I took my Mother and daughter to Protea for the afternoon Royal Gardner Tea. It was a great experience: the food was delicious and plentiful, the service impeccable, the loose-leaf tea extensive and a lovelly atmosphere. The staff is attentive to every detail. I recommend Protea to anyone looking for an elegant tea experience.

An absolutely elegant parlor with fantastic food, tea and service. The loose leaf tea selection is fabulous with blacks, oolongs, herbals, rooibos and greens. The Afternoon Tea is an absolute delight with an incredible selection of delectable English scones, a variety of finger sandwiches and yummy desserts! For an unforgettable experience, visit Protea Cottage. My expectations were exceeded.

Best Afternoon Tea! Better than the Biltmore in LA! It is truely a treasure! The Tea Parlor was fanastic and the shop was a wonderful adventure! It is must in SLC!

On a recent visit to Salt Lake City, I discovered this real gem nestled in Gardner Village, West Jordan.
My tea was brewed perfectly, the scones were delicious, and the owner, Shandre, very knowledgeable.
I will definitely be coming back.
