Variety: My 2 girls and husband accompanied me today for a wonderful afternoon tea. The girls loved the little pots and cups they were given. My husband and I both enjoyed the new vanilla coconut tea. We will be back very soon. Truly a hidden treasure! |

Variety: My girlfriend and I first tried to visit this tearoom in the summer. It was closed to the public because of a party. We finally made it back there in November and it was well worth the wait. It was a fun, relaxing atmosphere. The service was very nice and accommodating. The tea choices were wonderful and the food was excellent. We went for breakfast and I can't wait to go back for lunch. |

Variety: My daughter and I enjoy going to the Pickwick Society. The atmosphere is cute and very comfortable. It's a nice way to spend a quiet relaxing afternoon. Most recently I hosted a baby shower there for my daughter. Having the shower there was just as nice as a regular afternoon visit. The service is great and the staff is wonderful. The guests really enjoyed learning about tea. |

Variety: My daughter and I love the Pickwick. The atmosphere is cozy and quaint, exactly what I expect for a tea room. The teas and food are delicious. The heirloom tasting cookies are mouth watering alone. The onwers and staff are friendly and gracious. I find myself making plans to return before I have finished my pot of tea. The Yuppy versions of a tea room can not hold a candle to the Pickwick Society. |

Variety: My 8 year old daughter Samantha and i went to have lunch at the pickwick society teahouse and it was wonderful...the food was excellent, the service was great... so friendly and welcoming. I had Jo's plate...delish, and my daughter loved that she was able to select her own sandwich, 2 sides, and a desert...the raspbery lemonade shaken...was so nummy.. Samantha says ' i liked it alot.' I would highly recommend this place for an outing..Well worth it |

Variety: If there was a higher rating then excellent, I would give it to the Pickwick Society tearoom. We have always had a pleasant experience on our numerous visits. They serve whole leaf tea with tremendous variety. The staff is all knowledgeable about the various types of tea served. The food positively compliments the teas and is always fresh and delicious. The tea room is adorned with all sorts of interesting and tasteful decor, all of which is for sale. However, what makes this tearoom unique from others I have visited, is the staff. The owner and all her hostesses make your experience one in a million. You feel as if you are visiting the gracefully appointed home of an old friend...whether it is your first time there or your 30th. I highly reccommend the Pickwick Society Tearoom to any tea afficianado, or anyone wanting a peaceful afternoon to visit with a friend. |

Variety: Being a tea 'nut' I never miss the opportunity to sample a tea house. The Pickwick is the greatest. The scones & tiny tea sandwiches rival those served at High Tea at the Grand Floridian. The atmosphere, the menu with its 'little Women' names for offerings, and pleasant service is top drawer. |

Variety: I am 6 years old. The tearoom is very fun. You get your own small teapot and cup that you can pour yourself. The 'tea lady--Cindy' and the other ladies treat us very nice. They always make me happy when I go there. I always order the same food (toasted cheese sandwiches) because it is so yummy. There is a plastic tea set and plastic food for younger kids to play with while they are waiting. If your children go there they will have a million fun. |

Variety: While on a visit from New York to relatives in the area,I found Pickwick Society Tearoom. My husband, brother and I had a wonderful lunch and I made a reservation for an afternoon tea on the day before Mother's Day. Dawn gave a pleasant talk about the teas that were available. It was an outstanding afternoon. I highly recommend this friendly, happy tearoom. |

Variety: We visited today for a lingering lunch tea and had a delightful time. We had the small porch to ourselves (it holds one table only) and were able to sit and chat at our leisure while eating the wonderful soup, eating the intersting and tasty sandwiches, and finally stuffing ourselves with the sweets. |

Variety: This is a GREAT tea room and the service was wonderful. I loved getting little education about tea and some of the history and process of tea. The tea was wonderful and the atmosphere quaint and peaceful. If I lived in Illinois, I would make sure to frequent this charming place often. |

Variety: As for the tea choices i am earl grey all the way but the people i brought all enjoy'd the varied choices offered. I was able to bring the great-granddaughters this past Christmas and they enjoyed themselves so much i have gotten calls to find out when they can go again. With the kid friendly sandwiches, seperate small pots of hot chocolate with both whipped cream and marshmellows and choice of pastry (cookie, brownie) they loved the food. They were treated with the same courtesy and politeness as any adult. As always i would reccomend this tea room to anyone. |

Variety: My friend and I wanted to get together to catch up and have a nice lunch. We chose the Pickwick Society Tearoom. The choice could not have been better. From the moment we walked in we felt relaxed and welcomed. We had chosen to order the full tea and what a fabulous experience. The owner came to chat with us and she was soft spoken and very informative. She explained the tea and the menu. We had delicious soup, scones to die for, hot and cold sandwiches that could not be finished and deserts we actually brought home.(Except for maybe a lttle taste!) The tea was out of this world!!! My friend and I sat and visited for over two hours. The wait staff came to check on us, refilled the tea, and encourage us to stay until we were ready to leave. We have decided to try and have a visit and tea every couple of months. No stress, no rushing, just a great place to go to truly have a lovely afternoon!! Thanks for doing this for us! |
