  This is a shop for buying loose-leaf Chinese tea: in other words, you cannot buy a cup of tea or any food here, you cannot sit in the shop and drink a cup of tea, and there are very few, if any, flavored tea blends. However, if you want the kind of teas that Chinese people drink at home, this is a good place to go. This is where to go if you want to find Chinese herbs for medicinal use, also. Service is basic; the staff will brew some tea for you to taste, and they will tell you all about the tea, but there is an unspoken expectation that you will buy something. I bought a floral/black tea blend from them and have enjoyed it very much; most of their teas are unflavored, and loose-leaf.

  The owners, Steven and Ann Chein are direct importers of some of the finest Taiwanese teas you will find anywhere. They are extremely knowledgeable about tea, have an excellent selection of teas, and are happy to share their knowledge with their customers.

  This is an excellent place to purchase tea (there is no food). Enjoy some tea at a small table or sip while you roam about. We often buy roses or other dried items to make our own blends. I have not yet found a place like this one. I buy my green tea here. The selection is extensive and worth a trip. It is Asian, the decor is humble, and it is one of a kind. Plan to spend some time looking because there are many things to look at. The people who own the place are a joy to do business with, but like another reviewer added, there is a language barrier. I let the male owner pick out teas for me and he is slowly teaching me about green tea. He’ll put out the energy to teach if you ask and will work to get past the barrier.

  This is a great place, and I will definitely be going back. The cozy store feels very authentic, and thus not crawling with the typical Starbucks-hipster type. They have a nice selection of loose leaf teas and teaware, and the owners/managers are extremely kind and quite generous. There was a bit of a language barrier, but the woman there was very patient with me so it wasn't a problem. Like the previous reviewer, I also recommend trying a tea tasting. (There is no food there, which is a non-issue for me, but the reviewing system won't let me put 'N/A' or leave the field blank.)

  Fantastic teahouse w/an extensive selection of Chinese loose leaf tea and teaware. If you enjoy Chinese tea this is the place to go - green, pu-erh, and oolong are all well represented. Friendly owners, nice small shop on the main street. Recommend you try a tea tasting there.
