Variety: I absolutely love Sarabella Cafe and Tea Room. I eat here at least once a week to every other week. They catered my little girls 1st Birthday party this year and I used the tea room to throw my sister a Bridal Shower. We are also having another Birthday party there this December. The staff are sooo nice and welcoming. They take care of everything for you like decorating for a shower or making the food have a beautiful presentation even if it is catered. I don't really drink hot tea but their Iced Peach and Iced Mango teas are both wonderful. I haven't had anything that was bad from there. All of the food is amazing. I would recommend Sarabella's to anybody. |

Variety: My family and I held my aunt and uncle's 50th wedding anniversary at Sarabella's. We could not have been more pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. We had many people from out of town and everyone commented on how great the food was and what a good atmosphere Sarabella's has. It allowed us to mingle and visit with each other while the very competent and capable staff took care of everything else for us. Two thumbs up! I will definitely use Sarabella's the next time I need to host a baby or bridal shower! |

Variety: Sarabellas's is by far the best tea room I have ever came across. The food is so mouth watering. I highly recomend the TAP sandwich to those you who have never eaten one. You dont know what your missing. Everytime I go I feel comfortable and at home. It has a very warm and inviting surrounding. The service is great and they always wear a smile. I have never asked for a refill at sarabella's. They are very polite and always right there when you need them. The food doesnt take long at all and is never sloppy. sarabella's is most definatly my favorite tea room and cafe. They will always have my vote. |

Variety: My three sisters and I wanted a special place to celebrate out mom's birthday and this was PERFECT. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the attention we received, the food was so delicious, and i personally enjoyed the broccoli salad and chick salad. Execellent and highly recommended. We were greeted graciously, service was exceptional, and we are looking forward to our next visit. Tuscaloosa is indeed fortunate to have such a beautiful place to enjoy 'girly' time. We laughed, relaxed, and were pampered wonderfully. Thank you so much ladies for a memorable and superb birthday. I am sure we will enjoy many more there. |

Variety: The five women of our family have been celebrating each of our birthdays in various tea rooms in Alabama and other states for several years now. The tea room birthday party has become a most treasured tradition for us, and we are very particular about our experience, especially the tea and scones. We think Sarabella is one of the best tea rooms we have been to! When we called to make our first reservation, the restaurant had been open only a short time. We told Sarah what we wanted (a British-style high tea)and we got much more than we expected! A proper tea list was presented and we each the loose tea of our choice, served in individual tea pots with cream, sugar cubes, and lemon. British tradition also was observed in the serving of the food, all of which was homemade and just to die ... (more) |

Tearoom Response
I know how special your tradition is of celebrating eachothers Birthdays at Tea Rooms. I'll never forget your first visit here last year! We hope to see you again for many more! Sarah Smith |

Variety: I would like to touch on a few points mentioned in a previous post. Since I am part of the kitchen staff, I feel that I should. We do have laminated printed tea lists. However, each day we feature a flavored iced tea and a hot tea - sometimes two. Most of our customers ask the server their suggestions so we like to share our favorites. Sometimes the server may forget the bring the list to the table so we have decided to place one on all tables for the day. We have been open over a year and still learn things every day. We do offer preserves with scones upon request and Sarah would be thrilled to make you some lemon curd if you ask before your visit. I have seen Sarah whip up fudge tarts, lemon buttercream cake or prepare a certain soup just because someone called ahead. In fact, we have a ... (more) |

Variety: I ate lunch with my sisters at Sarabella's recently. We absolutely loved it. The food was fabulous. I had the salad trio with chicken salad, pasta salad, and broccoli salad (the best). Their peanut butter pie was incredible and the scone of the day (cranberry and white chocolate) was also amazing. I would go back just for the wonderful food. However, if you are expecting a traditional tea room, you may be a little disappointed. Our server did not give us a tea menu... she told us the options verbally upon my request. I would love for the cafe to have a printed tea menu at each table (this may be available but was not offered to us). When our teapots arrived, they were accompanied by granulated sugar. Traditionally, tea is served with an accompanying bowl of sugar cubes an... (more) |

Variety: My wife and I travel regularly and found Sarabella's Cafe & Tea Room a breath of fresh air! We search for quaint 'out of the way' places that provide local flavor to the community. Sarabella's fits the image. Great food (especially the Broccoli Salad), friendly quick to help waitress staff, excellent peach tea and great atmosphere for relaxation. Tuscaloosa you're lucky! |

Tearoom Response
I really enjoyed working with you and your mother, hope to see you again soon.Sarah |

Variety: Wow!!!!! This is one amazing little treasure from the tearoom to the owner and her family. Tomato basil soup is out of this world. Then lose yourself in Sara's peanut butter pie. Some of the biggest smiles you will find. I would recommend this place to everyone I see, especially at the upcoming Food and Wine Festival in South Beach, Florida. |

Variety: Sarabella's is the most wonderful place that I have ever been to. I live in CT and traveled to AL for vacation. We pondered upon this quaint tea room, simply on accident. I will surely make a point to return to this lovely state and wonderful hidden treasure like Sarabella's... The Choice of Tea is like no other. I am a avid tea room goer and will make a point to travel over 1000 miles to return! I must add that the chess squares are like a bit of heaven. Give it a try I promise you'll want to return too. |
