steeped to perfection, and piping hot. The specials are just that, special. This Valentine's Day special was the best ever. Creamy asparagus soup, that was served hot, delicious and different sandwiches, pear and blue cheese, and smoked salmon and cream cheese on a croissant, and of course hot out of the oven scones with devonshire cream and preserves. My best friend and our daughters try and go several times a year. We never miss Mother's day either, where we are greated with champagne. There's a gift shop also where you can buy the tea's, ginger cookies and lemon curd along with some beautiful china, jewlery and during Christmas time the best ornaments around. It's always a treat to go to Lisa's.

I have been to Lisa's several times and overall I do enjoy the tea experience here. I did find on this visit though that our server seemed quite hurried and not very jovial. I also see that the prices keep going up at this establishment but the offerings don't improve in kind. Lisa's used to be a pretty decent deal (as decent as a $20 lunch not including tax and tip can be a 'deal') but the price increases are making this tea room begin to rank lower on my list. Overall a very pretty and quaint establishment with great ambiance.

Unfortunately we have been forced to pass along some of the price increases we have been getting from our vendors.
