Olivia's Tea Room

As most of the reviews reveal, Olivia's is a great place for a children's birthday party, but I would NOT reccommended it for adults wanting an authentic victorian High Tea.

3 of us celebrating my friend's 60th birthday -- We immediately felt welcome and comfortable. The food was presented invitingly and tasted delicious, especially the homemade chicken salad. The raspberry/key lime tea was to die for. Thank you for the most wonderful time!

Had my daughter's 4 year old birthday party here. The party was just right for the girls' age, the right length, the right pace, the right food! Different food for Mommies and kids and ALL was great! The staff made all of the girls feel special. Even the bill was quite reasonable. I want to find another excuse to have a party here!!

Olivia's is my favorite place to celebrate a special ocassion. I had my daughter's 8th birthday here and it was just perfect. They are so good with children and the food was wonderful and made just for them. I also attended a baby shower and it was the best. The food was so delicious that I just treated my Mom to a high tea here last week! She loved it all!!! The tea (both ice and hot) were fresh brewed and 'oh so good'. The scones were to die for and the clotted cream was so fresh. Each course just got better and better. The staff here is so friendly and warm. They treat you like family. I was really glad we could buy tea to enjoy at home but we will find more ocassions to enjoy this excellent place. I just wish they would open a tearoom in York. I will definitely recommend you guys to all!!! Hope to see you again soon.

We just had my daughter's 6th birthday party at Olivia's. What a memorable day for her and her friends. The girls enjoyed being treated as 'young ladies' with their own tea set and pastries. The sandwiches for lunch were delicious as well. Then a craft was made (an adorable frog that the girls brought home) foloowed by cake and ice cream. The cake was a gorgeous tea set that we brought home as well. My daughter felt like a queen (she had a tiara) and loved every minute of it. Thanks to the ladies for being so accomodating and making sure everything was take care of. We will definitely be coming again for the opening of the 'spa'. Thanks again!!

I have been to Olivia's with friends several times and must say WE were NEVER disappointed. Their teas are wonderful and their new ice tea blend was awesome. The scones are so delish! There is always something new on the menu but the chicken salad sandwich is to die for. The dessert are the finishing touch to the meal. Alice and her staff make us feel like family when we visit. I am so glad that Olivia's is close to us in Camp Hill. My friends and I loved coming here. We will be back soon and will reccomend Olivia's to everyone!!!

Our recent visit was a tremendous disappointment on so many levels. First, the house blend was 'borrowed' from a local tea room so they did not even have their own. Second, I do not think I have ever had so much white bread and cream cheese in all my life. It is clear their market is for children. I guess they should stick to that. Also, the owner made a point to tell us the dessert served was leftovers from her birthday gift from a friend. So we paid for a regift. What poor taste and how uncouth! Lastly, the staff continued to talk to us about endless topics which we did not appreciate...their grandchildren, local traffic problems and others. I was there to talk to my guest not them. They also clearly told us they wanted us to review their tearoom so they could improve their stan... (more)ding on teamap.com. Apparently, the number of reviews improves their rating whether or not the reviews are good or bad. If that is true, the teamap rating system is not very meaningful.

For such a nice local town, this tea shop is really a black eye for Camp Hill. The Chamber of Commerce in Camp Hill would not be pleased with such a shop taking up such prime real estate in their town.

I took my 2 granddaughters there for a special occasion (they live in SC) and we had a picture-perfect time!! They were so accommodating - even offered to comb their American Girls dolls hair, and showed the girls the proper way to do it, too!! Food was delicious! Presentation was upscale! And they were so friendly and welcoming, like we had known them for years!! They doted on my granddaughters, and me, too!! Perfect time!! Highly recommend them!! You'll love the experience! Can't wait to go back - may even take my daughter with us next time! :>) (Sorry it took me over 3 weeks to tout their tearoom! We were there on May 28th, 2010, but it has been a crazy life the past few weeks...)

What a wonderful place to have a little girl's birthday party! My daughter had a memorable sixth birthday party at Olivia's Tea Room. The girls' faces beamed as they made their craft and made their own sundae. The teacup set on the cake was adorable. We will be sure to come to tea again at Olivia's Tea Room. I took my granddaughter and her doll to their first tea (actually it was the brunch) and we had a fabulous time. Food was excellent (she is still talking about the 'cool' pancakes with the sprinkles in them) and we enjoyed making a bracelet. We had a lovely morning.

My mom held a tea for my twin sister and my 40th birthday. We had our daughters with us too and our aunt and grandmother. We had a wonderful time. Great atmosphere and terrific food.

Paige had her first Big Girl party for her 7th. Alice was very kind and Joyce had an air of quiet elegance. The girls enjoyed the party from beginning to end. All of th girls had played a part in the party. We will be back with the rest of the family and Paige's older sister. Thanks to you both.

I attended a Birthday Party Tea Brunch and was very pleased with the food, service and care of each one serving. The home of Olivia's Tea Room is very attractive and 'homey'. Thank you for a wonderful experience for my daughter, granddaughter, Olivia's other grandma and her friends.

Olivia's Teach Room was a Mother's Day gift from my daughter. We had a wonderful time talking, laughing and enjoying tea and the wonderful food. After tea we went shopping! What a great day with my daughter.

My daughter Madeline had her 6th birthday party at Olivia's in Camp Hill. The party was wonderful! Madeline had 12 of her girlfriends - they all brought their babies - and the babies sat in their high chairs for the brunch! Madeline chose the brunch with confetti pancakes - she loved them! The cake and tea set was beautiful. Perfect place for a little girls birthday party. Alice and her crew were wonderful and attentive.

My Brownie Girl Scout Troop had their end of the year party at Olivia's in Camp Hill and it was a wonderful experience had by all. Thank you so much to Alice and her wonderful crew! We even had a couple of food issues that I was not aware of and as soon as they found out, they went out of their way to accommodate those requests. They are very caring and attentive and took very good care of everyone! Thanks a bunch for a wonderful occasion!

We had a lovely experience at Olivia's in Camp Hill. The teas were very good - I bought some to take home. The environment was so pleasant. My daughter and I had ample time to sip and chat, plus our hostess offered a craft and special kid-friendly foods for my granddaughters. Olivia's could quite possibly become my new favorite tea room.

My sister took my Mother and I to the Mother's Day Tea at Olivia's. I am not a big fan of tea rooms and I had heard this was one was mostly for children. My sister told me she had heard really good things about it and really wanted to try it. WOW! was I surprised. The brewed tea was delicious. I even had to buy some to take home! The food was definitely some of the best I ever had. The scones were to die for! The service was wonderful and the staff was so pleasant. I have really change my mind about tea rooms. My Mother just loved it and thought the roses they gave us were a nice touch. I even told my sister that I definitely would recommend Olivia's to everyone for it is the best one I have been to in a long time. We will visit soon.

My niece, Makayla, celebrated her 8th birthday at Olivia's Tea Room with a couple of friends and family for a tea party brunch. Miss Alice and Miss Joyce were absolutely wonderful! This was our first time and what a wonderful experience. They catered to the girls the entire time with apple juice, confetti pancakes, waffles, muffins, cinnamon rolls, chocolate dipped banana slices...the girl's loved everything. You definitely know what most kids enjoy eating! Adults enjoyed the House Blend and Sweetheart Tea in which I purchased later. The girls dressed in their princess outfits and had their dolls or stuffed animals which were placed by their side. Craft time was enjoyed as well. The birthday cake along with the tea set, just beautiful. This was a delightful experience for all of us. We will definitely be back for another visit. Thank you Miss Alice and Miss Joyce! What a wonderful memory Makayla will have to look back on!

My daughter's and I (ages 4 & 6) had a great experience at our friend's birthday party at Olivia's Tea Room. The brunch and service was wonderful! Alice and Joyce were wonderful hostesses and made the girls feel like princesses. They were very pleasant and personable. They were at our service the entire time and the food was great. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone!

I had my daughters 7th birthday party here last Sat. and we also had the bunch menu. All the girls loved it. Even my son who came along said that the cinnamon rolls were the best. My daughter loves pancakes and waffles so it was perfect for her. The staff is so good with the kids and the crafts is so much fun. Ellen can not wait to come back for the American Girl Club Tea in May. Thanks Olivia's for a great party.

My daughter's Birthday party was fantastic. The staff was attentive and very pleasant. My daughter chose the brunch menu and the food could have been better, however the cake was fantastic!

My friend took me as a surprise to Olivia's for my birthday. I had been here about a year ago with my Red Hat group. I thought it was okay but not great. WOW!!! It's now one of my favorites. The tea is delicious, the flavor is outstanding. The new menu is wonderful. so much food and it's is so GOOD! The service is the best. Alice and her girls are great and have the best stories. I absolutely will be coming back again and will be bringing my Red Hat group. This place is a must try if you enjoy tea rooms. They have really move up in my book!!!

The scones with white chocolate chips were my favorite thing. If you are an American Girl doll fan or a Grandma of one, this is the place to go. With adults or take your young ladies...a fun time.

I accompanied four of my fourth grade girls to Olivia's Tearoom for a beautiful, delicious, and cheerfully-served tea. The girls were delighted with the tasty food and both the craft and stuffed bunny they took home with them. Thank you for a memorable experience.

My friends and I enjoyed a lovely special Easter Tea at Olivia's. Everything was wonderful. The tea was excellent and the food was awesome. There was so much of it and all of it was so good!! The dessert at the end was so refreshing to end with even though we all said we couldn't eat another bite.The service was wonderful. Alice and her helper were so cheerful and helpful. What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon! Everyone should try this tearoom. It's delightful!!!!

Atmosphere was warm and inviting; service was excellent as was the food. I love the fact that they cater to children's tea.

My daughter and I and several friends have had the pleasure to enjoy Olivia's Tearoom over, at least, the last 5 years. The attentive service, relaxing atmosphere,variety of creative yummy finger sandwiches, salads, and desserts are a delight to young and old palates. Children always get an extra treat with a wonderful craft of some kind to complete. In addition, shopping for American Girl Doll clothes and accessories adds to the fun. A visit to this tearoom is a 'must do' experience....

Last Sunday I enjoyed a warm, relaxing afternoon with a friend having tea at Olivia's. The tea was delicious with lots of kinds to choose from, the food was wonderful and Alice was a pleasure to visit with us. I love that so much time is taken to see everything is just right. Our Daisy Girl Scout Troop earned the Manners Try It Badge. It was a fantastic event. The girls had a blast! Would highly recommend!

Really nice tearoom. Enjoyed time with my Mom. Everything was wonderful and I especialy like that we could have decaffeined tea. The service was perfect and we had plenty of time to enjoy being together. My Mom can't wait to come back.

I am from the New York area and was visiting my Mom last week and she treated me to lunch at Olivia's. It was wonderful! The tea was delicious, the cocomint was my favorite. The food was excellent and service was great. They didn't rush us at all. This is a wonderful tea room. I just wish their was one in New York like it. The best we have been to. Thanks so much!

My stepdaughter had her birthday party at Olivia's in February. We all loved it. The food was great, the activites for the girls very cute and the staff was so sweet and great with the younger girls especially. It was perfect for the first real birthday party shes ever had :)

My 8 year old daughter and her friend attended a pj party for them and their dolls this Saturday and cannot stop talking about it. Everything was so kid friendly and they can't wait for the one next month. Olivia's is a real find. Thanks for being in Camp Hill.

I had my daughters 16th birthday party here and it was wonderful. The girls loved the menu just for them and the raspberry and peach teas. My 3 sisters and I take our daughters out together once a month and we decided they were old enough for a tea party. We heard good things about Olivia's and thought we try it. The Tea was wonderful, so many different kinds, and our girls had pink lemonade (they did try the tea but were glad for the lemonade). Our food was delicious. My one sister is gluten free and Miss Alice had a special menu for her and she loved it. The girls just loved their special treats and enjoyed doing their craft. This place is awesome and we will be back soon. Thank you Miss Alice and staff for such an enjoyable afternoon.

What a delightful tea at Olivia's tea room we had recently. I treated 3 good friends and we had a wonderful time. Alice was so friendly and the 5 course meal was excellant. I thought the teas that we had went very well with each of the courses. The house blend was so good I bought some too. Very lovely time, we'll see you again soon!

I took my family here last weekend at the 'Open Tea'. Olivia's Tea Room was so accomodating to all the adults and children as well. The adults enjoyed a wonderful menu and delicious teas while the children had a fun menu of cute appetizers and butterfly and flower sandwiches. They even did a craft with them. We really had a lovely time and already made reservations for the Easter Tea. Thanks Alice, you ladies at Olivia's did an outstanding job!

Wonderful tea lunch at Olivia's Tea Room! A group of ladies enjoyed a very pleasant 5 course menu and everything was delicious. The scones were fresh from the oven and delightful. The tea sandwiches were interesting and tasty. The chicken salad was my favorite and we all enjoyed the teas as well. The house tea is a must try and I could even buy some in the cute store they have in the front. Thanks Alice for a great tea luncheon, we will be back!

I went with my sisters-in-law and mother in law for a girls day out. The Sweetheart tea was wonderful, service was excellent with each course perfectly timed. We were all full and happy when we left

The ladies at Olivia's took great care of my little lady guests. The food was so tasty, each girl wanted something more, and they drank 2 whole pots of tea! The birthday tea party was a smashing success.

I have had two dbirthday parties for my daughters at Olivia's. I was so pleased with the ambience of the tea room, the attention to all of the young ladies and the coordination of all the activities. This is a wonderful and cozy place for a birthday party. The staff at Olivia's takes care of everything and is very attentive to the needs of the young ladies. I've been to other Tea Rooms and this was an exceptionally delightful experience particularly for my granddaughter. I have never been to one that was so enjoyable for children both in ambiance and attention. It was a birthday celebration that will be long remembered.

My granddaughter celebrated her birthday at Oliva's Tea Room recently and I was very impressed by the setting, the organization and the lady like behavior of all the young ladies. The tea room also offers an excellent selection of doll clothing and accessories at an affordable price.

I was visiting my sister-in-law and niece to plan a family shower - we have decided to do a tea party theme and the staff at Olivia's was great and gave us lots of useful information! THANKS.

Attended V-day tea with my daughter and the food was very good and filling as well. The girls loved the conversation papers as well. Would definitely recommend!

Brownie Troop #37 from Elizabethtown had a special Brownie Tea at Olivia's Tea Room yesterday (2/20/10). All 16 of our girls attended and had a fabulous time! The food was specially geared towards 2nd and 3rd graders. They loved the decorated pink marshmallows and the sandwiches cut in flower, heart, and butterfly shapes. They had pink lemonade to drink and cookies with sundaes for dessert. Ms. Alice taught the girls table etiquette so that they could earn their manners try-it. After 1.5 hours, the girls left with completed crafts, full bellies, balloons and smiles in abundance. Would highly recommend a Brownie tea party for any troop that wants to add a little spice to the Girl Scout experience for their youngsters. Very reasonably priced.

I attended a private tea party throw for young girls and their dolls. The atmosphere was cozy and whimsical with all of the dolls and doll accesories displayed around the shop. There were 3 tea choices but I'm not sure if they were loose leaf as the pot was brought out already brewed. The food was kid friendly and appropriate for adults and arranged in a visually pleasing manner. The service was excellent and friendly. The owner was very accomodating to food allergies. The quality of the experience was as I expected from such a lovely tea room.

I live out of state and wanted my friend in Carlisle to have a gift certificate for Olivia's Tea Room. Keli of Olivia's was very accomodating and was very speedy in sending my friend her gift cert. My friend was excited to receive it for her Birthday. Definitely recommend dealing with Olivia's Tea Room.

We Love Olivia's Tea Room! My daughter is 5 and has been going there since she was 3 with a group of friends. For special occasions, and regular days. The ladies at the tea room are wonderful and careing and make your expierence relaxing. The food is delicious and fun for the girls...young and old. It is just a nice experience for anyone!!

One of the cutest places for a little girl to go in Camp Hill! You will fall in love with clothes and assessories available for your daughter's American Girl doll. The tea parties, birthday parties and special occassions are the best! It makes you want to be a little girl again!

Wonderful place!! My two daughters, 7 and 9 LOVE to go here. We've had several teas and parties here in the past 3 years and the girls continue to love it! They love taking their American Girl dolls along for the tea party and love to shop for an adorable outfit afterwards. I enjoy the relaxtion of sitting at an adult table w/ other moms and being able to enjoy an excellent menu and varieties of teas! (Coconut almond tea was GREAT last weekend!) Great time for all ages with wonderful, friendly service!

We were introduced to Olivia's Tea Room in the summer of 2009 when we had a private tea with three moms, three girls and three American Girl dolls. What a treat! My daughter, Jordan, had her 6th birthday there and has attended two other teas - a luau and New Year's Eve. She has a great time every time! The staff is welcoming every time and the birthday party could not have been easier to arrange and plan. Besides their wonderful teas and birthday parties, the variety and price of their American Girl doll clothes and accessories can't be beat! I highly recommend it for any little girl around age 4 and up and moms and grandmas of all ages!

We became huge fans of Olivia's last summer and have gone there for every holiday ever since. My daughter is in love with the doll teas and the prices for doll clothing and accessories can't be beat. The staff has become dear friends because they are just so fun and welcoming. Yesterday's birthday party for my little girl was adorable and perfect. We are already looking forward to Valentines Day tea!

We just discovered Olivia's Tea Room in Camp Hill, Pa. in Dec. 2009 and now my daughter and I are big fans! What a wonderful tea party my daughter and her friend had on Jan 2, 2010--lots of food & fun! They loved it so much that I made reservations for the Valentine's tea party.

Excellent service and atmosphere. I loved the variety of finger foods and they were presented so quaintly on antique serving pieces. Very cozy and friendly. I would highly recommend.

My 5 year old granddaughter and her best friend and I enjoyed a holiday tea Sunday afternoon. My granddaughter summed it up by saying 'I just love this place!!' My sister, and I and a few friends with our daughters choose a place to have a Christmas Tea every year. This year we picked Olivia's. Wow! what a surprise. The food was wonderful for the adults (especialy the pumpkin scones) and what a surprise for the girls. They had there own food just for kids. We were so full we had to take our dessert home with us although the girls did manage to eat there ice cream sundries with special Christmas sprinkles. We also love the time to just talk while the girls did a really cute Christmas craft. The tea was wonderful especialy the house blend which we got to buy. We already booked a spot for next year, Thanks ladies for such a wonderful time for all of us.

Perfect is the best way to describe the Baby Shower for my Daughter at Olivia's Tea Room. Most guests were from Phila area. They raved about the warm and pleasant atmosphere. Food and tea were delicious. My daughter needs a gluten free diet. Alice adapted the menu for my daughter. I am so glad I choose Olivia's for the Baby Shower...

I had my daughter, Molly’s, 7th birthday tea party at Olivia’s tea room and it was the best birthday party. Everything was perfect and she was treated like a princess. They first started the party by putting everyone’s doll in doll chairs that sat right next to every girl! The food was adorable, from appetizers of lady bug crackers to sandwiches in the shapes of flowers and butterflies. Very cute and the girls loved it all! The cake was delightful, pink is Molly’s favorite color and there was even a tea set that she got to take home. Thanks again Olivia’s Tea room for making Molly’s party very memorable!

We had my daughter's 8th birthday party here tonight and she and her guests had a great time. Everything was prepared so that the girls were entertained through out the party. All I had to do is show up and thank the guests for coming. Well worth it!
