Oxford Hall is enchanting. I recently hosted a Baby Shower Tea there for my daughter-in-law. She wanted something that wasn't a traditional baby shower, no games, no fuss, just quiet and comfortable. Well, there isn't a more idyllic spot. The Tea Corner was a cozy quiet place for a wonderful shower. Cindy and Steve made the afternoon incredibly special for our party. The food was delectable. The tomato soup tasted as though it was plucked from the vine that morning. The pickey eaters in my bunch, did not go home hungry. They tried everything and loved it. It's hard to zero in on one thing, everything tasted lovely. The whole party was lovely. I couldn't have asked for a nicer couple to take care of us. Attentive to all of our needs and allowing us to have our time as well. The mother-to-be was very happy and has not stopped talking about the afternoon and thanking me. So, thanks to Oxford Hall and Steve and Cindy Washburn, for making me look good!

Oxford Hall had to be the best kept secret in New Cumberland. A friend and myself stopped in for lunch yesterday. The food is absolutely amazing. We had delicious hot cranberry scones with raspberry jam, lemon curd and devonshire cream. The homemade chicken salad on artisan bread was amazing. The server was extremely friendly and made our visit very enjoyable and relaxing. If you've never been there you are missing a wonderful experience. I will be going back!

I have been enjoying Oxford Hall Celtic Shoppe Tea Shoppe since before they moved to their present location in the restored 1800's house. From the dozens of varieties of teas that you can enjoy either in the shop or purchase by the ounce or pounds to take with you. With the teas, which you can do a proper or high tea or simply order off the menu, you won't be disappointed. One thing that is recommended, is to call about 2-3 days ahead and reserve a table for tea. I personally do this once a month with a friend. We don't limit ourselves to enjoying just the tea and foods. The food is all made from scratch and we have a hard time choosing not only which food to eat but which tea too. The atmosphere, owners, staff, not to mention the merchandise is all top notch. I have purchased several pieces of their celtic jewelry, food items to take with me from the tea shoppe. They have a large variety not only teas and food, but other tea items. The teas to be purchased come inn bags as well as loose. Purchased a tea pot for a gift, along with some pot holders. Have 5 of their gorgeous made in Ireland cardigans, the have gorgeous made in Ireland sweaters too. They have a nice variety of other clothing apparel for purchases as well. They always have Celtic music playing and they have books relating to Ireland for purchase. They always have great gifts for Valentines Day, and Christmas along with First Communion and of course St. Patrick's Day. Every year they set aside two evenings, one for guys and one for gals at both Valentine's and Christmas to shop for that someone special. It can get a bit nosy in there but to me it simply adds to the coziness of the place. They do have a handicapped ramp as well as two handicapped accessible restrooms.

Great selections of gifts for kids, weddings, confirmation and First Communion. They also carry items just for fun and for the home at a large range of prices. Some of the foods are available all year rounds, like their cinnamon twists, the oatmeal flapjacks that come in either chocolate or blueberry, and a variety of cookies. Come the fall, one of the seasonal offerings in the tea shoppe was something called, Chocolate,Pumpkin Swirl Cake. Talk about yummy!!! I can' say enough good things about this place, If I lived closer, I would be in there more often. Steve, Cindy and their staff are top notch in service, professionalism and friendliness.

Oxford Hall is a delightfully quaint little shop with so much to offer. The biggest draw for me is their tea shoppe and cafe where one can enjoy one (or more!) of over 70 varieties of superbly brewed tea and enough delectable treats to keep you coming back for ages. Authentically Irish sweets and savories are available to enjoy in or to take out on the way to wherever you’re headed. Sandwiches and mouthwatering entrees are prepared to order and I’ve not tried anything on the menu that hasn’t been exceptional. The proprietors are friendly and informative folks worth meeting as is Oxford Hall’s chef extraordinaire whose talent and love for delicious food will become apparent at the first bite. While waiting for my lunch I usually enjoy a steaming cuppa while browsing their excellent selection of Irish themed gifts. There is a beautiful selection of gifts for couples married or soon to be and a selection of imported, Irish caps, hats, outerwear and accessories. They have gifts for the home in any price range and a very fine selection of imported British and Irish grocery items many of which I have not seen available elsewhere. Indoor and outdoor seating is available and the service and prices are excellent. Highly recommended.

Cute and quaint and comfortable. The tea selection varies from black to green to rooibos to chai: great for finding your favourite or trying something new. The service is courteous and observant and always have something interesting to say. They try to go the extra mile. Whether you stay for a few minutes for a simple cup, or an hour or two with friends, it's a lovely and cheerful place. (You might even hear a few foreign accents walk through the door.)

They have a great selection of teas and a growing selection of food. The scotch eggs are to die for. Sticky toffee pudding is just like in scotland.

Homemade delicacies prepared from scratch right at the tea shop, coupled with a wide selection of teas and Celtic ambiance—make this a must-visit place. Owners Cindy and Steve and their chef Samantha take pride in their careful selection of organic produce and scrumptiously, tenderly prepared recipes. We are can’t say enough good things about the Oxford Hall Tea Room!

Fun casual place to enjoy tea and lunch. We celebrated a mother - daughter - aunt gathering after school, and enjoyed the tomato tart with a salad, the scones, and a peach croissant. The chai was delicious. Do stop in!

I met a few friends there for morning tea and it was lovely. The owner served us wonderful tea, scones that were still hot from the oven, and overall it was just a good time. The owners make regular trips to the UK and have some lovely stories to share as well.
