Overview

Visit our lovely and newly expanded Tea Room (private dining for special gatherings). Our dining rooms are filled with antiques dating back to the early 1900's, including a playing Victrola, and crystal chadeliers. All our place settings and tea pots are imported from England and the antique crystal plates and the patterns are matching for each individual table. The food is what we are known for especially the Chicken French Crepe, made fresh without the use of any preservatives. We are pure and simple in our kitchen, everything is made fresh and nothing comes from a can or jar that is served to our customers. Our scones have a french flare and baked fresh every morning accompanied with our very own lemon curd and sweet cream. We take pride not only with our cooking but with our wonderful service, and lovely surroundings.

Enjoy our 'Le Petite Boutique' which is located at 6620 E. McKellips Rd. Suite 102-103 Mesa, Arizona 85215. Filled with unique gifts that are pleasing for the young and old. Now selling antique furniture and Shabby chic. Cute as a button come in to today to see what's new!

So step back and time and visit us soon for a lovely 'cuppa tea'. Be sure to take a picture with our butler 'Earl' he is a character to be sure!

Vegetarian and gluten free items are available as well.

My friend and I just found this place out of the blue. Service was magnificent, they have the most adorable uniforms. Not only was it beautiful inside, but the food was to die for. No preservatives which is always nice for us healthy eaters. I had the Trudey's choice which includes a choice of sandwich and soup or salad. My friend had the Molly's Burger. Oh my goodness it was all delicious. We even tried some of the pastries they offer in their pastry store. I couldn't pass up the double chocolate cake and my friend couldn't say no to the cheese cake. The prices were reasonable for the portions and the tea was just as good. I will certainly be back for lunch and perhaps even for their breakfast. I would recommend this place to anyone of any age or gender!

Tea does not include tea. Tea is an additional $3.50 per person. Desert additional not included. Too expensive for what they give you. Weird food choices. Boutique items are pricey.

I visited this lovely establishment based on a recommendation from a client. I called ahead because the website recommended reservations but was assured that we wouldn't have to wait for my Friday afternoon lunch. I was a little taken aback by the exterior. This is located in a strip mall next to a sub shop. But the tea house inside clearly outclasses the neighborhood. We had the lunch special which included quiche, soup or salad and fruit. Both my companion and I enjoyed the food and the service was attentive. The atmosphere was lovely. I am sad to see that some of the other reviews were so negative. This is a small, boutique restaurant - not your local fast food restaurant or chain. If you are looking for a fast lunch with huge portions, go to Denny's! However, if you want a lo... (more)

I'm sorry but I was NOT impressed. Had reservations and we had to wait to be seated until all showed?! After we were seated, it was almost 15 minutes before anyone approached us. Once they showed though, the servers were very hospitable & attentive throughout. The 'fruit' was mostly watermelon with one raspberry, one strawberry and one blackberry - really? The tea is loose leaf and actually tasted very good. But it's served loose in the teapot with strainers on the table. Everyone serves themselves and has to share the tea strainers - messy and a little odd. The soup was very good! The sandwiches and scones came out together. I actually prefer my scones to be served warm and soft - these did have a good taste to them but were room temperature and too hard for my liking. I really d... (more)

Tearoom Response
Thank you Marie for writing a review. Please allow me to address some of the issues that you expressed in your review. We wait to seat our larger parties of 5 or more so that we may give the table presentation for everyone. We do use only a loose leaf tea and the tea strainers are on the table for each pot of a different flavor. All good tea houses do the same, no one uses tea bags that serves a proper tea. We accept all forms of payment and yes, even plastic or credit is accepted. We do not for large parties do seperate checks however. I am sure that your hostess for the luncheon expressed to your group that a single check is done. We use only fresh ingredients and everything is made to order, there are 4 tea sandwiches that are served and with the Elinor you recieved a bowl of fruit, soup, a scone, and dessert. I choose not to microwave scones and traditional scones are never served soft and are served freshly baked the same day. I noticed that you gave the artistry only one star, the dining room is lovely and filled with every care and detail as is the food and my wonderful staff.

I LOVE the ambiance. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but the tea rooms are lovely! Not TOO cutesy, but more victorian and elegant. And the dishes are so pretty. The tea is delicious. The chocolate rasberry was wonderful. My only complaint is the food portions for the price are very small. I understand that Tea is more of a lovely snack then a meal but the 'sandwichs' were no bigger then a cracker with a slice of cheese and tomatoe. It should be called an Hors d'œuvre not a tea sandwich. However for tea a scones this place is the best.

Tearoom Response
Amanda,

Thank you for writing a review. Our tea sandwiches are European portions which I know Americans are not very aquinted with. For this reason you have a veriety luncheons to choose from to accomodate all appetites. We offer soup, salad, crepes, quiche, and full size sandwiches. Thank you for the compliments about the scones, everything is made fresh to order. We hope to see you again soon. Thank you again! Ms. Thomas
