Variety: My mom and I took my Grandma for her 91st birthday. We were pleasantly surpised of how the tea was made. They use real tea leaves and it is seeped poperly! We loved the freshly made scones and the lovely devonshire cream. All and all we had a wonderful experience. |

Variety: My friend said ' Lets go for tea' l had never been to tea before and was rather worried about the whole thing. What does one do?..She took me to Meadowlark Tea Shop last week and l was blown away. What a treat it was. The English decor was delightful as was the wonderful tea we were served. l have never had scones like the true English scones, but they were amazing. Everything on my tea server was delicious and freshly made. Perfect presentation. Our waitress,Chantal, was so very attentive and just added to our joy with her humor and light hearted banter. l will be back to Meadowlark and l will recomend this tea room to everyone l know. |

Variety: I enjoyed everything about this tea shop. The menu offers a variety of different teas to suit everyone's taste. My tea arrive hot and steeped just right. The food was great and it's presentation was lovely. The tomato basil soup was absolutely wonderful! Please note that I don't even like tomatoes; however, I left with a SECOND cup of their soup. Yes, it IS that good. The server was sweet and attentive. She was the only one serving that day but she did an awesome job. This was my first experience at Meadowlark Tea and it won't be last! |

Variety: l recently visited Meadowlark Tea Room for the first time. l had read the review in the Columbian Newspaper and decided to give it a try. Mm three friends and I attended for afternoon tea. We were not dissapointed. Everything that we had read was true and beyond. You can tell that this is run by a person who is English. It is so very evident not only in the decor, but also in the food. Our tea was presented beautifully and the artistry in its presentation was just lovely. We came for tea and stayed for four hours. It was so enjoyable and hard to leave the tranquility and peacefulness of this wonderful little English Haven. We will certainly be back. |

Variety: I have enjoyed coming to meadowlark for the last year, it has truly turned me into a real English tea drinker(hehe) while at least I fell that way..... From the scones to the specials I have never been disappointed and that clotted cream Sharon makes homemade is TO DIE for. The servers there are so attentive and full of smiles Everytime I go in, they really do enhance the experience that's for sure. I've brought many friends with me to try and they have all loved it. Just one more thing, I've been to some of the events and have really enjoyed it so far the Victorian candle tea and tea with Santa have been my favorite.... |

Variety: I have been to this tea room once before, and I enjoyed it so much I decided to take a group of friends for afternoon tea. WOW!!!!! Lets start with the food: We had a mixture of Afternoon Tea's and Lunches so we could try it all, the scones were perfect, they were light, fluffy and hot, the homemade clotted cream is to die for, our sandwiches were fresh and our soup was divine there is nothing we can say against it. Servers: Again Amazing: We were greeted by Chantelle and Austin, who have some of the best manors and persona I could wish to have serve me in a tea room. Chantelle lit up the room when she walked in and was overly knowledgeable regarding the menu and the different tea's even down to where they came from and blended and some history behind that specific tea. She made ou... (more) |

Variety: The food was lovely and the tea selection was vast. Too bad it was spoiled by all the yelling in the back room. I don't expect to pay to have to sit in such a hostile enviroment. Sadly, as good as the food was, I doubt I'll be back. |

Tearoom Response
My Dear you have it all wrong. The so called yelling was not hotile atall. Infact one of our employees had told a very funny joke and we were all in hysterics at what she had said. You should have brought this to attention at the time and we would have shared the joke with you. l am surprised that laughter sounds hostile. So very sorry to be happy at our work while we serve you. :-)

Variety: We attended a bridal shower here with a large group and had a fantastic time. Our first tea house experience. Food was great and we had a tea that I never would have picked on my own and it is now my favorite. Service was good and we will return. |

Variety: I was very disappointed. The deserts seemed like they were straight form the grocery. The sandwiched and scones dry. |

Variety: Recently, Clare & I were celebrating our 60th Wedding Anniversary. We were visiting 14 tearooms in the Northwest as a treat, some new and some repeats. We were visiting the Meadowlark for the first time but our daughter who lives in Vancouver raved on it. When our party of 9 arrived the tearoom was very crowded, over 40 people and our table was designated by a sign as reserved. Sharon (owner) greeted us with hugs and a sincere welcome. Our server Brooklyn was superb, even though the place was filling up fast. We enjoyed our Meadowlark Tea in a relaxed and fun style. Sharon kept stopping by and making sure that all was well. My wife being English and I being an Anglophile, we had lots to talk about with the owner who comes from Reading UK. The food was great, the scones were tall a... (more) |

Variety: Ordered a tea, waitress came back to report they were out and offered an alternative that I said would be fine, she returned to say they were out of that one too! Finally third tea they had. Tea, sorbet, soup, and tiered tray all arrived within 5 minutes, no time to enjoy course before another arrived. Soup very good, sandwiches bland, dessert: one nut thing good but raspberry one tasted burned. Scones very dry, tasteless. Waitress very attentive. Overall experience very poor will not return. |

If you hated my tea room so much why did you stay until after we had closed. You arrived at noon and did not leave until after 4pm. Strange.

Variety: l can see why this tea room is the number 1 tea room in Washington state. Myself and three friends came for tea today for the first time. We are tea girls and try to go to tea rooms once a month as our girlie treat. Impressed is not the word. We were blown away when our Meadowlark tea arrived at the table. Ample sized sanwiches full of flavorful fillings. Two large and warm English style scones with the best clotted cream l have ever tasted and a top plate of desserts that looked like they had come out of heavens kitchen and tasted like it. Did we have boxes to take home. YES...amd we purchased some of the desserts from the display on the buffet. l have made my reservation for my next visit in two weeks and l will be tasting those goodies in my sleep until then. l highly recomend you visiting this tea room and having the same experience as my friends and l did. |

Variety: l had the pleasure of finding this quaint and cosy tea house last week. l detoured off interstate 5 on a business trip, just for tea. l felt like l was in England. There were flags flying for the Queen's Jubilee party the next day and the whole atmosphere was wonderful, even to the English accents in the kitchen. l did not have tea as l chose the 'Doc Martin lunch' a British Cornish Pasty. It was delicious. Large and very filling. l so enjoyed it. l did however see the afternoon teas being served and on my way home from Seattle l will again be visiting to have tea. Anyone looking for a truly authentic taste of Britain needs to come and try Meadowlark tea room. Oh...after reading the review by Mary l would like to add that the food could not have been fresher and the prices were extreamly reasonable for what you received. |

Variety: l visited this tea shop last weekend with my family. We had five adults and two children. We were welcomed and made to feel so at home. My grandchildren were each given a smaller tea cup and their very own kiddies teapot. My little grandaughter was given a tiarra to wear whilst she was here and made to feel like a little princess. Then came our food. Absolutly wonderful !!!. There was plenty of food for the guys in our party and we all had take out boxes and enjoyed our desserts at home later. l am so in love with this place that l will make it a regular destinatiion for myself, my friends and anyone else who wants to come with me and enjoy a simply wonderful tea time. |
