Yesterday my sister, niece, great niece and I, enjoyed tea at Wendy 's No. 10 Palmer Place and had such a wonderful time. Everything was above my greatest expectations. I try to experience a new tea room whenever I return to northeastern Ohio from southwest Virginia but I think I've found my special place, No. 10 Palmer Place. I and a large group will be returning in June to establish a birthday tradition for my great niece who will be celebrating her 4th birthday.
A BIG thanks to Wendy and her gang, a job well done and oh by the way they are the friendliest folks too.

No. 10 Palmer is my absolute favorite tea room. I've been to every other in the area and this one, hands down, is the best. The service is leisurely (don't come on a day when you're in a hurry), but that is how the experience is supposed to be. The variety of teas is extensive, with a different special tea featured every month. The food is wonderful, the service friendly, and the atmosphere very pleasant. In fact, my sister and I are treating our Mother to tea this Friday, her 95th birthday. This is also Mother's favorite tea room.

Love the Thomas Kinkade look. My husband loved it also. Filled him up and food was great!! Staff made us laugh allot. Owner even makes the effort to stop by and make sure things are going well. If not, you better say something so they can fix it. We enjoy pleasant atmospheres!!

Went to a shower here. No variety of tea available - just decaf or Earl Gray. Food was OK. The staff seemed bothered to be there. Cramped space. I enjoy Remember When much better.

We held my daughter's 5th birthday there, and while it was a fabulous idea, the service & operation was very disappointing We reserved the room well in advance, and upon arriving 5 minutes before party time, they were not 'ready' for us. We were not greeted, nor guided through the experience as we felt we should have been according to their advertisment. They boast hassle free parties...but I left feeling that I had merely rented a room at a facility. Food was offered to the children, I ended up serving. They were only offered one type of beverage. Parents were planning to order off the menu, but no one came to take their order. ASked for chocolate milk from a server in the main room since no one was assisting us. 15-20 minutes later...it came. Need I go on?
