Overview

SensibiliTeas is a retail tea shop with over 500 teas. Within the collection are over 350 organic teas, many of which are fair-trade and/or biodynamic. Tea preparation tools of all kinds. Feel free to ask any question about tea at any time. We feel it to be our responsibility to ''fit you to a tea''.
Loose leaf tea can be as easy as bag tea, and is certainly far better tasting. Stop in and see what it's like to 'Get loose and think outside the bag'.

I've been buying loose-leaf tea and tea paraphernalia at Sensibiliteas since it opened, and I have never been disappointed with the tea or with the service. Donna is a font of information about all of her amazing varieties of tea, and her staff is extremely well-trained. They're willing to mix varieties if you request it (I'm particularly fond of mixing lime-ginger rooibus, lemon myrtle, and tulsi; wonderful hot or cold with a slice of lime). Its location in the eclectic Shirt Factory is a definite plus!

Started buying tea here early in 2009 and am lucky to have a shop like this close to home. From the huge selection of tea to the numerous supplies SensibiliTeas has everything you could ever want! Great gifts and I'm pretty sure they ship items too! My favorite: Lemon Myrtle!

This is a great tea shop. When I asked for something the owner didnt not have it in Stock. She picked up the phone and called another shop and asked if they had it. She gave her own business to another store, just to help me out. That says alot. Great store

The best tea shop I have ever seen. I have not purchased any store brand tea since visiting this tea shop. The variety of teas offered is like no where else I have ever seen. The service always with a smile. The knowledge is each tea is exceptional. Tea shopping at this shop is an outing I always look forward to.

Love this place! Biggest tea collection I've ever seen in one place. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are located on the first floor of the Shirt Factory - an awesome place by itself full of unique little shops and artist studios. Definitely worth a visit.

I can't imagine anyone talking down about this great local shop and it's owner. She has always been more then welcoming to me and the friends and family I bring in. Very knowledgable and always remembers me by name and always recalls my favorite teas!

The best tea shop I have ever been to, in all of my travels! I always try to track down tea in the places I live/visit but I still keep coming back to Sensibiliteas. While the store could definitely benefit from a better website, I have never had any trouble with online ordering, and love visiting in person as well. Always friendly and a huge selection, even the part time staff have amassed quite an extensive knowledge of tea to recommend or create a custom blend. Great prices as well. Love love love!!!!!

My family loves this tea store! Our kids and their friends have grown up on this tea. Locally owned and operated this store is a gem in our community. Now if there were only some lemon scones to go with that tea.......

I've been buying my tea from Donna from the day she opened Sensibiliteas. I love shopping there the quality and variety of teas she offers (though I have to admit, after all these years, I have settled in I'm my favorites:
Earl Grey Bravo
Lady Myrtle Grey
Victorian Earl Grey
Lilac
Constant Compliment
Vanilla Chai Rooibus

I drink them hot and also make a half-gallon of iced tea from them nearly ever day, year round!

Donna and her staff are a dream to shop with: friendly and knowledgeable! If you're in a hurry, call ahead and your order will be ready for you to pick up when you arrive!

I love this tea shop!! The staff are friendly and knowledgable. They know exactly where their teas come from, what makes them special, and how to match my nebulous desire to try something new to the new, perfect cup of tea. They will do custom blends, or hook you up with one of hundreds of delicious & cleverly named brews. Lots of fun bits and bobs are also available in-store. They are slightly pricier than similar items on amazon, but the difference is far less than average shipping & my dollars stay in the community. They support several local charities with in-store tips and work really hard to give back to the community. A serious committment to the local community and the health & welfare of staff & customers set this local business apart from other shops you might use.

SensibiliTeas is without a doubt my favorite tea shop. The service is outstanding and I look forward to trying the new combinations Donna creates. She is always willing to custom blend a tea to meet my needs, too, which I appreciate. Her shop is always on my list for gift shopping, it's easy to put together a great gift with all of the tea accessories she carries.

Sensibiliteas is a very quaint tea shop tucked into an artists den! It's location is a renovated factory building housing many studios and even a sandwich shop.
I have gone there for many years and have valued the owners intense knowledge about the vast variety of organic teas she sells. She has given me sage advice (pun intended!) on what teas work best for what health issues I my be dealing with. I have been able to improve my health and well being through her delicious teas.
The staff is both kind and knowledgable. This isn't your average tea shop. It's a place to shop for your health or a unique gift for someone special!

I love this tea shop and am very grateful to have this locally. I have always found the people there friendly and willing to help. There is a large selection of loose leaf teas,I try something new every time I go. Sensibiliteas is a tea shop. They have green, oolong, white and black. Also has a quite a variety of flavored rooibos and herbal teas. Would definitely be worth a drive to go there and experience the shop as well a the Shirt Factory.

I have been purchasing loose leaf tea and tea related products for my family and as gifts for several years. I am always greeted by a smile and if I am unsure what I want , they know the right teas to fit my physical and mental needs. The teas always brew into delicious hot or iced tea and are enjoyed by all who taste them. The soups that are offered on Saturdays have been scrumptious as well! Wonderful job Kayla and Donna! Both in the shop and all you do to support the community.

I have recommended Sensibiliteas to many people over the years. The loose tea selection is amazing, and the owner and staff have so much knowledge about the benefits of different types of teas. I went in with a sinus infection and walked out with a plan and relief. Great place.

I've been shopping at Sensibiliteas (both in person and online) for almost 8 years. I've always been astounded by the huge selection of teas available. The staff are always knowledgeable and friendly in a quiet way. The prices are reasonable, unlike at some boutique tea shops I've visited elsewhere. The owner prefers to offer teas that haven't been artificially decaffeinated, and instead teaches her customers how to decaf their tea themselves. This is knowledge I still use almost every day. Although I live 40 minutes away from this shop, I prefer it to the one only 10 minutes away - for its selection and more personal service.

I've visited many tearooms over the years.Finding out-of-the-way one is my passion.Sensibilitea is a terrible example. Please don't waste your time.Very hard to reach on the phone & when you do,you'll be met by an unfriendly owner whose tepid, I-could-care-less-about-you attitude spills over into the corners of her shop.
Very unfriendly, unwelcoming, rude.I don't know why they would choose to keep her listed here, there is no tearoom to speak of, They sell loose teas. You'd be much better off buying your tea from an online store than taking all the time to find her, only to be met with no welcome at all.One of the worst this tealover's ever seen.

Tearoom Response
I'm so sorry you feel you had a bad experience, Kiana. I feel your experience is unique to you and therefore you must take some of the responsibility for your experience as well. The only bad experience I recall was with a cat hair-covered 'artist' trying to pass off cheap Chinese jewelry to me as 'expertly handcrafted'. I can't help but believe your review, Kiana, must be related, as it was placed here the same time as Diana's visit. Coincidence? I think not.
Yes, I can be unwelcoming when pushed or lied to.

I hope you find all your tea with someone who can satisfy all your needs. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and allowing me to share mine.

Namaste--
donnalynn
