Variety: The tea was good, the food left a lot to be desired. Too much sweet and meat, not enough vegetable offerings. The side salads which came with the meal all seemed sweetened to me. And I admit a real preference for a smaller tea cup, where as this was more mug style. (Did have a saucer and a lovely design. ) The staff was very friendly. |

Variety: The tea was good but the food was very bad, salads sweet when they should have been savory, tasted like they were from a can. Service, polite but lacking. they brought out food and we had to ask for silverware. Would drink tea there but do not recommend the food. |

Tearoom Response
Kathy,Sorry you did not enjoy your visit. We had been busy and had not had time to re-set the tables. The side salads that you had were meant to be sweet and I can assure you, they did not come from a can. I hope you had a nice time in Nashville this week-end. Do try us again the next time you are in the area. Thanks for visiting our tea room Linda |

The “Scarlet” name intrigued me at once because I knew it must be in homage to Margaret Mitchell’s 1936 classic, “Gone With the Wind.” We arrived for tea at high noon with large appetites and high expectations. We fell in love with this delightful Tea Room the second we walked through the door. The “Gone With the Wind” ambiance transported us to a time long forgotten. How could us ladies not help going weak at the knees besides the man... (more) |

Rebecca, Thank you for such a beautiful review! Without lovely ladies like yourself and your daughters, we too would be 'Gone With the Wind'! We look forward to the day you return to Nashville! Thanks again! Linda

Variety: I really enjoyed this tea room! The owner was extremely nice and welcoming as was the waitress. There was a wonderful selection of tea sandwiches that were delicious! |
