Food: I always enjoy a visit to the Strawberry Tea Room and Virginia does not disappoint! This week, I took my niece and grandniece visiting from Ohio and they loved it! Of course, we have the full afternoon tea and all the trimmings. Always be sure to make reservations as they tend to fill up and everything is homemade! If you don't make a reservation you set yourself up for maybe not getting a table or not getting the homemade goodies you'd like best! By all means, make reservations and go and enjoy this treat. |

Food: I wish I could comment on the food or tea - we arrived on a Saturday at 2:00. The sign outside says it is open until 3:30 mon-sat. However, the door was locked with a sign in the window saying 'closed.' While sitting outside picking a new plan the owner (who it appears lives there) drove up and looked at us waiting for us to explain why we were there. I asked if they were open today and she looked at me oddly and curtly said 'no mam' and walked inside without an explaination. Very frustrating when I had just driven an hour to meet my boyfriend halfway from where he lives in hopes of a nice afternoon.... |

Food: My husband took me for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and everything was divine. He had the chicken salad croissant sandwich, and I ordered the full afternoon tea that came with a big piece of warm ham & cheese quiche. We shared the 3-tiered tray filled with mini sandwiches, scrumptious desserts, and fresh-baked scones with cream. The pot of tea hit the spot. The Strawberry Tea Room is 40 minutes away from our house but well worth the drive. We will definitely be back. |

Food: My friends and I had a lovely lunch and the strawberry cake and chicken salad was excellant. The owner was very nice too. |
