Variety: I tried to go to this tearoom on June 27 and it had gone out of business. |

Variety: Excellent food, more than you can eat. Was a bit suprised the scones were served at room temp instead of warm and they forgot to bring plates for our breads, but did remember before we had finished them. Homemade pastries are all wonderful. Take home goodies from the display case, all are tasty. We will return, have other tea rooms to try first but plan on coming back. |

Variety: The tea room has a very eclectic selection of tea's outside the norm like blueberry bliss, pecan caramel and others that were quite intriguing. The food was absolutely the best that I have had in any tea room. The chicken dumpling soup was superb. In addition to a very attentive waitress, the chef herself came out to verify that we were happy with our selections. The waitress kept our tea cups full and constantly checked to make sure that our pots were not cooling down. The pastry shop in front is divine with a wide variety of handmade chocolates and pastries. The chocolate eclair had a crisp crust and was overflowing with a delightful pastry cream. The waitress was a little too obvious though, in pushing the highest priced items on the menu. Other than that, it was a wonderful lunch. I will be back again and again. |

Variety: My friend and I are on a quest to explore Tea Rooms of Southeast Michigan. The food and service here was excellent! The tea was made properly and was also excellent. The historiacal building was very interesting with it's hand hewn beams and woodwork. The pastrys are out of this world and we both took some home to the families. We will definately be back because two days later, I am still craving more of the best tomato bisque soup and Maurice salad I have ever had! I got a head start on Christmas gifts with the beautiful gifts for sale. The tea cozies are especially unique and reminded me of my grandmother's table linens. We had a thoroughly charming experience! Thank you! |
