2 thumbs up and 5 stars to the Serenity Tearoom in Frederick MD! We couldn't have hosted a better bridal tea. Service and ambiance were excllent. Food was scrumptous and elegantly presented. There were approximately 25 ladies present and a good time was had by all. It made for a loving occasion. I whole heartedly recommend Serenity Tearoom. You won't be disappointed!

I came to Frederick Maryland with my husband on a business trip. and while he was at work during the day I did much sight seeing in the area but this by far was the best of my experiences! It was my first time having High Tee and I can not recall when I have had a more relaxing and delightful time. The teas and food were very delicious and the setting is very elegant. Blance, to owner is very personable making me feel right at home! It was a splendid day that I will not soon forget!

This is the best place we have had tea and that includes England and Canada!

My husband and I started taking my Granddaughter 4 years ago when she first came home from college in California. It has now become tradition and she is now finished college and back in the area, so we will be enjoying Blanche's beautiful tea room and service more often.

Attending the Mother's Day Tea at the Serenity Tearoom has become a tradition for my daughter, mother and me. The food was very beautifully prepared and fantastic as usual, we love the butternut squash soup! There are so many tea flavors it's always difficult for us to choose. Blanch is a very warm and friendly person making the day very special for us. We highly recommend either attending one of the special teas (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day or Christmas) or enjoying one of the afternoon teas (afternoon, high or royal) that are available everyday. You won't be disappointed!

I was lucky enough to be a guest of a dear friend (yes a man) for the Mother's day tea. It was a great day and enjoyed the food and tried my first tea which I normally do not drink. The atmosphere was so elegant and the personal attention of the owner Blanche made our day even more special. She took the time to explain all the details of the food and made our day very special. Will certainly go back again!

What a wonderful day! (I want to let you know that MEN can also enjoy this elegant experience - please see the uploaded photo showing my smiling face). The vast selection of teas, the delicious food, and the very personable Blanche and her engaging staff, made this one of the best ways to spend two hours of feeling 'special'. Of particular note, we were awed by the butternut squash soup (we even took a couple of containers home with us). Thank you again, Blanche, for a lovely dining experience. We WILL be back again!

Serenity is the number #1 of all Maryland and Virginia. I have been to many tea rooms searching for the best and THIS IS THE BEST! From the butternut squash soup that was super hot, enjoyed every spoonful of such great flavor. Not be missed! Savories and sweets all created on the premises. Excellent. You are missing a great experience if you not have come here. Should be on your bucket list. The largest selection of teas...the blood orange tea was amazing. The owner is charming and gracious. The supporting staff is knowledgeable and very amiable which made for wonderful service.

The food from soup to savories to sweet meats absolutely elegant. This is the top of the trees in the tea time elegance. The Queen would be impressed. The service and staff above reproach which enhanced our experience. I would rate this AAA+++ not to missed.

My Mom, a friend of mine, and I attended the Christmas Tea on Saturday. It was delicious as usual! We have been patronizing the Serenity Tearoom for quite awhile. Blanch is a wonderful hostess and has become a member of our family as well as the rest of her family. The staff at the Tearoom makes you feel at home and takes very good care of your needs from the preparation of the food, the beautiful presentation and the excellent service. My daughter usually attends the Christmas Tea but due to the weather she couldn't this year and boy, was she disappointed! While the tea, food and atmosphere are all stellar what struck me most was the service. I went with my mom and two aunts. After three visits they knew my aunt by name and asked how her work was going. They even remembered my mom and I from one visit more than a year before. They greeted my other aunt and commented that they were always excited to have a new customer. We will be going back on a regular basis. Perfect for a girls' day out.

5 stars all around for this cozy, polished tearoom. Angel was very knowledgeable regarding the tea selection and helped us make great choices. We received perfectly brewed teas in small plain pots which we then enjoyed drinking from a fantastic variety of cups that the owner has collected over many years ~ beautiful presentation. My cold strawberry soup was outstanding. The finger foods allowed us to taste a variety of textures and flavors that were chosen carefully so that each morsel complements another ~ well balanced. Almost all of the food is prepared fresh, on premises. I highly recommend Serenity.

We loved the selection of teas and the quality of food and drink. The pastries were particularly nice. Service left something to desire. It took a long time to get tea to our table. I think it's the individual pots. I would rather share a large pot (or two) at the table than have to wait so long for all the individual pots. I was also a little put-off by the litany of reasons for potential fees that my credit card risked if any of my friends decided not to show or changed their mind about what they wanted for tea. (You have to make your menu selection in advance.) Although it's probably personal preference, I didn't like the idea of 'seating' times. Having to arrive at a certain hour, receiving slow service and then being rushed out (albeit nicely...with to go cups) took away from the experience. Overall, this was a very nice tea house with superior food/tea quality. With a few tweaks in the service concept it would be a nearly perfect experience.

We love Serenity Tearoom! Blanche, Angel and the other staff at Serenity Tearoom are always pleasant, courteous and very friendly. We recently held my daughter's Bridal Shower at Serenity Tearoom and it was a wonderful experience. All the Shower guests raved about the food, not only was it delicious but the presentation was beautiful. Angel is so talented, she decorated the chocolate covered strawberries in the colors of the Wedding (a bride) for my daughter and tuxedos (in browns & blues) for the rest of the guests. They were adorable! My daughter has been to tearooms all over the world and she says she isn't exaggerating that Serenity Tearoom is 'The Best!'
