We offer both a Queen and Princess Afternoon Tea, that arrives elegantly presented on a three tier tray and includes our specialty, freshly baked scones and homemade Devonshire cream. Your choice of hot or ice tea services are all made with fresh, loose leaf teas, in more than 50 varieties imported from around the world. None of our Teas would be complete without our delicious, hand made, delicate finger sandwiches, specialty desserts, fresh fruit preserves and homemade lemon curd and of course, all freshly prepared in our licensed kitchen!
You will find our Extensive Full Service Gift Store, which includes collectibles, tea accessories, home decor items, Bridal, Inspirational Books and of course, Fine Tea by the ounce!
We would like to extend to you an invitation for tea and to browse our gift shop. Please join us for Afternoon Tea normally served Thursday-Saturday.... seatings at 11, 1 and 3 pm. Groups of 8 or more can reserve tea times on Tuesday-Saturday.
Reservations can be made for Birthday Parties, Bridal and Baby Showers or Just Because! Custom, Bridal Charm Cakes can be reserved for your beautiful Bridal Teas!

Dear Anne,Thanks so uch for your ideas! Goodness knows we can always use ideas and the best come from Tea Lovers! We have had an annual Candlelight Christmas Tea since we started and this year is our stores' 25th Anniversary! I am a bit behind on finalizing the date due to a very dangerous accident I was in (details below in response to Gwen!). The first Christmas Event is always the first Thursday Evening in December! It kicks off the Season with the Christmas Parade in Plant City the next evening on Friday. Please for anyone out there, send us an email as we are preselling our tickets now. They are limited and when we sell out, we will have a 2nd Evening as is our custom! Sorry for not posting event sooner. More details coming! This will be our Silver Anniversary and we are completing clearing all Christmas between now and the end of the year! There are a few limited Edition Collectibles not included, but the majority of Christmas Home Decor is being discounted and sold. We have been so busy and are very Thankful to all who have sent such glowing remarks about their visits to our Tea Room! We appreciate all of them and apologize that we have not been able to answer all of them, as I was injured in a serious accident while attending to a sick horse that we own. Everything was perfect from the tea to the food to the decor to the atmosphere but what really seta this tea room apart from others I have visited was the wonderful hostess Susan-Lynn and her lovely family. We read the review below and thought that these so called tea guests were probably from another tea room! The staff and owners are wonderful. We arrived about ten minutes before our tea time and shopped for a bit and were seated at our proper time. We didn't expect them to seat us early! Although I have been there before and came early to shop and they offered to seat us early. We have enough sense to know that sometimes we don't always get seated early or exactly on time. Visited your tearoom several times some five years back,but wasn't inclined to go back after all the new ones in the area opened. After recent reviews,my friends and went two weeks ago.Nothing has changed in our opinion. While the food is okay and rooms decorated in a style I like,they were all very hot.How do you eat a scone with your fingers?They fall apart.A fork would be nice.We had to wait over a half hour to be seated.Only one table of ladies were in the tearoom at the time.It would have been nice tohave been seated with a pot of tea till you had time to wiat on us.Hope you can get the work on ladies room done soon.It really needs it. |

Nancy,You know, reviews are a great tool for a tea room so they can improve their tea rooms, but sometimes, the spirit in which they are written are sometimes a bit suspicious. If you are the ladies I remember, #1, you arrived much earlier than your reservation, and although they may have only been one table of ladies @ that time, there are other groups before and after that you know not of that affect when we reserve your time. #2. I explained that the front room was warm and place you in the cooler room. We had a AC unit that was out and did not put you in that room. There are times when things do break and when you have9 ac units in a large tea room and store, you just can't help it sometimes. Especially in this extremely hot weather in the past 2-3 weeks. #3 I also explained to all the ladies who had been this past few weeks that we are having a sale and are clearing out several areas and expanding our bathroom and the one available, is temporary as we install a beautiful vanity this summer. If you had needed a fork, would have been glad to have given you one, but most of our guests, who by the way have been to many tea rooms and abroad, are quite happy to enjoy their afternoon tea with our dainty spoons and knives as most tea foods are finger type foods. As I said, when we are resetting up and preparing for a next large group of guests, sometimes we cannot seat a group early. I don't mind any suggestions, but this seems a bit mean spirited. We are glad you have visited other tea rooms in the area and hope you enjoy all your afternoon teas and hope to see you soon! God Bless. |

They are just hands down the best! The food is 10 times better, the service prompt and staff very warm and friendly. Food: Is there anyway to give them a Triple A+? No words can describe our wonderful experience as a family for our Tea Time for our Mother and Mother-In-Law. They were great to have tea time all month for Mothers and my husband and Dad had a great time too. Of course, my dad would have rather been on the golf course for 'tee-time'! He was a sport....and a bit surprised at how delicious and filling their food was too! It takes a real man to enjoy such a beautiful and 'ladies' oriented time for their mothers. The owners made us feel so comfortable and we enjoyed the time for visiting and drinking their delicious teas. They have their own blends and they were out of this world. It was very busy, but we never felt neglected nor was our tea cups ever empty! they are the epitome of Southern Charm! |

Food: I SHOPPED AROUND AND ENJOYED SEVERAL OF THE TEAROOMS IN THE AREA. I HAVE TO SAY THAT THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. WE WERE IN THE SHOP DURING AT TIME THAT THE OWNERS WERE UNDER GREAT PERSONAL STRESS, YET EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT DURING OUR TEA TIME. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH WAYS TO EXPRESS THE PLEASURE MY DAUGHTERS AND I HAD. WITH OUT A DOUBT THERE IS NOT ANY TEA THAT COMPARES WITH THE STRAWBERRY BLEND THEY SERVE ICED. IT IS WORTH THE EXTRA COST TO ADD IT TO YOUR HIGH TEA. WE FOUND THAT THE TRAY WAS FULL OF DELIGHTFUL SANDWICHES, SCONES FROM HEAVEN AND THE DESERTS WERE TO DIE FOR! Dear Ms Strength,What a wonderful description and review regarding the tea time you experienced with your daughters! We are very humbled that you chose us and enjoyed yourselves. Yes, it was a stressful time but my Son's surgery went smoothly and is doing well now! One thing I would like to address....the Bathroom! We are in the process of expanding our powder room into double the size as we redecorate and create another large tea area and a Little Princess Tea Cottage area on that side of our Cottage. We have a beautiful new sink vanity awaiting that and we have decorated our powder room so that it is presentable and clean, but not extra nice as we will be re-doing all of it. But, just to clarify something....we clean the floors in our bathrooms with a special cleaning machine and antiseptic and do not even have a 'bucket'in our tea room. We have a mop sink and a mop in our cleaning room next to the kitchen and keep the mop hung up between 'quick spills and general cleaning' in our kitchen. If we had a mp and a bucket, we would never leave it in the bathroom anyway! I am just wondering if maybe you got our bathroom mixed up with another tea rooms as you were enjoying several tea rooms. I did ask the other staff, my husband and mother and like I had said, we don't even have a mop bucket! I hope this helps, as we don't mind any suggestions on improvements as no one is perfect, but we do strive to maintain the best tea room as we can! Food: All of us just had the sweetest time enjoying tea in an Elegant place...many groups were having fun...we noticed men had came in with their mothers and wives too! This is just the most exquisite tea room. And we picked up some beautiful inspirital books for our Moms today along with beautiful seraphim angels too. Rick, Susan Lynn and staff were just so gracious and the service top notch with all of the people there too! Oh, and most of all the food is just the best and their own Brides Blend tea is just delicious too. What a wonderful memory and peaceful time with all of us girls and Mom. |

Food: This tearoom was one of the most exceptional establishments we have been too. We came from 3 different areas in the state and met and had such a wonderful visit. It was very so close to I-4 and we wanted to thank this teamap site for the ability to find the best tearooms. This Tea Room's food was just exquisite and the service and tea delicious. What a pleasure and what treasures they have for sale in their store. Couldn't have been any better! We also enjoyed all of the information on the history of Plant City and their claim to fame 'Strawberries'! Our deserts were great...their signature strawberry scone, puffed pastry hearts with fresh whipped cream and homemade strawberry preserves and the strawberry scone-cake tort....oh so delicious! |

Food: I was present for a tea a few days ago and all I can say is WOW! Everything was all you could ask for. Elegant, but not stuffy and quaint...after having a time in England...Southern Belles is very authenic and the food is the best I have had at any tearoom and I have to say the strawberry scones were out of this world!!! The staff and owners were just about te best host and hostess you could ask for. Very knowledgable about the whole tea and took the time to answer all of my questions and the custom strawberry blend tea was just surperb!!!!This should be number one and Plant City should be proud! Can't wait to come back with my daughter for Mother's Day!!! |

There is no comparison and the hospitality with elegance is indescribable! They are the epitome of Southern Hospitality with the most elegant flair, but not at all with any airs! Food: My mother and I hosted a bridal tea and luncheon here today and there are not enough words to describe how wonderful it was. This tearoom is the best, by far, I have ever been to...and I have been to many tearooms in Central Florida, as well as out of state. The owners went over and beyond in every way, especially when it came to hospitality. The tearoom decor was breathtaking. I have never seen anything like it - it was absolutely gorgeous and the pictures do not do it justice. The food was absolutely amazing. They have the best scones, neiman marcus bars, chicken salad, blueberry iced tea and so much more. Every bite of food was out of this world (and this is a true rarity to find)! Many, many thanks to Southern Belles Tearoom. I highly recommend this tearoom for anyone looking to socialize with close friends or host a party...it's perfectly sensational!!! This is truly Central Florida's best kept secret and thanks to TeaMap we discovered it! |

Food: Oh yes. this place is just magical! I felt like a Princess in a castle. Warm and enviting on a cold day with the most delicious food and tea one could imagine! Food: We have found a jewel and surprise in Plant City! Calling and going in to check it out while having afternoon tea was just exquisite! Planning a family wedding Shower.they were so helpful in helping us plan it and there was not one thing we could complain about....it was above the top. Every delicious bite...and believe me I am picky and their house blend tea is delicate, but very british! Also, the strawberry tea is the best around; it certainly is no comparison to no other around...it is their own blend and it is heavenly! God Bless and don't miss this experience. Food: My daughter and I gave her best friend a Bridal Tea and it was a wonderful experience. Everything was done and the food was delicious. The Bride felt like the Princess she is. The staff and the owners were more than gracious as they made everything top rate for us. The decorations were so elegant. I would refer anyone to this tearoom. After reading about all the madness at Walmart and other stores after Thanksgiving, we have all made up our minds to come here every year. This tearoom gets you in the mood and is so relaxing and the food is delicious too. Their store is very large and we found a lot of Christmas items on sale too. I found the most wonderful books for a lot of people on my Christmas list. Last year everyone loved everything I bought them here! We all had a good time and didn't have to fight crowds and scrooges everywhere else. The owners make this time with family special and do whatever is necessary to make our time special.
