Truly a Victorian Experience. The house opened Mother's Day Weekend 2010.
The R. L. Wilson House is located in the Historic District of Noblesville, Indiana just south of S.R.32. Noblesville was nominated as one of the "Best Small Towns" in America. This town is full of charm and historic buildings especially on the Town Square.
It has taken 3 years to renovate this wonderful home to what we have today. The interior of the home is beautifully decorated with antiques and period furniture. Each room has its own uniqueness and its own name. The grounds have over 700 plants bushes and bulbs in a pink palette scheduled to bloom through the spring, summer and fall seasons. The R.L. Wilson House was built in 1864 and is on the National Registry of Historic Houses. We received the "Community Pride Award" from the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce in May of 2010. We were also honored to receive the Enterprise Award for Excellence in the Renovation/Construction category from the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce in October. Thank you Noblesville Preservation Alliance for awarding us with the Josiah Durfee Award last week. This is a very coveted award among historians and preservationists. This is given for excellence and for a significant project that has a very strong impact on the community. Very proud to have received this award.
Specially Themed Teas will be offered throughout the year. We pair loose-leaf or pyramid bagged teas with the themed teas. Individual infused bags are also available such as Egyptian Mint, Earl Grey, green and many more. I personally like herb, and roolibos teas. Each table will have its own table-scape with various bone china, crystal, silver and eclectic accessories. Beverages are served in Silver Tea Pots or cold servers. Desserts are served on tiered trays. We will also will have special events such as our Valentines Romantic Dinner for Two. Spring is almost here! The Mad Hatter Tea will be a fabulous day!!! Be a kid again, have fun, rejoice in spring!! Wear a hat, laugh, this will be a talked about tea. Reserve now as we are almost full!!!
Parties can be scheduled anytime for groups of 12 or more. Our phone number is: 317-770-9399 We pride ourselves in serving fresh, made from scratch, and seasonal food. We grow our own herbs for use in our recipes. Heavenly Sweets owns and operates the R. L. Wilson house and has been voted "Best Fancy Cakes" by Indianapolis Monthly and Named in Indianapolis Dine as one of the best chefs for desserts. Along with wonderful cakes we have all butter scones, moist banana bread, homemade preserves, devon cream, lemon curd, strawberry soup, dressings, etc.
We also have a gift shop with antiques, Haviland and other fine china, tea cups, tea pots, linens and tea to purchase.
The next big event will be our Christmas Holiday Extravaganza Teas on December 3rd and 10th. Check out our website: www.HeavenlySweetsCakes.com

Variety: How sad when traditions change. Christmas Season started when we put up the tree after Thanksgiving. Now our Christmas Season starts with The Wislon House Christmas Tea. What a wonderful way to start the season. Exceptional decor, wonderful teas; delightful, friendly service - how can it get any better? But Wilson House surpasses each past tea. The sandwiches were delicious, the teas- hot, fragrant and delightful to the nose and taste. As always the deserts were to die for - pleasing to the eye, and delicious to the taste. What an incredible experience in such a beautiful home. Joyce and I thank you so much for a wonderful tea Saturday. |

Variety: I hosted a bridal shower tea party at the R.L. Wilson House for my best friend. The atmosphere was a delightfully traditional. Heavenly Sweets Cakes presented us with superior quality tea (Wild Encounter), food selections, and services during our party. I would highly recommend this location for a private party and would book another party myself with out hesitation. |

Variety: My mother and I attended the mother's day tea. We were both very impressed and had a wonderful experience. The house itself is beautiful and decorated true to it's style and time period. Very traditional> table deocrations were pretty floral. The food was elegant and of course the cake is the best in town. The service is excellent, it was such a treat. Tea served was a citrus chamomile, mild and very smooth and paired well with the first courses. A berry blend was served with desert, full and sweet. Both were prepared perfectly. We had attended the Mad Hatter tea in March and enjoyed it so much we came back for mother's day- we were not disappointed! |

Deaf Red Hatters attended Mad Hatter tea party. It was a blast! Very colorfully and tasetefully done. The decorations are awesome to make us feel we were in the Alice in the Wonderland. Servers and consumers were dressed in character. Mad Hatter gave me an autograph,' How dreadfully awful it was to meet you! Mad Hatter! He did a wonderful job being the host of this awesome tea party. Food were sooo delicious. We ate Cheshire Cat! It was actually called Cheshire Cat Apple and Peanut Butter Grins as a second course.
