Excellent and appreciated all you did to make our Mother's and Daughters Teas extra special. You are the best and all of us know it. We have tried others but you have the best food, service, sweet southern charm and beautiful place. Many thanks to all of you.

This was in my top 5 of delicious dishes and the scones were the best I had ever had. I had the Afternoon Tea here and was amazed at how great everything was...would love to come back again and again!

Southern Belles is all a tea room is supposed to be and more. We enjoyed our girls day out and the food was outstanding. Susan took the time to see to every detail and to teach us about how to make loose leaf tea correctly and it was surperb! Thanks for all you do for us in Tampa and everyone!

Absolutely hands down the best tea anywhere! We love their Tearooom and had their own Strawberry Iced and hot Strawberry Tea. Perfection and now enjoying the tea at home. Their loose leaf tea is 30 percent less than a lot of places and wonderful.

Excellent Food! Beautiful setting and love the gift shop. Found many treasures after Christmas all on sale! The atmosphere is southern charm at its finest and service impeccable. Thanks for making our day one to remember and we all are looking forward to coming back soon.

This is one of the best all around Tea Rooms and Gift Stores that we have been too. And we go to a lot of them. Their Gift store is huge and has a treasure trove of just one of a kind gifts, Christmas, Christian and inspirational books,things to decorate your home with not to mention tea and tea accessories galore. Their Strawberry beats anyone's out there. The iced version is delicious although I love the hot tea and they have so many varieties. The staff is very knowledgeable and will go out of their way to make all things perfect. Susan even did a wonderful demonstration on how to brew a perfect pot of loose leaf tea. I can't wait to bring my group of ladies at church here and the scones and really everything was the best food we have ever had at a tearoom. Thanks for your attention to detail!

Excellent, excellent scones. Not just repeating what other have written but theirs are really the best. None compare and the strawberry scones are over the top. Now onto the tea room. I recently enjoyed an afternoon tea with friends and al enjoyed every bite and drink of their wonderful teas. Many teas were tried but I still love the house Brides Blend and Strawberry sweet tea for the iced tea! Enchanted tearoom and so unique in its quaint setting and sweet southern charm at its finest.

I have gone to probably every tea room in the Hillsborough County area, and also to some in Polk & Pinellas Counties, too. My daughters in law and I go annually for BD tea, and Christmas tea, and other times as we can. This is our favorite tea room, even though we visit others for a variety once in awhile. The owners are so nice and friendly, and will try their very best to please us, and we just love it here. And, the scones are the best of any!!! My daughter in law and I just went again today, and they never rushed us as we were the last folks there this afternoon, even though I'm sure they wanted to get home; but they let us stay and visit for 3 hrs. Would highly recommend this tea room.

The scones we took home that we ordered too were perfect for our friends who came over. You really have the best scones ever and I have been to a lot of tea rooms and sampled many scones. You should franchise your scones! Nothing compares anywhere. The holiday tea we took home too is so delicious on a cold morning. Finest tearoom around. The owners are warm and the service is impeccable. We had to wait a few minutes about a week ago because they were very busy but that is the price you pay when you go to the best. I could have browsed for an hour in the gift store anyway and found some treasures for my daughter! Rick and Susan, don't worry about it if someone has to wait sometime, although we have never waited long anytime we have been. Sometimes the most loving time of the year as Christmas brings out the rudest people and that is a shame! Having your delicious tea and visiting is one of the perks of coming to a peaceful and beautiful place as yours. There is absolutely no where else who has the quality of food that you have, variety of teas offered and I do mean that. Susan will brew any kind of tea that we ask for and offer more kinds! But the scones are the best! No one comes close. Merry Christmas and can't wait to come and shop the sales again.

Just a wonderful, elegant tearoom with exceptional service, warm southern hospitality and caring concern in all they do! Of course it was busy this past week but where is it not busy thi time of year. Shoppers including us were able to get the most beautiful Ballerina figurines in the cutest keepsake boxes and some Christmas piecs for several on my gift list and the boxes are a gift too! The prices were surperb. Made me feel better to come in there and see the peaceful atmosphere and sweet attitudes and did I say it was the best Afternoon Tea we ever had and we have been to all of them. Scones don't even compare to anyone elses. Thank you Rick and Susan and your sweet mother Betty too.

Merry Christmas Rick and Susan! We always have the most wonderful Tea Experience and you have always made our Bridal Teas, birthday teas, daughters teas and our church group teas perfect! We just wanted to write and thank you so much for this past tea time and can't describe how delicious and elegantly presented. Our Hot tea was delicious as always. The nutcracker suite and Christmas Spice tea was great as well as the brides blend, our favorite.

Wow! I overheard this woman today(previous post christina) and she was just plain rude and most everything we overheard was not true. This store and tearoom is delightful and just plain outstanding! Rick and Susan work so hard and provide the best overall tea and service in the Tampa Bay area and we had been shopping and saw that she did have to wait for the tables to be reset due to previous guests leaving late before we got there! This woman is definately over the top as we saw Susan working very hard to try to get her daughters food perfect while providing for many others. And for the record, we have had Afternoon Tea many times and they are very gracious to brew different teas many times for many customers. DO NOT GO TO THIS TEA ROOM. I have visted MANY Tea Room's in the Tampa/Plant City Area and this is by far the WORST tea room ever. This visit was for my daughters birthday and the owner showed an extreme lack of good customer service. Our reservation was for 2pm, we weren't seated until 2:17, tea was not presented at the table until 2:42, and the owner came out about 15 times to ask me about the special menu that I had requested for my daughter which we had previously discussed twice in detail before our visit. It seemed like they were not prepared for us at all! As for the tea we were offered a choice of only two teas, we never got our chance to eat anything because the owner felt the need to argue with me after I expressed my frustration about her asking the same questions over and over ... (more)and over!! She gave me excuse after excuse and even went so far as to tell me that she had spent alot of money trying to prepare our food and she still got it wrong. Everyone at our party was to have the regualr afternoon tea, the only thing that I requested was that my daughter's after noon tea contain NO nuts due to her allergy. The owners husband even came out and asked if the reason we had requested no nuts was because she just didn't like them or because she was allergic! I was totally mind blown considering HE is the one that prepares the food! We decided to leave when the owner became belligerent and disrespectful so much so that she followed me and my family including my 7 yr old and 3 yr old out to parking lot to argue with me and get in my face. I was so taken back and could not believe what was happening. I have NEVER had an experience like this at ANY of the MANY tea rooms that I visit. This owner will never earn my business and I suggest that you save your money and take it to Camilla Rose Tea Room in Plant City instead they were WONDERFUL!

Wanted to write to say how wonderful the Birthday Party recently was just perfect for our daughter! We appreciated all the time that was taken for our 7 yr old and her cousins and sisers. The birthday rhinestone crown was so beautiful and she thought she was a Princess! She loved the food. Her Strawberry tea was delicious and all of the adults loved the Christmas holiday spice tea. She cannot quit talking about how she loved the Santa Strawberry deserts. Thanks so much for the Birthday gift for her and the lovely candle cake. She has not been able to quit talking about her 'tea party'! All of us girls loved the food too and the quiche! Your food is the best and so reasonable considering the attention to detail and the 2 scones provided were the best we have ever had. I wouldn't mind driving from Tampa always now to experience the best. You were busy too! Didn't mind waiting as we loved shopping for christmas. Merry Christmas!

This is the best kept secret in the Tampa Bay area! We had the best time today having Tea! The food was just delicious, holiday hot tea was perfect and shopping sales and one of a kind gifts I bought were perfect. Bringing more to come to tea with me again. Love them.

THIS TEA ROOM IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE FOOD IS BETTER THAN MANY TEA SHOPS I HAVE BEEN TO. I WOULD RECCOMMEND THIS TEA ROOM.

I have been to this tea room several times and I am pleased everytime I go. The food is by far the best I have ever had at a tea room, and I have been to pretty much everyone in central Florida.

I love this place! We found it one year while my grandmother was in town. She wanted to take us all out for tea and so we tried this wonderful place. The owner, Susan, is very warm and friendly and does a fantastic job at serving. The tables are beautifully decorated with lovely teacups and saucers and other miscellaneous decorations. The food is wonderful! My favorite dessert would have to be the scones with the Devonshire cream that comes in a separate dish. They serve finger sandwiches that are perfect for pairing with tea, along with delectable desserts and more. They have many teas to choose from (my favorites are strawberry and blueberry) and she knows how to make it just right, whether hot or cold! You might also be able to find hats around the room to wear while you drink ... (more)your tea in a fancy manner.

Don't miss out on browsing the shop filled with Christmas collectables (including an entire room filled with a Christmas village that is beautifully put together), books, other trinkets and many more. I love this teahouse so much that I went back for my third time last year and invited my lady friends as well. I know I will be going back at least one more time as my boyfriend is willing to go with me (he actually volunteered to!).

Please give this place a try - you will NOT be disappointed!

Special moments spent by our friends here so many times. We love the food! The absolute best and the beautiful atmosphere. But most of all we love the service and the southern hospitality of the owners and staff. Hard to find that these days anywhere! They know what customer service is all about and love their gift store too. My favorite is their strawberry scones.

Absolutely the best tea room around in service, food, location and beautiful too. They are having a huge clearance sale on all of their Christmas and Collectibles...I bought a lot of villages from Dept 56 and now have a whole set. They are starting to run out of some of it. Owner said it will be until middle of September. Not sure of hours in august. Need to call for reservations but worth it!

Excellent Afternoon Tea with the group that we brought! The food was delicious, plentiful, beautiful and scones out of this world. Loved the Blueberry ones too and the tea was brewed perfectly. Will be returning as soon as possible.

It has been a while since I have been able to write on here but your Tea Room keeps getting better and better and your tea is the best. This Tea Room is one of the best I have ever been too. The cucumber sandwich was excellent, not tasteless like most! The chicken salad was great and they baked their own croissants! The raspberry fudge bar was so rich and good but the scones literally melt in your mouth. Loved all of the teas we tried. We will definately be back soon!

We wanted to write and thank you all for the exquiste Afternoon Tea Experience that was provided for all of us for our Mother Daughter Tea along with Grandmothers and Sisters! Everything was totally delicious, beautiful and well just perfect!

From the moment you enter through the double castle doors, the story of your Afternoon Tea Experience Begins with soft candles buring, beautiful lighting, hand carved staircase in the foyer! It is just so unique and wonderful. Tea Rooms in England are an eclectic mixture of an english decorating event! There will always be beautiful items sitting around and a cottage look. A lot of tea rooms scale a lot of that down, but then it tends to look more liked linen tablecloths with no enjoyment of the surroundings'!
The Tea was fabulous and perfectly brewed.

Service is impeccable!
