Variety: I had the pleasure of attending a baby shower at Bella Rosa's and LOVED it! It is so quaint and cozy and the food was scrumptious. The chicken alfredo lasagna was wonderful and I love the King Ranch Chicken casserole. Soups, salads, desserts...all wonderful! Great service on top of all that. I highly recommend this place. |

Variety: Excellent, excellent food! Everything is very tasty and the soups are out of this world. The daily specials are delicious and the sweets are absolutely yummy. Very welcoming ambiance - quite cozy. You've made me a 'regular'. |

Variety: Dear Disappointed on 12/29/08 You need to go back and see the exciting things that are going on at Mary Johnson's Tea room.. It has been under a new owner since 2/1/09 and everything has changed starting with the atmosphere and recipes...everything is made from scratch..the inside has been completely remodeled...Even though the stash tea is still served, there are many china tea pots to choose from and the peach and raspberry tea are now brewed fresh...the new name is Bella Rosa and the new owner has worked very hard at earning the reputation back so please give this place a second chance! The new hours are Tues.- Friday from 11-2 and on Saturday's it is available for private parties and showers...They now serve different flavor sones with their salads and they are awesome! My favorite are the italian parmesan scones...Anyway it is worth a try...We would give it a 5 star rating just for freshness...You need to hurry and book reservations quickly since they are filling up fast! |

Variety: Going out to tea is a very special event in my family and we like to try different places. This place was lacking in everything besides service and decor. The scones were more like sugar cookies. The 'preserves' were not only smuckers preserves but the were in individual packets (like at a mom and pop dinner). We could hear the microwave heating food! The teas were mostly packaged stash teas and the 3 options of loose tea tasted more like dust. On top of that there wasn't even a teapot in site except for on the chandelier. The Lady that helped us was cheerful and pleasent and the decor was extremly charming. If you are expecting a highnoon tea go somewhere else. This may seem harsh, but it was very disappointing for all of us, and at $20 a piece I expect more than a smiling face. |
