Food:  I've been coming to the tea lounge for over three years. I've seen the place redecorated three times now, and each change has not been a positive one. The owners have recently done a complete overhall of the entire establishment. The walls are re-painted, no trace of an aisian ambiance is left, and they've changed the name to 'Island City Bistro' or something along those lines. I knew they were going to remodel the place again, but I had no idea it was going to be such a departure. The ambiance is not comforting and gives one the feel of being in a cafeteria. The food was sub-par, and the selection of tea has been cut as well. I can understand the need for the place to stay in business during these hard times, and I wish them the best of luck, but I wouldn't reccomend this place to those really interested in tea anymore. I was a customer here for three years, as well as my friends, and now doubt I'll be going again anytime soon. Heartbroken. |

Food: I have been going to One Tea once a month for over a year now.It has been my most favorite place to go, since moving to Florida from NY, but I am sorry to say that since they have changed the decor, it has definitely lost it's warm and cozy feel, and the entire Feng Shui thing is gone. :( It breaks my heart, as the food is still great, the service friendly as always, but going there to chill after a long hard week, just doesn't cut it anymore. The lighting is too bright, and the colors are not soothing at all. I feel lost now, as the comfort level I once had, has been replaced with not so great music, and a coffee house atmosphere. |
