Food: I visited the Mittie's in Norcross several times with friends and reccomended it to family. The service was terrible! The waitress tried hard but had no help. I understand the Norcross site is closed. So sorry to lose so many tea rooms in the Metro Atlanta are. Surely someone could do better. |

Food: There is nothing elegant or refined or classy or impeccable about this place as their advertisement states. I've been here twice in recent weeks, as I'd taken friends there for celebrations. VERY disappointing and embarrassing experiences...too bad, because Mitties used to have a good reputation about 10 years ago. By going the second time recently, I was just 'giving them another chance.' I will never go back and will tell my friends never to go there again. Wish I'd read the other reviews prior to going.The server acted like she was doing us a favor, but you could tell she didn't like her job and should be working somewhere else. Same with the cashier. Food: I totally agree with the poster above. I have been to this so-called 'tea room' twice and have been disappointed each time. You receive a tea pot of hot water and Twinnings or Bigelow tea bags, which I could buy myself from Publix. Each time the owner says 'We're thinking about getting loose-leaf teas,' but never acts on it. The owner is scary, but her staff is so sweet. The worst part is that both times I've been here, the owner yelled at one of her sweet staff members in front of customers! I will never go back. Poor girls who work there - I hope they find jobs where they're appreciated! |
