Food: Relaxing and comforting is the sense you get when you enter Miss Rosemarie's. I have had the privilege to have tea here many times and have always been greeted with warmth and grace and been served with the most gracious servers. You are never rushed out and are left feeling relaxed and refreshed from your time spent. Take a moment to step back, slow down and sip on one of the 60+ tea choices as you nibble on delicacies from their menu. Miss Rosemarie's has always been a great place to enjoy a conversation or a good book, see you there! |

Food: Miss Rosemarie's is not only the cutest but i would also say, hands down, it is the best tea shop i have ever been to! The service is excellent! They have such a variety of teas, you'll find it hard just to choose one. The atmosphere is also so wonderful. My girlfriends and i went here and they just let us stay and chat for as long as we wanted. They don't rush you at all and is very friendly. Food: Just Wonderful!!!!!!!! Food was excellent, from the soup to savories to scones to dessert. The owner and waitress were very attentive and charming. They presented me with a tea to enjoy later for my birthday as well. The tearoom is lovely and elegant, not overdone or gaudy. They house a great selection of teapots and tea accessories. Food: This is a lovely restaurant, a wonderful addition to the Birmingham culinary scene -- reminds me of the teashops in England, complete with delicious scones, lemon curd, clotted cream. The tea lunches are a special treat, but they have a regular menu as well. The decor with lace tablecloths, fresh flowers, and china is beautiful; the food is delicious; and the service is impecable. If you haven't eaten here, you have missed a wonderful experience. |

Food: I wish I could get this tea room more than 5 stars! This was my first tea house experience. Wonderful! My friends and I were just thrilled to try it out and were not disappointed. We get together once a month to shop and lunch and I decided to try Miss Rosemarie's as a change. Glad we did! We had a lovely time, the food is excellent and the employees were terrific. The tea was outstanding. The atmosphere was lovely. Beautiful room. The quiche and sandwiches were tasty, too. And those scones...best I've ever had. I highly recommend this establishment to all. We will be going back very soon (and regularly!). |

Food:  Oh what an experience .... very chaming interior ... old-fashioned in a very refreshing kindda way. You could dress elegantly or evening casual and you would fit right in. Excellent service ... they even accomodated my special requests ... Rosemary & her sis are very cheerful ladies .. and a guy (pirate-looking) also part of Rosemarie's family, is very helpful & friendly. Rosemary is very well educated on the menu & teas. Loved thy teas ... quite an impressive variety ... and food was great ... but they should probably expand their food menu. I am just very happy to have this tea room in Birmingham! |

Food: A friend gave my daughter a baby shower at Miss Rosemarie's last weekend. What a perfect place to celebrate the upcoming birth of a baby girl! I cannot say enough about the tea room. The food, the service, the inviting atmosphere, the decor-----all went into making the event absolutely magical! I have been to the tea room before and have always been pleased but many people in attendance at the shower were experiencing it for the first time and I have received many calls saying they can't wait to return. It is a special place. |

Food: This is a great place for lunch or afternoon tea and now dinner. I go by myself and often with friends to get away from all the stress of the day. The food is terrific! The people are wonderful! The service is excellent! The atmosphere takes you back to another time! Even Scarlett would have stopped in for 'Tea'! The Soups are the best I have ever had----Great taste! The choice of teas are really above measure, and the caribbean is one of the best around, says my husband. The desserts are excellent and varied. Rosemarie greets each of her guests and makes them feel at home. You certainly don't want to miss this treat on your next trip to Birmingham! Or like me, your next spare hour. My husband and I are looking forward to enjoying dinner there one day soon. |

Food: My party was not seated for about 45 minutes, and we were not offered water or even allowed to order until the last of our party arrived. I've been there twice and the food was almost exactly the same as when I had gone before. Everyone is nice enough, but the service in general was very poor. |

Food: Lunch here was so very good. The chicken salad was the best I have ever had which is my favorite thing to try at the various tea houses. My friend had the quiche and raved about it. We spilt a piece of chocolate cake, just fabulous! We can't wait to go back. Oh yes and our tea was served really hot, which I often find is a problem in a lot of tea rooms around town. Birmingham has a limited selection of tea rooms and we are fortunate to have this one. I would like to respond to the comments made by Myra on 5/28/2009. The picture she painted is not accurate. She suggests he is “clumsy” but failed to mention he is a Vietnam veteran and has one arm. The server she refers to is one of the owners and they all work as a team and he assists in every way so customers can be served in a timely and efficient manner. Food: I am a frequent customer and supporter of what Ms. Rosemarie's is all about, and I have to say that I was disturbed by the review of a Myra on 05/28/09. The 'He' that you refer to in your review, would happen to be Mr. Rosemarie, (as he is so lovingly referred to by all that know him), and 'He' is a Vietnam Veteran with one hand. It's alarming that you would think him clumsy and annoying. What is annoying though, is that with all of his frequent inquiries about how the food was, that you never once spoke up about your concerns on price and quality. Food: It is a beautiful tearoom, but the delicacy of it is destroyed by the server who dresses inappropriately, the way he served tea was so clumsy. When he served the tea his unbuttoned shirt was touching the saucers. He was very annoying with his frequent inquiries about how the tea and food was. The food is not good enough to be priced so high. |

Food: This is one of the best tearooms. The different teas and their history was very interesting and informative. My friends and I celebrated our birthdays. We all agreed that it was a great experience. One of my friends took some leaf tea home to try. We all thought that for the quality of the food food and excellent service the price was very good. In fact we plan on bring other guests to experience Miss Rosemarie's. Before I made the reservation, I was thinking of going to another tearoom but after I read the excellent reviews I chose Rosemarie's and I am glad it did. |

Food: Beautifully appointed and meticulous detail to the surrounding, your table and the service. Pampering and relaxation happens here! Definitely recommend bringing along a friend, co-worker, parent or child for tea and delectable goodies. Any occasion will be memorable. I've never had bad service any time I've been, no matter how busy it gets there! (I've been at least three times now). The prices are reasonable and considering how special they make you feel, I felt it well worth leaving my server a nice tip. It's hard to find a calming personal place like this with great food and servers that smile and pamper you like they do. Go for it! |

The food is delectable and my husband is quite fond of the green tea. I myself love the scones! There is not a single place that does Scones like Rosemarie does them! I too have been to a dozen tea houses but none have quality tea or perfected the brewing of tea as Rosemarie does! The service is also exceptional, Rosemarie and her staff are very kind and attentive. I can think of no better way to spend a weekend afternoon. See you again soon Rosemarie!
