I've eaten at Spring Creek quite a few times and have always enjoyed it. While I agree with Sammi that their tea selection could be better and the atmosphere is not as intimate as other tea rooms, I still enjoy the food and browsing through the antiques after lunch. I love their green salads with the strawberries and almonds in them. Another plus is all the veggies they put on your sandwich--even red pepper and cucumber. The strawberry soup is great, too, and if you get one of the combos (sandwich with soup or salad) the price is very reasonable and includes your beverage. You also get a lot of food for the money. Be sure to get there early if you want to get dessert--they go fast!

I've eaten here many times. The food is the best that I've found in any Tea Room I've visited. I tried a new one yesterday and was so disappointed. Again, I give you a thumbs up.

As a real man, I enjoy this place, dadgum it. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is ecclectic. I have eaten four pieces of the almond joy cake at one visit. The tea makes me shiver

a great variety of 'hot' teas and excellent coffees. it is always a difficult decision to choose which dessert we want to try or have again. the sandwiches are great--always fresh--as are the soups and salads. my daughter and i have been many times and have invited many friends and family for their first visits, making them become regulars as well. make a note, real men eat her too.

I visited this tea room for the first time a few weeks ago and was so disapointed. I have heard so many raves about it but I found the entire experience lacking. Their tea menu is extremely limited and I really don't feel that they should be allowed to call themselves a tea room. Also, they only serve one type of iced tea a day, and it is extremely watered down. The food wasn't bad, just not worth everyone gushing over it. I had the chicken salad sandwich and strawberry soup and it was perfectly good, but not the best in the area, by any means. I found the place to have a brightly lit and bustling atmosphere, which isn't really my cup of tea. I go to tea rooms to relax and visit with friends at a cozy little table, not to sit in the middle of a stark white room surrounded by too many peopl... (more)e. I visit tea rooms on a weekly basis, all around the area, and this one is at the bottom of my list. Wanting to give this renowned tea room a 2nd chance, I visited it again last week and had the same sort of experience, horrible tea and average food. All-in-all, Spring Creek is a perfectly acceptable establishment, just not worth all the praise it receives, in my honest opinion.

Consistantly great food and service. Desserts look delicious and taste even better. Their fresh brewed tea is wonderful. If you haven't tried it, your missing out.
