This has been a dream of mine for quite some time . . . to serve good food at a leisurly pace to family & friends without being hurried or rushed, taking the time to enjoy each others company.
Whether it be a special occasion such as a birthday, bridal or baby shower, or just a nice get-together, we can make a delightful celebration for up to 16 people. A minimum gathering of five please.
We can create a menu to your liking. It is important to me that I serve the freshest food that is locally grown. I shop our Farmer�s Markets and purchase from our local farmers. I cook from scratch and use organic whenever possible.
The price will depend on the menu desired.

Food: Six of us gals from Canton, Michigan who do water aerobics all summer together decided to celebrate ourselves by going to Secluded Celebrations for lunch. We were met at the door by Grit (short for Margaret) who made us a delicious hot lunch with a wonderful tea to accompany each of our food courses -- we had Peace tea, Pumpkin tea, Chocolate Raspberry Truffle and then Creme Brule tea with our dessert. After lunch and before our dessert, we walked her beautiful gardens. We totally enjoyed our day and tea room experience. Grit is not only a great chef, but welcoming hostess. You must visit and experience total beauty and relaxation along with all the wonderful food and teas and don't forget to purchase your favorite tea to take home with you too. |

Food: Grit makes everyone feel at home while she stuffs us to the top with five courses of wonderful, fresh lunch. We watched the hummers visit her beautiful gardens outside the window. Even the trip out to her place is beautiful and relaxing. |

Food: Secluded Celebrations is a wonderful place to go to feel pampered, to enjoy delicious artistically presented food, to see beautiful landscaping, to savor tantalizing tea, and to be entertained. The value of what we received far surpassed what we were charged! We want to go back just to try other menu items! Everything was “par excellent”! Grit had special touches in everything she did and we enjoyed her great humor! We want other friends to join us and experience the wonder of “Secluded Celebrations”! |

Food: Can't wait to go again. . . food was wonderful (and much more than I expected) . . . the setting was secluded (my friends and I were the only ones in the room) . . . Grit's service was above and beyond my expectations . . . she is the reason I would go again!!! Loved the food, loved the decor, loved the grounds tour and love the hostess. |
