Molly's Tea Room

Molly's is a wonderful find in downtown Falmouth. There are plenty of bars and restaurants along Main St., but Molly's offers a quiet place to have a light lunch or enjoy a pot of tea and 'just right bites' of assorted pastries. Tea service is by small pot in a cozy; yielding about three 8 oz pours. The tea bags are left in the pot and an egg timer is provided to help you gauge the brewing time. Lemon, honey, milk, and sugar are included, if desired, with the appropriate dispensers/utensils. This is a tea room, not a diner, and the attention to tea service is very good. The staff is excellent; professional, friendly, and attentive. Everything is made on the premises and you must try the deep dish asparagus and bacon quiche and salad. Refined without putting on airs, Molly's is a welcome lunch spot for those looking to sample fine teas and chat with friends.
