Food: Shamrock, Rose, and Thistle is my must-stop destination when I visit family in Mobile. I have never once been dissatisfied with their wonderful food, tea, or service. I'm absolutely thrilled to see their expansion into later evenings and more and more events, and will continue to return at every opportunity. |

Food: I have to say we came for the first time last saturday afternoon and to be honest we could have stayed all day. The hospitality is second to none. Bill 'Billy' your stories of your time in stanton made us tell you our stories of where originally came from in England. To be able to buy walkers cheese & onion crisps was the cherry on the cake so to speak and as you said it was fish and chip night thursday well guess where we will be tonight??? Bill its your fault you will now have 2 brits camped outside your establishment waiting for it open eveyday!!! Once again I can recommend to everyone Shamrock Rose & Thistle |

For $37 got the equal of half an average sandwich, about one piece of pie, and four tea bags plus some hot water, a few table spoon each of sugar, jam, lemon curd, and two muffin size scones, eight grapes and half an unfold strawberry. Some value! What a markup. I am impressed |

I am sorry that we were not aware of your dissatisfaction. The cost of $37 would be for two people and would include three tea sandwiches, three miniature desserts, and unlimited scones with devonshire cream, preserves and lemon curd, for each person. Traditional tea sandwiches and desserts are meant to be no more than two or three bites, each. All of our teas are loose leaf and since it is a never-ending teapot, you should have been able to determine the amount of tea that you enjoyed. We put a great deal of thought and effort into our tea trays; but we understand that the tea tray does not appeal to everyone, which is why we offer a full lunch menu for those guests that want a more substantial meal.
