I came to the The Tea Room on a ladies weekend outing. My sister in law found The Tea Room online for our trip. The food was delicious and the tea was wonderful. It was just what we needed to start our wonderful weekend trip. The staff was just wonderful.

I hosted a bridal luncheon in late September for my future daughter-in-law, her bridesmaids and several other guests. We could not have been more pleased. The food was delicious, the service excellent and the ambience charming. Not even the sudden downpour could dampen the spirits of our party. Sincere thanks to Rhonda and her staff for a delightful day.

Hi, Honey here ... my husband and I visited this wonderful Tea Room on 9/1/08...that review is posted....
This Tea Trip, the first weekend in May, 09, was with two of my dear friends. We were on a 'girls only' weekend. I had talked so much of this lovely place that we had to come.
It happened to be Derby Day so we wore our hats...too fun
Once again everything was perfect. The food, the service and the shopping.
We are planning another trip.
Thank you Rhonda and your wonderful staff.

My mother, sister, and I so enjoyed our return trip from Pensacola Beach to Memphis because of this beautiful tea room. They have an extensive list of teas--the most I have ever encountered at high teas across the U.S. as well as in Europe. The Old South decor is lovely, the food is delicious and artistically served, and the service is first-class. We plan to return whenever we travel to the Gulf Coast. The gift shop specializes in imports from Ireland and Scotland. Although unplanned, we took advantage of their offerings and purchased a petite Royal Doulton figurine and handpainted linens as gifts. I highly recommend this delightful
tea room for exceptional enjoyment and relaxation. This was the highlight of our entire trip.

About a month ago I visited my sister in Pensacola, FL. We were going on a day trip to do some shopping and sight-seeing in Mobile, AL. I LOVE doing afternoon tea. But, my sister had never been. So we made a point of finding a tearoom near where we were going to be looking around. That is how we discovered this little gem called the Shamrock Rose & Thistle. It is a little hard to find (thank goodness for GPS) which makes it all the more cozy. There is a beautiful garden area (pictured on the TeaMap site) where you can you can sit outside with your afternoon tea and/or walk around and enjoy the garden. The inside is even more lovely. It looks like a classic southern cottage and has different rooms with slightly different themes. We both ordered the Angel Hill Afternoon Tea with the Yorkshire Harrogate tea blend. We were not disappointed. Since we were shopping around anyway, we did walk through their cute little store and found other reasons to return.
