Strawberries and Daydreams

Had an awesome time!

My daughter and two granddaughters and I, along with two of their friends and mom first experienced the tearoom on Friday, Feb 24, 12. When making the reservation Regina promised me that having a late tea, would be no problem. She said that we would not leave hungry. She lived up to her promise and more. The girls were so delighted with the hats and gloves and enjoying having a 'real tea.' The adults were amazed! We were so full when we left, no one felt deprived. From the scones to the cake, was an adventure in eating. There were many ideas we 'borrowed' to try at home.

We will definitely be back to enjoy the springtime at Strawberries and Dreams.

Regina offers a huge,delicious, home-cooked meal with freshly brewed, flavorful tea at an extremely reasonable price. The tea room is comfortable, feminine and decorated seasonally with a variety of antique and unique china. I have happily celebrated a number of occasions there including birthdays, wedding and baby showers and special lunches with family and friends. Try it!

Had a great lunch at the Tea Room. Didn't have high tea so I couldn't say that there were a variety of teas offered. Regina's scones and quiche were excellent!

What a unique little tea room! Regina greeted us immediately, as her kitchen area - toaster oven, dorm size refrigerator,and sink are situated along one wall of the tea room. She quickly made introductions of her guests at all the tables. The storefront room is decorated in her strawberry theme, she even used green paper napkins to offset the red strawberry theme. She quickly poored iced roobis, her tea choice of the day. Our glasses were kept filled with tea, as well as ice. She even ran to a friends down the street to get more ice. Our tea was served in courses, the first being drop scones with mock devonshire cream. They were a bit over baked in her toaster oven, as she is very friendly, sharing tales about her family. She will keep you entertained throughout your visit. Next ... (more)was a fruit salad of fresh peaches and muskmelon served on lettuce leaves. She warmed a quiche in her toaster oven and served it warm as our next course. It seemed she must do the cooking in her home and then transport it to her tea room. She ran home during our quiche course to get a mousse she had forgotten for our dessert.

Regina makes the most of her very small tearoom. The restroom is so small it doesn't have space for a sink. She compensates with a dispenser of hand sanitizer on the wall.

We were only served the roobis, but she must take requests if you make them with your reservation. She said her tea is made from tea bags she purchases at her local grocery. She usually serves Lipton tea bags and her tea ladies even request it.

Her walls held several racks of tea items that she offers for sale.

The tearoom was a destination for a ladies' road trip from Columbus. The food was very good and inexpensive, the atmosphere was quaint and Regina's hospitality was outstanding. We plan to return!

Had a wonderful time with my friends at the Tea Room today. The food was delious. Regina was a delightful hostess.

I am from Pittsburgh and had a wonderful time with my Mom and Sister in law who are from the area. Located in a lovely downtown area, I look forward to my next visit!! The food is delicious!!

My husband found Strawberries & Daydreams while we were attending an event in Miamisburg. What a great find it was!

I have visited Strawberries & Daydreams many times and each visit has been delightful.

Regina, the owner and hostess, is a sweet, 'Southern Hospitality' kind of lady. Her food is really yummy. Both her luncheon teas and dinner teas are equally delicious. The portions are large and served on decorative dishes set on tables draped with pretty cloths.

The tearoom has both a charming and whimsical atmosphere. A visit to Strawberries & Daydreams is like stepping into a little Southern tearoom, without having to drive all the way to Georgia or Alabama.

Visit once and you will be planning your return trip before you leave. The price is low and the enjoyment is high.
