Madhatters Tea

This was an interesting little stop. It has a bit more of a café feel than a traditional tea house. I got the high tea served on a tiered tray which was nice. You come in look at a menu and order from a counter window. They give you a number, you pick out a tea cup and find a seat. The food came quickly and the tea was very good, loose and served in a small cast iron pot. (Which was gone a bit too quickly) With the high tea for two you got three tea sandwiches for each, a strawberry for both, four petit fours, and a big scone to slip. When you were done you left your food there, a waiter never came to see if we were okay, but again it’s more of a dinner feel.
Overall it was okay for a tea house, nice for a lunch place.
