I have had enjoyed each and every experience I've had at Mrs. Tea's Garden -- afternoon teas, a Teddy Bear tea party, even a Bunco night! The owner, Kellie, is such a warm and delightful person - and always very accommodating -- she makes everyone feel especially welcome (as does her kind mother.) The food is delectable, the presentation is beautiful, and of course, the tea is divine! The atmosphere is lovely as well. I must admit -- I simply feel all the better after each visit I make!

Thanks for clarifying that for me. Unfortunately, previous reviewers won't necessarily receive your comments to them. Teamap is meant to be a space to review your experiences at tearooms, not comment to others who have already reviewed. I am sorry to hear that someone has negatively reviewed your favorite tearoom. It's really not pleasant for any tearoom owner to hear someone was dissatisfied with their service, as we all work very hard each day to serve a relaxing tea. I thnk the best way to deal with negative reviews is for the tearoom owner to respond directly to the review because then the reviewer will receive that. I think it is sad that somethimg as nice as afternoon tea can bring people to write mean and hateful things, that is not what tearooms are all about. I think the majority of reviewers have good intentions, but a few seem to get nasty for no apparent reason. It always seems funny to me that when someone very negatively reviews me, they never showed their dissatisfaction while at the tearoom. I think everyone needs to have a cup of tea and relax.

Kelly and Mary are so darling -- they take such detail into everything they do for their customers.
Girls, if you need to 'just get away from all the stress of life, sometimes', well I truly advice you to go to Mrs. Tea's. You'll really engoy Kelly & Mary's exquisite food,demeanor and atmosphere. It is just so 'Beautiful'!

If you are looking for a relaxing tea room, I would recommend this tea room. Their food is exellent especially their quiche and sandwiches. Mary and Kellie are very nice, the customer service is wonderful.

I have visited this tearom several times...most recently with my mother-in-law to celebrate her 70th birthday. The atmosphere is absolutely enchanting, but it's all of the extra touched that make this tearoom so special. From the bone china and linen napkins to the little bell to ring when you need something, Mrs. Tea's Garden is a step above other tearooms!

The great thing about tea rooms is that each one is able to reflect the owner's interpretation of and passion for the ceremony. Mrs. Tea's pays perfect tribute from the warm welcome, to the quality of food, to the presentation. The quiche is delicious. I hope my schedule allows me to go back soon!

This is the best tea room I have ever been to! I visited today with my mother and two of our friends for our monthly get-together. I even brought my 4 month old daughter along. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. The ambiance is divine... we really felt like we were in the English countryside! We can't wait to come back again!

This is a lovely tea room. My daughter and I have tried many, many tea rooms prior to going to Mrs. Tea. Kelly, the owner, was very accommodating to my food allergy and very sweet. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very unique. We left stuffed to our fill and plan to return in a couple of weeks during spring break. Thank you ladies!!

This was my first experience at a Tea room as well as the other girls in our party. We had enjoyed afternoon tea and it was fantastic. The tea was somewhat of a life changing experience. I am now a Tea lover! We will be back for lunch again..it was a wonderful relaxing break from work!

Love this tea room. Visited many in the area and this is one of the top two. Food is great, always and filling, great prices very worth it. Fun for kids, dress up hats provided. Excellent Rose tea. Quiche wonderful and chicken salad crescent wonderful. The salad at the start is a nice touch. Desserts very yummy and teapot shortbread cookie airbrushed pinkish with colorful icing flowers on it beautiful. The tea room itself with the mural is so beautiful and relaxing, I wish I were there now. I frequent many tea rooms and am visiting the Tampa area now, have been there three times in February and plan to go at least one more time in March before I leave the area.

My friends and I make the rounds of tea rooms and this one is among the best if not THE best we've been to. The food was excellent - the cranberry and white chocolate scones are to die for. Service was great and we loved the gift shop. This is one we will return to over and over.

I just had a Birthday afternoon tea with my very good friend and several of her friends today and the experience was as exquisite as the tea! the food was delicious, the tea was outstanding and the decor was heavenly - reminded me of the tea rooms I frequented in London! I frequent many tea rooms every week and NO I dont own one. I read the review for this tea room and several others and some people are just unbelievable. The comments about the decor, food and service - where do I begin. We are all entitled to an opinion, but it is evident that some people are just out to sabotage others or that they are just plain miserable! My second favorite tea room which received just as rude comments, also has delicious food and great service but is farther from me. It cost about 33% more so I am limited as to how often I can visit but my point being - for good food at both and great service at both, one is done in elegant antiques and cherry wood furniture and one is whimsical and more animated. The costs is very different. To you who compared this to Walmart - go s... (more)pend a third as much money to sit in a different setting. Just don't be so rude! I have to come to know Kelli and her mother Mary very well after hundres of visits and they go out of their way to please. Many people rave about the homemade quiche and even take some home. Alot of tea rooms I have been to, give you a hard time about your appearance or lack of appointments but not here. That says alot in itself. Anyways, Kelli, keep up the good work! I appreciate you!

I met a friend for afternoon tea and she said this is the best tea room around. She was absolutely right! I can't wait to go back! My Girl Scout Brownie troop and our mom's met for the Mrs. Claus Tea's on December 10th. We had an awesome time! The service, food and the tea were wonderful! Girls were so excited; it was a great experience. I highly recommend visiting Mrs. Tea's Garden. We will be visiting again soon for upcoming events.

I have been to many tea rooms in central Florida and this is now one of my favorite. This was our first visit to Mrs. Tea's Garden and my friends and I had a wonderful time. The food was the best I have had at any tea room (especially the quiche,,,we had seconds), the tea was wonderful and Kelli and her mom made the experience very enjoyable for us.

Today my daughter and I enjoyed a delightful birthday tea!! It was our second visit to Mrs. Tea's Garden and it was top notch, just like the first time. The friendly and accomodating service is excellent!! My six year old especially loves admiring all of the pretty details of the china and today she even got to ring all of the bells! She also learned about seasonal changing menus, because she experienced new tea flavors and profiteroles, instead of petit fores. We are looking forward to the Gingerbread House Party soon! I have never been so excited to be so disappointed. Had read online that this is the number one tearoom in Florida. I don't know how this ranking is bestowed, but it is certainly not deserved in my opinion. The decor was cute, but lacked any charm and warmth. The food was even more disappointing. The scones were some of the worst I've ever had and the tea sandwiches had so little filling that I had to keep opening the sandwich to make sure there was filling inside. The tea service was adequate but uninspiring. If you want ggod tea and excellent food, particuarlly scones, go to Southern Belle tearoom in Plant City or Moffats in Dunedin.

I do not see how this tearoom is number one in Florida. There are much better tearooms in the Tampa Bay area if you are just willing to travel a little. The food was as unimaginative as the Wal-Mart lunch plates it was served upon. Speaking of Wal-Mart, this is how they would do tea if they ever decide to go into the business. Take a big room, paint a mural on the wall, put some mismatched patio furniture in there and call themselves a tearoom because they bring out eight bottles for you to sniff of to choose your tea. There were no tea cozies, no flowers on the table or the tea service, no personal touches whatsoever. The food was not good and the scones were worse. They were heavy and not sweetened at all. It is obvious to me that the owners are in the tea business to make money,... (more) not for the love of tea. If they were, there is no way they would serve coffee and call themselves a tearoom. If you want to go to the number one tearoom in Florida, go to Mrs. Tea's, if you actually want to experience good tea and food, I suggest you try somewhere else.

Mrs. Tea's is modeled after a village tearoom in Hertfordshire England, and not meant to be a 'victorian', 'shabby chic', or formal tearoom. I do have 6 plates I use in the tearoom, that you may have been served on, that belonged to my Grandmother. When she passed away a few weeks after I opened, I wanted to use a few of her plates, even though they were plain ordinary everyday plates, because they held special memories for me. There are so many various styled tearooms in the area, I am sure you will find one that will be your #1 tearoom.

Love the idea of each table having their own 'Bell' to ring, when you need additional service. The food selections are the best of all Tea Rooms I've ever visited. Tea selections are exceptional. I truly feel this beautiful teahouse is extremely exquisite! The service is outstanding, and the 'true English' style tea-room food is so authentic, rather than just being another Tampa teahouse cafe, which is truly what we really do have here in Tampa! However, finally Mrs. Tea's has given us an authentic British Teahouse, and I must also mention that the decorium is so elegant and picturisque.
May I also add, that if one truly wants a relaxing, elegant day for lunch, please go to Mrs. Tea's. It is a unique experience for one.

My daughter wanted a Tea Party for her 5th birthday and we were lucky enough to find Mrs. Tea's Garden. Kelli was wonderful with our group of 8 little girls and 11 adults. The kids LOVED it ! We have returned twice since and plan on joining Mrs, Claus for tea in December. I never realized how 'tea time' could turn into a tradition I'll look forward to sharing with my 3 girls for years to come.
