What a wonderful surprise I received coming to Pamelas. Not only was the atmosphere suburb but I found my long lost best friend from high school. What a joyous day it turned out from both of us.

WOW! What a treasure this place is !Each time we have been to one of Pamela's teas, we have been overjoyed ! And now that Pamela and George have moved into the historic Bell Mansion, things have gotten even better ! The exquisite Victorian decor and obvious attention to every detail is matched by the lively personalities of the owners. Pamela and George put on the best presentation with a spirit that shows their love for what they do.They make every tea event a day to truly remember. And the Christmas dinner and tea was unbelievable. From the ambiance to the great food and tea, to an incredible music presentation . Pamela, your iano playing is second to none and your sister Dorie ,who flew in for the occasion has the absolute most beautiful voice I have ever heard. There was not a dry eye in the sold out place ! People left there feeling so warm and uplifted, a night never to be forgotten. Pamela's Victorian tea and music is a rare treasure.

- Peter 03/28/14

Tearoom Response
Peter, It was wonderful to read your enthusiastic review! We will never forget your smiling faces as your beautiful family tried on hats, and enjoyed the etiquette presentation, even Jackson had a hat on!
We strive to do our best to please our guests, and of course one of the ways we do that is through music. Dorinda Walsh was the finest soloist we have ever featured at the Mansion, and it would be great if she lived nearby so we could have her come sing at least once a month!
We look forward to the day when you can come see us again, and it will be with much rejoicing!

Spent the evening with a group of friends at Pamela's Tea Café with a High Christmas Tea. Wonderful evening! Pamela is the perfect Hostess, we could not have asked for a nicer evening. The food & tea were excellent along with the Victorian décor. To make the evening even more perfect, Pamela played the piano and led us with a sing-a-long of Christmas music. Lovely time.

My childhood friend and I had THE MOST delightful experience at Pamela's Victorian! It is such a charming tea room. The food and service were both outstanding! Pamela is very engaging and personable, and she goes out of her way to ensure that her guests have an amazing tea room experience.
The décor is captivating too - so much to see! The added touches - such as allowing guests to borrow hats and accessories; and allowing guests to select their own tea pots/tea cups also adds to the experience. I HIGHLY recommend Pamela's Victorian. I look forward to visiting the Altoona area again so that I can embark upon Pamela's Victorian again! My experience there more than surpassed my expectations too - I assure you that you won't be disappointed if you visit Pamela and The Bell Mansion.

I love this place! I was feeling blue (because of one of the places I frequented had closed) when a friend told me about Pamela's Victorian Cafe and Music. I am ever so thankful that she did. What a wonderful place! The food and tea are delicious! There's a little room with a child's table and chairs for my young girls to sit and enjoy their tea and sandwiches as well. I recently attended a Mother's Day tea and what a delight it was. We had a salad and when it comes to salads, I'm a bit of a salad dressing snob. I only like Ranch dressing. This particular salad already had the dressing on it. 'Oh boy!' I thought and I figured I'd try my best to pick around it. I was so wrong. The dressing was very light, and the salad was absolutely delicious! (I ate it all) George read some Mother's Day poems for us. Pamela played the piano beautifully. (So much so, that my daughter has requested lessons.) This place is truly a treasure.

Glad your family will have their Christmas party with us! Blessings always!

Today I had my first visit to Pamela's Victorian Cafe & Music. My cousin Rose Woodring Balasco took me there for my birthday. I have never gone to a tea house before and it was just lovely! I had a wonderful salad that was very fresh and tasty, and a cranberry scone that was perfect. George recited a poem for me, and Pamela played and sang me two songs on the piano. At the end Pamela brought me out a delicious tea-cup dessert. It was a lemon cake with fresh cream. Rose and I split it. What a wonderful time I had! Thank you again, Rose, Pamela and George!
