Pamela's Victorian Cafe And Music is a wonderful place to come for a relaxing lunch. Pamela greets you as you walk into a room of Victorian splendor; tastefully decorated by Pamela. The food is delicious and freshly prepared by her husband, George. Delectable to the palate and tastefully arranged on beautiful china. Choose one of the many delicious teas and it will be served to you in a teapot and teacup of your choosing from an array of lovely china patterns. Going to Pamela's Victorian Cafe and Music is truly a wonderful experience and one you will remember and treasure for a very long time.

Bethany Lutheran Church had Pamela and George come to us and have a 'Ladies Tea' and it was absolutely wonderful! They were gracious and very beautiful people. We had great food and music and the atmosphere was just lovely. Everyone had a great time! Thank you so much Pam and George! God has blessed you!

We really do look at our tea business as a ministry too, and are so thankful when we meet people like you! Hope to see you again soon...tell Jeanie I said hi!

I went to a tea last month with a group of friends and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Pamela and George were so friendly. Pam played the piano and was fabulous. George is a great asset to the business too. I would recommend this tea house to anyone. Today I was there with another group of friends and we had a fabulous time. A good time had by all. Make your reservations now and enjoy yourselves. Can't wait for the move Pam and George and your new beginnings again. Good luck.

I love this place! I was feeling blue (because of one of the places I frequented had closed) when a friend told me about Pamela's Victorian Cafe and Music. I am ever so thankful that she did. What a wonderful place! The food and tea are delicious! There's a little room with a child's table and chairs for my young girls to sit and enjoy their tea and sandwiches as well. I recently attended a Mother's Day tea and what a delight it was. We had a salad and when it comes to salads, I'm a bit of a salad dressing snob. I only like Ranch dressing. This particular salad already had the dressing on it. 'Oh boy!' I thought and I figured I'd try my best to pick around it. I was so wrong. The dressing was very light, and the salad was absolutely delicious! (I ate it all) George read some Mother's Day poems for us. Pamela played the piano beautifully. (So much so, that my daughter has requested lessons.) This place is truly a treasure.

Today I had my first visit to Pamela's Victorian Cafe & Music. My cousin Rose Woodring Balasco took me there for my birthday. I have never gone to a tea house before and it was just lovely! I had a wonderful salad that was very fresh and tasty, and a cranberry scone that was perfect. George recited a poem for me, and Pamela played and sang me two songs on the piano. At the end Pamela brought me out a delicious tea-cup dessert. It was a lemon cake with fresh cream. Rose and I split it. What a wonderful time I had! Thank you again, Rose, Pamela and George!

What a wonderful time I had at Pamela's Victorian Cafe and Music. I went with my sister-in-law from Washington State, sister, daughter, daughter-in-law and niece. The food was so good and I want to thank George for making the wonderful salad we had. It was wonderful. The tea was fresh and hot. Loved the scone. The entertainment was so lovely. Pamela has such a beautiful voice. Thank you for making my family feel so welcome. I will be there next month for my daughter's birthday. We weren't rushed out we just relaxed and enjoyed talking to each other. Thank you again.

It is a great pleasure to go to Pamela's. You feel like your in a turn of 20th century tea room with all the beautiful antiques. Pamela dresses in clothes of that period and always looks beautiful. The food is always deliciously made fresh by Pamela's husband. He knows how to make the food look apetizingly good. Pamela is a very special hostess and makes you feel very special when you walk through her doors. She is excellent pianist and she has a beautiful voice. The entertainment is as good as the food. I can't wait till I go back to visit.

Where to begin? We have been going to Pamela's for almost a year now and I am so happy to have such a lovely place to join with friends and family and be together with a steaming pot of hot tea and delicious freshly made food. Pamela greets us like long lost friends--or better yet family. She is always impeccably dressed--like our coming to the shop is a special occasion and she is wearing her best things just for us. The decor is so beautiful and there is so much detail that you cannot see it all in one visit--a good reason to keep going back. Then the food--oh the food! Fresh, beautifully plated, served on fine china on a table dressed beautifully with lovely linens. A pot of freshly and properly brewed tea for each of us and finished with scones and clotted cream. I would go everyday if... (more)

Looking for something to do for that special girls birthday party.......call Pamela's Victorian House of Tea. My daughter and her two friends spent hours at Pamela's today celebrating her 9th birthday. They had a fashion show, sang, drank tea, and ate scones and finger sandwiches. I would highly recommend Pamela's for that special birthday celebration or just a girls day out. We are already planning our next visit....a mom and daughter tea day

Today's event was special because someone else, a stranger, went out of her way for us.
We had never been to Pamela's Victorian House of Tea and Music.. (Pamela's Victorian Cafe). Because my little daughter Eve's beloved Grandpa has been ill, he and Granny couldn't come to celebrate her birthday, which was today. To soothe the disappointment of Grampa's absence, I thought today would be perfect for a special fancy birthday tea and late luncheon. We arrived at Pamela's just after 3 pm where we learned that Pamela closes at 3. My heart began to sink. Then Pamela, whom I've never met, said, 'Come on in. We can do this for you today'. She made my little girl feel super special as we picked out tea cups and tea pots, and special hats to wear. She even played Happy Birthday on the piano.... (more)

Absolutely a great time! I enjoyed myself at my first Irish Tea Party at Pamela's Victorian Cafe & Music. Pamela is a wonderful host! Her personality lights up the room! Her passion is evident as soon as you meet her. I love to see the team work that her and her husband, George have! This is their calling. They go above and beyond to share their joys of making guests feel comfortable and invited. I look forward to attending another Tea Party with Pamela! Good Bless Pamela and George, for continued success in all their life ventures!

Bonnie,
You and your mom have been some of our favorite tea guests since we have started doing teas. And that was 11 years ago! And then to have a special event with your mom treating her friends to a formal tea this past Monday was very special for us. You say we blessed you, and you blessed us in return...how about the limerick George came up with on the spot and quoted to everyone on that very theme of you blessing us so! We are still eating that yummy chocolate chip and peanut butter bar that your mom made for George...that was so wonderful of her to think of him working so hard in the kitchen and to make him something special as a thank you! The entire experience with your group was a wonderful time for us, glad you enjoyed everything so much. Till next time....love and hugs.

Pam and George have done a wonderful job with their cafe. The decor is gorgeous and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I absolutely love their walnut grape chicken salad! Pam is the perfect hostess and an incredible musician. Her private teas are a real event - with her history and etiquette presentation and a concert to top it all off. My son and I took my mother to Pamela's Victorian Tea for lunch one afternoon, we had a blast! The food was awesome and the scones are to die for! We had a relaxing lunch with no rush and Pamela is a great hostess, we all talked like old friends. It was my mothers first time there and she loved the unique atmosphere as did we. We all were hats (yes even my 9yr old son) and just had a great time

- Michelle Saylor 03/12/13

Tearoom Response
Michelle, we had great fun that day with Travis just going right along with the ladies, and actually choosing our biggest hat to wear! And wasn't it fun to see his reaction when the cute twin girls walked in, about his age, and he never missed a beat...just kept the hat on and kept eating. You forgot to mention the provolone and cheddar grilled cheese that he had to have another of! Ha! What a fun afternoon. We enjoyed getting to know your mother too, and like I've told you before, the Saylor family is one of the nicest we have met! And what a joy to teach Travis piano lessons right there in the cafe...he really has talent that is evident after only 4 months! And of course the cafe atmosphere has its benefits for Travis...he gets 2 sugar cubes after each lesson! Please come back for tea soon, even though I see you every week! :)

My wife and I had the privilege of visiting Pamela's and what an experience it was. It is all things 'Victorian' and the food and service where second to none. Pam and George you are a great team and you have a special place to offer guests something different than the same old restaurant experience. This place is a must for anyone who wants a truly unique tea room experience. And the enterainment will make you smile. Can't wait till we can come back.

Rob and Alana,
I was so excited to see you walking across the parking lot, knowing you were up from Florida, and maybe couldn't fit a visit in. I even said to my guests...oh my, I can't believe it....there's Rob and Alana coming to my tea room...of course they were happy for me but didn't know who you were! Wasn't that a fun afternoon? We always have such great laughs, and then when we were on We Are Central Pa. live on TV your phone call from Florida the next morning congratulating us was so wonderful..we love you and can't wait to see you both again...thanks for the great review!

I brought my 5 year old daughter in for her first proper tea party experience. She had SUCH a fun time! We enjoyed trying on hats and shawls prior to sitting down to eat. She loved the doll tea table set up and she chose to sit right beside it so she could play and eat. She brought her special stuffed animal with her and she served her special friend tea with a miniature tea set. I just cannot express what a special experience this was for the both of us...something special for all mothers to do with their little girls!! We loooved it! Both Pamela and George were so friendly and we felt like we were right at home.

- Holly 03/08/13

Tearoom Response
Holly, it was our joy to serve you, and it all worked out so well at the end...with me worried that my voice student would show up any minute and you and your mom and daughter wouldn't get to experience all of what we offer at our tearoom. George can tell you I was fretting about it in the kitchen to him, and then, my student was late, and you all got to visit longer, your mom showed up and had a good time, and we got pictures, and everyone was happy, and I breathed a sigh of relief! Because I also teach piano and voice lessons at the cafe, I have the lessons come later after hours, but that day you were there was a close one! We so enjoyed having you, the pictures I posted on my Facebook page is just priceless! 3 very pretty ladies! Please come back again soon!

A delightful Victorian experience for all the senses. Pamela's creative variety of blends were too many to choose from, so I will have to come back and try more. I like that she offers tea by the cup or pot, and I enjoyed getting to pick out my own cup and saucer. The food was fresh and definitely added to the experience. Pamela's music makes me smile, and her friendly, knowledgeable conversation is worth the trip by itself.

The charming ambience of Pamela's tea room happens the moment you walk in the door. The atmosphere is truly a Victorian experience. Every corner and every wall you will find something beautiful to look at. Pamela's cheerful personality always makes you feel welcome and she will want to have a wonderful experience. She may even surprise you with one of talents. Her husband George does an amazing job preparing the food and he also does a superb job as a poet. Great atmosphere, food, entertainment, and tea. We are glad you enjoyed your experience with us, and most of all I am happy we are friends, we lift one another up in prayer during events, share trying times, all the while knowing He is only a prayer away! My friend Bev took me to Pamela's today, and I didn't stop smiling the entire time. There are so few places you can go anymore where people are genuinely friendly, and I told Pamela this. With her, you get smiles, laughter, music, beautiful atmosphere, and great food too! The tea cozies for the teapots were so nice to keep the tea warm in, and my friend and I felt like we could have stayed there all day--there was no rush. I cannot wait to tell all my friends about this tearoom, and I wish them continued success...such a lot of work for 2 people, but they never let it show in how they treat you...with warmth and caring.! I will be back soon!

I came by myself one day last week when Pamela was closing the tea room and she graciously allowed me to stay and order off the menu. I was just in awe of the beautiful atmosphere and tranquility of her tea room. I only ordered the potato soup and it was wonderful! Pamela's Personali-tea was so delicious I couldn't stop raving! And the scones - oh the scones! So wonderful with the Devonshire Cream! Today I came back and brought a friend and I was even more impressed - the tuna melts were wonderful, the tomato bisque was wonderful, the almond cherry was great and best of all Pamela played and sang Ain't She Sweet for us! I'm bringing more friends next week and I can't say enough about how exquisite this tea room is and how welcoming Pamela and George make you feel!!!

I had the pleasure of having my 8 yr old daughter's birthday party here! It was so awesome, the little girls dressing in beautifully decorated hats and jewels and acting like little ladies! Pam gave the girls an excellent overview of the history of tea and high tea time. It was not over their heads nor was it boring for them. The girls got a kick out of acting like older women and pretending to gossip and all.. The food was excellent! the Birthday cake flavored tea was so exceptionally tasty. Pam plays the piano and sings with the girls, and even provided the cake and treat bags! i will definatly have more parties there! Love love love it!!

Lisa, words cannot express what last Saturday meant to George and me as we not only were able to feed you food for the body but for the soul and spirit as well, and not only that, you fed us right back. Only eternity will reveal what goes on when two or three gather together in His name, and how that causes treasures to be sent up above. Thank you for your exquisite review, your word choices are just beautiful, I don't know how to say thank you properly, but only to say that George and I have made friends with your group and that friendship is lasting. Certain groups stand out in our minds, and we will never forget the wonderful time we had with your group. Even when there was another group there, and it was time for your tea party, you all were so wonderful picking out hats, putting on capes, trying on everything, so easy going. Very rarely do we have 2 events so close together like that, but as George said, can you believe how nice this group is and easy going? Please come again...you are always welcome to come in for just a cuppa tea, or just to say hi! Blessings!

With visiting Pamela's Tearoom for the first time and as a suprise from a very speical friend. It was so warm and welcoming that as if I was there before and met Pamela. Everything from the welcome as you entered the door to the very end. It is a very relaxing and wonderful place. I will be going back and taking people with me so they can experiance the same thing I did. Thanks so much for everything.

Julie, your group last Thursday was so much fun because you all really enjoyed every minute, from the etiquette presentation in the beginning, to the food...yummy salad tea for one...to the music at the end. So glad your leader treated you to our tearoom...that means a lot to us! You are welcome back anytime, and please spread the word. Good luck in your business..maybe I will join too!

Visiting Pamela's Tearoom was a wonderful experience. She makes everyone feel so welcome like you are part of the family! The scones were delicious as were all the selections we tried! Her tea presentation is top notch and the musical program at the end was such a treat. I would recommend her tearoom to everyone wanting to have a special day with family or friends! Visiting her tearoom will add a spark of refreshment to your day!!

Dorie, you have been a big supporter of my tea business for almost 11 years now! You have seen me go through good times and bad times! Always you have prayed for me, and look what God has done! Thank you for the lovely review, and wouldn't it be great if you could sing at the end of my teas, and we could do duets like we used to do? Wish you lived closer, my dear sister and friend too!

Visiting Pamela's Victorian is always a pleasant, relaxing experience. My daughter and I visit for lunch frequently. The atmosphere is so pleasant and the homemade foods are wonderful. We particularly enjoy the chicken-walnut salad as well as the scones and variety of teas offered. The musical offerings by special request are a unique experience.

If you are looking for an 'Aaahhh' moment in your day, look no further. You will be pampered and treated like royalty as you sip your choice of loose or bagged tea, brewed in your very own teapot! My favorite is the acai berry, no sweeteners needed. Yum. Eating off of real fine china is a far cry from the plasticware from Target that I use at home! And the menu has lots of great choices, all of which are homemade. A very lovely place to take a break from the hectic pace of life.

Rachel, thank you for you lovely review..so glad younllike the Berry Berry Good Good tea...why the name? Because it is so good for you and tastes good too..George named that, one of our house blend teas! We love having you come to our tearoom, and I loved catering Elaina's birthday tea at your home too! Of course you are always welcome to stop in and have a cuppa when you are in town...love you!

The service was amazing, as well as the food. My favorite is the grape walnut chicken salad. I'm from out of town and whenever I come in town, I make sure to stop by and get my grape walnut chicken salad fix in! I brought my young sons in the last time I was in. Not only do they have delicious adult food, they also have a nice kid friendly menu in. This is a great place and would recommend it to everyone!

Sarah, thank you for your lovely review. So glad you like the grape walnut chicken salad...next time I come to visit, I will bring lots for you to have! We loved having you and Matthew and Andrew even hat fun trying on hats! The tea variety was lacking, and that's putting it nicely. Extremely overpriced for what I could get at Giant Eagle and make myself, sorry.

- Gayle 02/23/13

Tearoom Response
Dear Gayle,
Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. We are the least expensively priced tea room in the area! Of COURSE anyone could go to a grocery store and buy items and make food at home for a fraction of the cost you pay at a restaurant. Everyone pays more to go out to eat. And at most restaurants you do not get gold flatware, fine china, linen tablecloths, linen napkins, choose your own teapot and tea cup from a wide variety, choose hats to wear if you choose, and have food prepared fresh as it is ordered, have the owners read poetry to you and sing for you to make your day brighter. You really should have made your wishes known to our faces so we could have made it right instead of writing the first negative review we have ever gotten in almost 11 years of doing this. And if you really thought the menu was overpriced, you could have gotten a bowl of soup for $3.50 or a scone for $2.80. We have over 15 different varieties of loose leaf tea on our tea list, and another 15 we could have offered you, if you had asked. We had no indication that you were unhappy, so your deceit to us during your experience was great acting. Anytime I am unhappy at a dining place, the waitress or owner knows right then and there.

Pamela's Victorian Cafe and Music is truly a treasure that all people (including men!) would love to experience. Upon entering the cafe, one feels the warm, welcoming atmosphere instantly. The pleasing ambiance cannot be caught in words, but is noticeable to anyone who visits. It is the small details, such as heart-shaped sugar cubes for Valentine's Day, that make the cafe special, and one can tell how much effort Pam and George put into the cafe. Beautifully decorated according to time of year, the small, intimate setting is perfect for a meeting between friends and family. The tea quality is excellent, with a variety of flavors to choose from, and the food is incredible- I have never had a better scone. George and Pam work well together and are very personable. I went for my birthday once, and found that Pam is an extremely talented pianist and singer. We highly recommend you come here!

Our daughter Pam is one of the hardest working people we know. The tearoom she has now is after years of hard work researching tea party etiquette, a history of tea, and years and years of practicing the piano, which she has incorprated into her tea parties, throughout her young and adult
life. She has a talent for decorating and with people, and would always set the table in beautiful china for even a simple lunch. She is deserving of her success after all of her years of hard work. We have been to her tearoom and the food is great from soups, to salads to sandwiches to desserts. George and Pam work well together and he is the perfect complement to her outgoing and fun personality. May you have years of success and joy ahead of you!

I've lost count of the number of tea parties we've attended because when we are ready to leave, we sign up for the next one. That's how much we look forward to being with Pam and George in their tea house once again.Pam, all three of us agree that 'Every tea with you, girl, is sweeter than the tea before!' Be sure to stop in over the holiday seasons as well because they have an abundant collection of holiday décor. Where do I start? My husband, and five of our six children visited for the first time for a birthday party for our 4 year old little girl. From the moment we entered until the time we politely parted ways, our experience was filled with delight. The ambience was second to NONE. The beautiful hats and china made us all feel like we were truly in a magnificient tea house. The food was divine. The tea etiquette we received was both informative and charming. The piano playing was not only heartwarming, but musically pleasing. Our children had a wonderful time, and before we made it home, we were asked numerous times, 'when can we go back again?!' I give Pamela's Victorian Cafe & Music Teahouse TEN out of TEN stars. Simply the best! We greatly look forward to visiting again, where we know the food will be delicious, the Lord's presence will be felt through the grace and hospitality of the owners, and our children will be made to feel special and welcome. Keep up the great work!

Nicole, thank you for such a lovely review. It is hard for me to even put into words the loveliness of your family floating through our doors in Victorian splendor. The dresses you had made for your little girls were beyond any we had seen in 10 years of doing tea parties, and even your little guys were dressed like Victorian gentlemen from another era. I can't wait to post pictures for all to see...really we were inspired by the beauty of your family, and inspired by the love which you brought into our tea cafe. It is evident that yours is a happy family indeed. We can't wait to see you again, and we feel too that you have made for us memories that will last a lifetime. God bless you in all you do!

Pamela truly loves kids, and you can tell by how she treats you. Her music is great too, and she's a great decorator! Every age will enjoy the tea experience at Pamela's Victorian! Her special house blend teas are really good. I had the Earl Grey Bouquet toys made with Pamela's favorite Earl Grey with Lavender, and her favorite flower, the Rose. Rose and Lavender. She said her name means ' all sweetness' and ' all honey, so another house tea was blended with cinnamon, cloves and vanilla, a naturally sweet tea, as sweet as Pamela! I love it at her tearoom, and want to come as often as I can!

An elegant and exquisite tearoom. We come not just to eat but for the entire experience. I knew nothing about the etiquette of tea until I went to two of Pamela's formal teas, Mother's Day, and my daughter's birthday party. We just got back from an Alaskan Cruise and my daughter and I were able to share the etiquette at dinner! People around us were asking questions, and soon they were doing the etiquette too! I was able to tell people about learning all of this at Pamela's Cafe! Pamela and George are so personable and the love of God shows in every aspect of their cafe service. I would recommend coming here and this the place I love to bring people so they may experience this. The blending of teas, the homemade food, what a wonderful experience! It was so special for me for me to treat my daughter's friends to this experience and many other friends as well.

I have eaten at many tea houses before but Pamela's Victorian Cafe & Music Is the very best by far of all the ones I ate at. Pamela makes you feel like you are back in the 1800 century. She lets you pick a hat to wear and you can pick out your own tea pot and cup and saucer. The food that George prepares is the best by far, then any that I have tasted at a tea house. This is the second time I have gone to Pamela's Victorian Cafe & Music and I would invite anyone to come along with me or with someone else.

This was my 3rd time there, and loved it all over again! The pineapple upside-down tea was delightful! I've tried a different tea each time (as well as an extra one - also tasted from my mom's pot last time), and loved them all. Can't get enough of your scones & cream! My 5-yr-old loved the victorian decorations - lace, pearls, hats to wear, dolls. Felt like we were in someone's Victorian home! Although there were many other customers when we where there, if I hadn't actually seen the other people, I'd not have known they were there - I didn't feel that the service suffered at all. Wonderful experience & memories, thank you!

- Melanie 06/20/12

Tearoom Response
Melanie,
Your words were so touching that George and I read them several times and just said 'Wow'! We do hear so much that it is like our guests are in someone's Victorian home! I guess that is because when we started out 10 years ago, we did the private formal Victorian teas in our home, and people came from far and near to experience the hospitality. And for you to say that even though we were busy, you hardly noticed because the service did not suffer, what a wonderful thing to say to two people (George and me) who really try to give great service each and every time, no matter how busy we are! We love your daughters too...they are always welcome, no matter the ages!

And the fun of picking out your very own teapot and teacup for the afternoon. I just can't say enough good things about the place. They have taken a very generic box store and made it into a delightful Victorian retreat. I definitely plan to go back often
