Overview
Everything STOPS for tea in England where I was raised, it is an important daily ritual. We want you to experience that feeling in our tearoom.
We offer charming decor with soothing music, comfortable chairs and a relaxing atmostphere.
Here at The Silver Teapot we serve authentic English scones and the finest loose leaf teas properly steeped in the English tradition. These teas are available for purchase in our gift shop.
We cater to a party of one to a group of forty. Here are some suggestions for an "excuse" to have tea: girl time, tea for two, catching up with a friend/sister, girlfriend time, baby shower, bridal shower, red hat groups, mommy & me, womens ministries, church groups, corporate events, buisness lunch or anything else you can think of.
Our gift bou"tea"que offers a variety of teapots, cup & saucers and other tea related items as well as home and garden decor. We also carry a selection of British sweets and groceries.

Food: Just had tea today at this delightful tearoom in Manteca. It was my first trip but it will most definitely NOT be my last! The High Tea (which all 4 of our party enjoyed) was delightful. Sandwiches very nicely displayed and a wonderful variety. My friend and I had the Wedding Tea and it was very good. We had the front table by the window which was a wonderful location. Our server was wonderful and attentive. The gift shop had so many different tea items....I lost count on how many creative teapots were for sale...it was so fun browsing!!! How fortunate we are in the Central Valley to have such a gracious and delightful tearoom to have an afternoon respite in. Thank you! |

Food: Last night Marion and family hosted a special christmas tea for their customers which included English party favors, a group singing Christmas carols and to top it off Marion prepared an authentic English plum pudding. My wife and I along with our daughter and grandson had a great time. I hope they make this a yearly tradition. |

Food: Today was my 3rd trip to the Silver Teapot. I thoroughly enjoyed my first two visits and wanted to make sure I got others hooked on this lovely shop. Today I brought a group of 8 friends, many of whom have never been to a proper tea. Everyone loved the atmosphere and the vast choices of tea (yes, the pots were shared around the table as no one could pick a single favorite). By the time we left, plans were already being made as to when we would return. On top of the lovely food and tea, many in the group took home gifts for themselves and others. Keep up the good work! The world needs more restful places like the Silver Teapot. |

I love the choices of teas. There are so many to choose from. The relaxing atmosphere with soft music in the background is so nice. The owner, Marion, and husband Bill, daughter Heidi and granddaughter Charlene, treat us all like royalty. I also love their gift shop. I always walk away with something. Food: Having visited your tearoom several times, I mentioned it to a group of ladies at my gym. Three of the gals that visited you yesterday Marsha, Judy, and Rose from England, were so exited. They told me that they had such a wonderful time. Said everyone was so friendly and wonderful. They plan to go back real soon. They asked me to please thank you again for your hospitality. Marsha said she can't wait to bring her mother and sister. Once people are introduced to you at The Silver Teapot they become addicted. Food: The tea shop is decorated in a charming, soothing way. You really put your outside cares away when you step in and close the door behind you. A variety of tables, chair styles, and cups add to the feel of being in 'jolly old England' enjoying an afternoon 'cuppa' after a day of shopping. The staff is friendly and gracious and really from England! The tea food is traditional and varied. All of the tea is loose leaf. We love to come as often as possible. My entire family and all of my friends rush in to pick their favorite tea cup. Often fights ensue :) Boys and gentlemen love their tea too - and what better place to teach/practice manners with children of all ages! |

Food: As a lifelong tea affectionado, I appreciate The Silver Teapot's wide variety of unflavoured, highest quality, loose-leaf, black teas! Their tea selection of a is ever increasing too, making return trips such a delight! Also, I just can't say enough about their authentic British Scones! There are none that I have found to compare on this continent (and I make a hobby of taking tea everywhere I go, i.e., I just returned from afternoon tea at The Empress on Victoria Island, BC, Canada and their scones were very meager and plain in comparison). That The Silver Teapot owner and her daughter are British makes all the difference, both in the authentic, genteel ambiance and in the quality of their tea offerings! Their gift shop is just devine! Food: My friends and I stop by at least once a week to have tea and enjoy the serene atmosphere far away from the noise and foul language found in some local restaurants. We always feel welcome here. I prefer black tea and am quite happy with the ever growing list of black teas on the menu. I try to sample a new tea each time I visit and have found many new favorites. If you don't have time for the full tea - take my advice and order a pot of tea and a plate of desserts - yummy! |

I have enjoyed every experience with this tea room from smilling faces to properly set tables. The sandwiches are delicious and the scones are like none I have ever had. They are a delightfully tasty morsel direct from England. On a fast trip through town I find myself stopping for scones to take home when I don't have time to dine in. I recently had a surprise birthday tea and to my delight they made the experience even more wonderful with personalized birthday banners and decorated tables. Food: Very nice place, full of quaint touches. My sister and I really enjoyed our time together. The best parts were the linen napkins, cute rings, pretty teacups, nice gift shop selection, and amazing dessert tray. Areas for possible improvement were having to choose BETWEEN a parfait OR a scone (Shouldn't a scone always come with tea?), and the awkwardness of trying to sit at a cart for a table (no place to put your legs). The owners and their daughter were very nice and we would definitely return. |

Food: I had a lovely experience of afternoon tea while celebrating the birthday of a friend. As it was an extremely hot day, we were greeted immediately and brought a nice cold glass of ice water before we could even ask for one. I love a place that anticipates your needs. The selection and variety of teas was wonderful. I loved the scones with clotted cream and preserves and the freshly made sandwiches. I've had teas in England and in other parts of the world and I am happy to find an encellent tea room in our own backyard. Food: The wonderful people at this teahouse really know their stuff! I absolutely loved their delicious authentic scones, teas, and lemon curd! The staff was very friendly and had cheery smiles. I especially liked the layout of the teahouse, a beautiful picture window seating afforded glimpses of bustling shoppers and life outside while I was quietly, peacefully entertained inside. If one requires a more private atmosphere for a party there is a cozy nook behind lovely screens. It's absolutely charming in there. Food: I've had the pleasure of taking tea at many tea rooms. The Silver Tea Pot is among the best. The tea is loose leaf and served perfectly with plenty of refills. If you wish to relax at a great place and get your moneys worth this is it. If I could make only one suggestion. I would love the opportunity to have English Trifle added to the menu here. Beyond that the deserts are the best and the scones are original in taste, not made from biscuit mix with sugary glaze like some places do. Take it from me I would know an original English recipe. |

Food: It was my good fortune to visit on an afternoon when a family of three generations was there also. The youngest gentleman appeared to be about 4 years old and was delighted to be offered a choice of hats to wear. I was pleased to watch him pick the Top Hat and enjoy tea with his Mother and Grandmother and Grandfather. Other visits I have stopped by with a friend or two to share the experience of tea. I also enjoy sitting alone to sip my wonderful tea by the front window and catch up on some reading. Everything is spectacular, from the food, to presentation to service. I know I will go home feeling like a real princess and having been treated like royalty. |

I only have a small complaint and that is no tea cozies or tea pot warmers being from England I like my tea HOT also the clotted/Doven cream but again I have never been served the real thing in the USA but my 4 American friends did not know what the cream was any way.
