We are so thankful to have chosen Petticoats & Petit Fours Tea Room for our wedding reception. Arrival at the reception was more than we could have expected with the beautiful decorations, bubble machine, and warm welcoming atmosphere. The whole tea room was elegant and romantic with sweet words of encouragement on the lace covered candle decorated tables. It was perfect. The staff took care of us throughout the whole evening by making our evening full of wonderful memories and worry free. We served the chicken and roast beef for dinner in which we enjoyed and was commented on by our guests throughout the night. While at the tea room we and our guest enjoyed the lawn and front porch following dinner. It was truly an intimate experience that will always be remembered by my husband an... (more)

My daughter had her 7th birthday party at this tea room, and had a wonderfully delightful time! The children's tea room is beautifully decorated, and perfect for a little girl of her age. The seven girls thoroughly enjoyed dressing up with the hats, gloves and jewelry that was provided, then had a wonderful time acting lady-like while sipping their pink 'tea' and enjoying the finger sandwiches and cookies. As one of her little friends was leaving the party, we heard her whisper to her mother 'this was the best party I've ever been to!'

We celebrated my daughter Mary's ninth birthday recently with the Sugar and Spice tea party! The girls were allowed to select hats, gloves, and jewelry first, then come downstairs to have the party with the 'grandmas'. What a wonderful birthday party! The girls thoroughly enjoyed the hot chocolate and beautiful trays of sweets and heart shaped turkey sandwiches. The adults enjoyed the Lady Elizabeth lunch (delicious in every way) while the girls had their own table to themselves. We also ordered an adorable bonnet cake to the delight of our daughter! The service by Emily was wonderful. The highest compliment was given by one of the girls who exclaimed, 'This is better than Chuck E Cheese!'.

A mother daughter day, on my daughter's 11th birthday. Our server was Emily, and what a wonderful personality! My daughther and I both enjoyed the excellant service. We had a great time, and we will be back soon. The tea was the best we have experienced!!! God Bless You & your family Leslie and thank you for a wonderful Christian setting to enjoy a special day together. My daughter & I smiled through the entire lunch experience. I recently hosted my mother’s 80th birthday party at Petticoats and Petit Fours Tearoom. The entire experience was delightful. The owner and staff were extremely helpful during the planning stages and very gracious on the day of the event. I also selected the optional “tea lady” historical presentation and Emily did a wonderful job delivering background information on tea traditions while dressed in a beautiful vintage costume.

This charming setting added significantly to the overall tea experience. Hundreds of tiny details in the décor helped recreate a time long past; evoking fond memories for older guests and creating new memories for all. The tea choices were extensive; my personal favorite is Chocolate Orange. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The full Victo... (more)

10 of us attended the Tea Room on
Saturday, April 5th. I have been
there numerous times and have always enjoyed it. It was the first time for my 9 other friends and everyone enjoyed it. The tea,
food, service and atmosphere was supurb. The setting is in an older
brick home with a formal setting. They serve wonderful scones (plain
or cinnamon raisen) with devonshire cream and jam, as well as a choice of desserts, sandwiches, salads
and quiche or a savory (Cottage Pie). A visit there always makes for a delightful afternoon.

I just recently celebrated my daughter's 16th birthday at the tea room. We had a party of six and were treated like royalty. The girls have never had so much fun. They really got into the spirit of things and talked in a British accent the entire time. Not only were the tea and food superb, the memories made will last a lifetime. Thank you so much for offering such a unique experience for Salem and the surrounding area.

My sister, my husband and I were at Petticoats and Petit Fours on Saturday for the Lady Elizabeth luncheon tea. Everything was delightful. There is a huge variety of teas to choose from and the food was wonderful, especially the scones. The owner very graciously welcomed us and the service was perfect. Everyone there seemed to be having a wonderful time. Although my husband was the only man there, he thoroughly enjoyed it and would be happy to go back again! I would encourage everyone to check it out for a little relaxation time in a wonderful atmosphere.

My Daughter and I stopped in for Tea recently and were so impressed with the entire operation of the Tea House! It is decorated beautifully, the service was superb, and the food was delicious.

We each had our choice of pots of tea - and there were numerous delicious teas to choose from.

Our food was prepared and presented in just the right way. The SCONES were absolutely amazing with the special spreads to apply. YUMMY.

It was a delightful time spent in delightful surroundings and we can't wait to return!

Dear Tea Friends,
Thank you so very much for taking time to let others know about your experience in our tea room. Your words are encouraging to us. A tea room is solely supported by tea room lovers. We feel truely honored when you think of us to bring in a friend for her birthday; or a granddaughter for a job well done on her report card, a new baby, a bride to be, a father/daughter day out, or celebrating victory over an illness. Whatever your story, we are here for you and we thank you for supporting us!

Blessings,

I hosted my daughter's 4th Birthday party at Petticoats & Petit Fours Tea Room with the Pretty n Pink party. The experience was breath taking as the girls got to dress up, play, and have tea. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food looked fabulous, as well as tasted delicous, the decorations were beautiful. I was so pleased with the experience that I do not know just what to say to sum it all up. It was a delightful day. It was so much fun for the little girls, as well as fun for the mothers to watch their little girls at tea. The party and the staff exceeded all of my expectations for what the party would be. I would recommend this party for any girl who loves to dress up and have tea parties.

I have been to your tea room several times and each time has been wonderful. It is a great place to relax and unwind, like stepping back in time to a quieter and slower time. My friend, Delore have enjoyed all of our visits there, especially when we don our hats.
The food, service and ambience is always delightful and we enjoy our chats with Michelle. Simply put
Petticoats & Petit Fours is a great place to go. They have great food and a large selection of great teas
The Lady Elizabeth is what we usually have, just enough to eat but everyone should try the full tea
for a real treat. Keep up the good work Leslie.

Me and several of my girlfriends needed a day of fun girly stuff! :)
The Tea Room was absolutely amazing and perfect! We had SO much fun... We came in and they took us to our reserved table and thats where the fun began! The house is extraordinary and the work that Leslie (owner) has put into it really shows her heart and love for what she does. We were able to dress up with hats, gloves, jewelry and sit around and laugh, drink tea, and eat for 2 hours! I reccommend Petticoats and Petit Fours Tea Room to any woman that needs a 'DAY AWAY!'
