Variety: Ten of us celebrated two birthdays with a private tea in the magnificent Promont House Museum. The food, all homemade was great and the Ashby's Christmas spice tea wonderful. This was a wonderful, fun way to celebrate with friends. Many in our group have commented on how delightful the tea and tour of Promont was. |

Variety: On Thurs. Nov. 19th the 'Liberty Belles' (a red hat group) visited Promont House Museum for lunch/tea. We were greeted by Sue the docent as we entered the front door. We had a wonderful lunch prepared fresh & the Christmas spiced tea hit the spot. The food was very tasty. The ladies were very gracious. This was our first visit & hopefully not the last. It was very interesting to hear the history of this wonderful home on the hill. I will certainly recommend it to my friends. All of us really enjoyed the day. Another plus is we were not rushed. It was a most pleasant experience. Thank you from the 'Liberty Belles' for taking such good care of us. You ladies are the best. |

Variety: Our women's group from Montgomery Presbyterian Church went to the Promont Inn for a Sunday Luncheon. The food was delisious, all homemade and presented beautifully! We had their special Christmas Tea - very flavorful and pefct for a cool fall afternoon. This tearoom is a must for anyone interested in fine dining, persoanl service, with a histroical backgound. The tour by our docent was informative, learning about the beautiful 1865 home, its architecture, and the people who lived there. |

Variety: Recently, members of the Milford Garden club and their guests enjoyed a summertime luncheon at Promont House Museum. It was a lovely day to relax in the calm, friendly atmosphere of the historic home. The ladies who served us made us feel so welcome and comfortable. They had set the tables with beautiful linens and pretty dishes, and served one delicious course after another. We were especially touched by the kind gift of photos taken in 1938 of earlier members of the Milford Garden Club. We really had a nice time! |

Variety: Milford Progress Club (a ladies' club dating from 1894) met yesterday at Promont and had a most elegant experience! The gazpacho, quiche, spinach & strawberry salad, key lime pie, and ginger peach tea were not only delicious, but so beautifully presented. I especially loved the salad served in a red cabbage leaf bowl! The vintage linens included a crocheted teapot-shaped coaster for the water glass. The table was set with fresh flowers. The volunteer servers were charming and efficient. Promont is a jewel in Milford's crown, made all the more special with the teas! |

Variety: I was at the tea on March 12, 2009 with my Red Hat Chapter from Mason, OH. This was our second time there and both times the food was good, presented very nicely, the servers were friends and knowledgeable about the house itself as well as what was served to us. The tour following the tea was wonderful..I even climbed the steps to the tower both times. Pretty good for a 70 + Red Hatter. The home was lovely in March but the decorations at Christmas time are a 'must see'...by men as well. And- don't miss the Gift Shop! |

Variety: I can't say enough about the beautiful English tea given at Promont House. The house, is of course, a jewel in our crown. The English tea we shared on May 2, 2009 was scrumptious, beautifully & served in a comfortable, friendly manner. Thank you so much for a day I'll never forget. The |

Variety: Taking my daughter and granddaughter to the Spring Open Tea at Promont House was a delightful experience. The tea sandwiches included asparagus and cheese roll and open faced cucumber stars and the sweets were incredibly rich. Tea was replenished regularly and our tablemates fun and friendly. |
