Scarlet Tea Room & Fine Dining

Clare and I recently enjoyed tea here. Shawn was outstanding and the food was prepared excellently. The ambiance was outstanding. To be able to select 4 sandwiches from 15 is very unique in tea rooms, but the selections we made were outstanting. The only disappointment we had was tea wasn't served in bone china cups and believe us it makes a difference. Although we're 150 miles away, we'll return again.

I just discovered this late night tea spot on Green Street. What a lovely surprise! The decor was classy and the service friendly. I had a mini tea with chocolate chip scones, sides of cream, lemon curd, and strawberry jam, and a pot of Mademoiselle Grey (Earl Grey with rose petals). Yum! I will have to come back for dinner and the full tea ceremony.

Very posh, but comfortable. The servers really cater to you. The food is the best I've had in any tearoom ever!!! (and I've been to many). The best scones and the most amazing special scarlett tea room cream and lemon curd. The sandwiches are fresh and tasty, great variety and very unique. A must visit!!!!

ATTENTION ATTENTION BEFORE YOU MAKE ANY PLANS FOR AN EVENT IN THIS PLACE READ!!,February 28th was my daughter baby shower at scarlet Tea room which I was giving to my daughter as a gift by me, first time when i went there to talk to the owner for the baby shower and based on our conversation with owner Karen everything seemed to be going smooth, and very professional. they told us on the event day after two oclock they were not gonne have any customer and the entire place was supposed to be reserved for us only.Our guest were going to arive by three oclock but when we walked in at 2:20 to prepare the place, the tea room was full of customers and they didn't set any tables for our guests. we had 53 guest and at same time they continued on accepting more customers, when we told the manager... (more) about our event she was shocked and she did not know anything about it. she tried to keep in touch with the other manager Danika, but she didn't answer phone,base on my conversation three days before the baby shower I confirmed everything from time,food,cake,and everything with danika but it seems I was talking to my self not her, when my guestes arrived at the place from 3;00 to 3;30 they were left to stand while their tables were being set. Overall service was disaster and Iam not recommend any one to have any event in that place unless you want kaos!!

LOVE IT! My friend and I pick a new tea house from this site to try every other month. It's our regular girlie get together. Scarlet tea room has the BEST sandwiches we've had! The Brie, Walnut, and Watercress was out of this world good. The tea was perfect. I had a Hawaiian sounding black tea. The scones were awesome although I wish they would use real tradition devonshire cream and not whipped cream. The lemon curd was perfect though. The strawberry romanoff was WOW! We sat there for about 2 hours enjoying the atmosphere and the cheery server. The tea room is gorgeous and is not stuffy or old ladyish like most tea rooms. It's very elegant and trendy. We will definitly be back!

I've been going to Scarlet Tea Room for few years already and have managed to take a handful of friends and relatives to experience and enjoy the beautiful tea room and the exceptional service. I love the hidden setting, Karen who always entertains my mother and I, the pianist who plays oldies but goodies, and the entire friendly team. I've gone there with many friends, have had occassions there but above it all this is a saturday afternoon tea getaway from my mom and I. Thanks Scarlet for the years of wonferful memories you've given us!!

I Loved the Scarlet Tea room! My husband surprised me with Valentines Day tea here and indeed it was a pleasant surprise. The decor was fab and the service-incredible. The only thing I could say is that it was very busy and noisy at first-of course it was Valentines day. I loved the piano, as it added to the ambiance-very relaxing. The tea sandwiches were definitely gourmet. Five stars!

Because of the rainy weather forecast, my friends cancelled lunch,and my husband hesistantly filled in for them! Rey and I had such a nice tea luncheon...the teas were so flavorful, the fresh baked scones melted in your mouth! And the tea sandwiches were so tasty! For almost two hours you forgot about the hustle and bustle with the outside! Tea has such a calming effect! But, most of all we had one of the nicest servers...her name was Rebecca, and she truly made this a wonderful experience! Oh, and my husband said, that he would come back! Thank you Rebecca!!

This is by far one of my favorite places to enjoy tea. Everything here is perfect from the service to the food. It's a huge plus that the decor isn't the typical dusty, over crowded Victorian garb. I can't wait to visit again!
