Variety: Elegant but simple decor and a very calm atmosphere. We arrived right before traditional tea time and it wasn't as crowded as I imagined it to be. Friendly staff and very prompt service and I adored my tea. The Rose Garden tea was very good and my husband's chai was delicious as well. My daughter loved her tea as well and as there was a small group with older children about it seems a good place for families. I'd definately go back if I'm in the area again. |

Variety: The staffs were fantastic as well as the décor. However, after paying about $30.00 for one person for lunch I expected a lot more. Their was a limited choice of teas (maybe 3 or 4) and the tea was very weak. (Tasted like hot water) the lemon curd and cream were amazing but, they served a cinnamon scone. (Dreadful) Lemon curd and cinnamon scone don’t t mix. (Would have enjoyed a blueberry or current scone) Sandwich were just OK, dry and uncomplicated. The desserts were from a big box store, frozen, awful, and not made in house. For $30.00 a head I expect homemade dessert. Would I go back? No. This was your average run of the mill tea house. |
