Thank you for your support and fabulous reviews. We have enjoyed getting to know all of you over the last year. Unfortunately, we have to close our tea room. The current state of the economy and demands from our families forces this decision. Again, thank you for your support.

Variety: Wonderful food and ambience! I was part of a Red Hat group of 12. This is one of the best tea experiences I have had. The service was wonderful-Tara was by herself and wondefully accomodating! The tables were beautifully set and all the food was wonderful! Everything was presented beautifully and the macaroni and cheese is to die for! Our group has already decided to hold our Christmas Party there. A wonderful experience!!! |

Variety: The Lake Elsinore Da Vinci Academy was delighted to treat it's staff to a delicious and memorable Teacher's Appreciation Tea! The food was delicious and the portions are always more than ample. Three Cheers for the delightful owners and their talents. |

Variety: I went with friends and liked the ladies very much. But...there were several things I didn't like. The tea was unsteeped when it came to the table and by the time it had steeped it was COLD! They don't use warmers and I like my tea very hot. The food was very good....almost too rich for tea, but I'm not complaining. I was a little alarmed to see that there was no letter in the window to indicate that they are inspected and qualified by the health department to serve food, which they most certainly do. Kinda strange, but then maybe tea rooms don't have to do that? |

Tearoom Response
Dear Tea Drinkin Diva... Thank you so much for your review. I would like to address your concerns... Yes, we do bring the tea to your table unsteeped. This is because we make it fresh when you order it. It steeps at your table. It only takes 5 minutes or so to steep and it is still hot at that point. If it was cold when you were ready to drink it, it would have been nice for you to tell us. We would have been happy to warm it for you. (We do not serve tea VERY HOT, I'm sure you've heard of the McDonald's incident?) Thank you for your compliment about our food. Our food is catered into the tea room and not prepared on site because it is a historical building and we are not allowed to renovate it and install a commercial kitchen. And yes we do have a rating with the County of Riverside Environmental Services. It is 'A'. We use high quality ingredients and everything we serve is made by us. Again, thank you for your review. We look forward to your next visit. -Denise and Tyra, Proud owners of Rebecca's Garden Tea Room at The Chimes |

Variety: We just had lunch at this beautiful tea room. We didn't have a reservation, but popped in hoping we could be seated. Luckily, there was space and we were treated to the most exquisite tea luncheon I have ever had. Thank you girls for your hospitality. I will be back. The decor was cute, the service was great and the food was amazing. |

Variety: We had a large party (shower) and the attention to detail you gave was amazing. All 25 of our guests felt spoiled and special at the end of the event. The food was delicious and the china is so beautiful. I have never seen so many patterns. Even down to the water goblets. Wow! I can't say enough good things about our party. We will return as soon as possible. Denise and Tyra are the best hostesses I have ever met at a tea room. Great job ladies and may God continue to bless you. |

Variety: I have been to tea rooms all over the country and Rebecca's ranks among the best ever. The food is fabulous. It is so comfortable and relaxed like being at home. We didn't want to leave. There were several little girls there with their moms. They were well behaved and the attention you gave them was great. Thank you ladies for a great time! |

Variety: What a wonderful experience. The food was great and the service was wonderful. It's the first tea room that I have been to that I left with a doggie bag. What amazing scones. I didn't get dessert, but I couldn't have eaten it if I wanted too. God Bless you lovely tea room and we will be back. |

Variety: I brought my daughter's in law and friend for a Mother's Day tea this year. We had a GREAT time. They absolutely loved it, and it was their first real 'tea' experience and all want to do it again. You are amazing women, and couple it with what you were going through with your Mom, makes it even more incredible. Your love of life, and humor makes this tea room a special visit. If you are looking for a place where you feel like you just met your best friends, look no further........Rebecca's is it. My condolences to your family. But remember your Mom lives on in everyone who taste's her scones. See you soon. Cheryl LaPorte |

Variety: Mother's Day ... What a wonderful experience. Thank you girls. The new sandwiches were amazing. The fresh scones as always were wonderful. I love the peach. It was so nice to see you so busy and everyone was talking, laughing and enjoying the ambiance! Thank you for the beautiful bracelet. What a grand surprise. We now will know who was at the First Annual Mother's Day Tea. See you next year girls (and of course a few times in between). I'm looking forward to the next event...'Hat Show'. You girls are something else. See you soon. |

Variety: A few months ago friends treated me to tea at Rebecca's and the experience was totally delightful in every way,Today I treated three friends for tea and the experience I must asy was totally dreadful. The server's every other words were 'you guys', her white apron was really dirty and service very very slow. Tea was served in unattractive plain white coffee pots. My Darhjeeling (which she pronounced as Daling) was encased in some sort of muslin wrap in hot water which I tried to squeeze to get more flavor from the tea but to no avail. The tea sandwiches were overstuffed and tastless. I will say that the scones were hot and very good. After about twenty minutes of waiting (we were the only ones in the restaurant)the tea was served to two of us and of course we waited for the other two po... (more) |
