I haven't been to many tea rooms but Miss Allie's is one of my favorite places on earth! Its atmosphere is quiet and whimsical, a bit shabby chic but with vintage elegance. The food is delicious--their cold fruit soups are wonderful and the lavender scones are a must! They serve up a hearty chicken pot pie. I think they have a very wide selection of tea, but like I said, I haven't been to very many tea rooms to be able to compare. The ladies that run Miss Allie's are a very sweet and friendly mother-daughter team. If you stop in--ask why its named 'Miss Allie's Front Porch'. Its a great story!!
