The ladies from the Montrose Museum we had a great time tasting the different sandwiches, fruit and scones. The teas was a total different experience, colors, aroma's and taste that was great. The staff was excellent explaining each as we picked new teas to taste. Loved the different styles and types of tea cups and tea pots. Loved the of hats. Several of the ladies said they would be back with other friends.

I have been here many times over the past 2+ years, and have loved it each time. I take family and friends, teas lovers or not- even my husband and then-15-yo son. Everyone has loved their experience here as well. And we have a wonderful variety of tea at home, for the times in between visits. I can't say enough good things about the food (especially the Trio salad), the charm, and most of all, the unlimited pot of tea with as many varieties as one can drink. As if that isn't enough, I have NEVER been rushed while dining here- a truly unique experience.

We came here after a stressful morning of shopping and we had a wonderful relaxing experience. The variety and delicious flavor of the teas was Great! The soups were also very good! I didn't feel that good when I came in but when I left I felt so relaxed! I don't live in Michigan, but when I am here again I definitely will return!!!!

I have been going here since it opened and it just gets better and better. We love to go to the special event teas as well! If you try this place, you will want to return the next day. The scones, cream and lemon curd, soups, quiche, chicken turnover, and mint brownies are my favorites.

This is my all time favorite spot to meet with friends and family. Looking for somewhere to go that is a little different, food that is healthy, a variety of teas to meet anyones prefrences, AND prices that are so affordable you can go there without guilt! Make sure you order the unlimited pot - try several teas with your meal!! Check it out - and don't forget to put on a hat and get into the mood!!! Lots of fun!!!

This is the second time I have been here and have enjoyed it both times and will definately go again. It's a great experience, even if you are not a tea drinker. I love the fact that you can have an endless pot of tea and try all different kinds. I hope they stay in business a long time! Keep up the good work and the wait staff has always been cheerful and helpful.

Amazing is the only word to describe the 'Tea Experience' at Sue & Esther's American Tea Room. The atmosphere is charming, but not 'stuffy'. Wait staff know the answer to every question, and are knowledgeable with everything they serve. My only disapointment is that I only live 6 miles away, and just recently found this wonderful place. A must destination!!!!

As a complete newbie to tea they took the time to answer all my (what I am sure were stupid) questions. I would easily make the 2 hour drive to go back when I need more!

This is a great tea room to visit. It is off the main tourist section but well worth the visit. The tea selection is quite extensive. The server was very friendly and didn't mind that my mother and I tried 6 different teas. We were even able to buy the loose leaf tea that we tried. We did not feel rushed and it was a welcome break.

Best little tea shop every!!! Love going with my girls and family. Wonderful place to take friends even if they don't like tea. Great place to get wonderful teas and tea accessories. Atmosphere is so cozy and the ladies very easy to talk with and very knowledgeable about their teas. Great selection of tasty foods. Something for everyone. It is a great place to stop and relaxe with friends!!!

In a city otherwise noted for it's chicken dinners, Sue & Esther's is a pleasant find. Comfortable and cheery atmosphere, like a friend's dining room. Two of us chose the light tea, one the quiche. Everything was delicious, but especially desserts! We also purchased packaged teas so we could try additional varieties at home.

One of my friends kept telling me about this exciting tearoom. I finally made the trip with her and I can see why she invited me. We both had the endless teas and I had 3 different varieties, ended up loving 2 out of the 3. I had the cranberry chicken wrap sandwich with salad and the strawberry pie for dessert. I let full, and I am ready for a second trip. Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff and good food at a reasonable price.

Had a great time on our first visit. The youngin's (ages 14) loved it too. My daughter and I loved the cream of spinach soup. The portion size of the wrap sandwiches are great. 2 of us got the full 'tea' experience for 14.95 each. We ended up being full, even though we didn't think we would. Would say the amount of fruit though is very scant (1 strawberry each and about 6 grapes each). Would have liked more fruit. Everyone loved the option of getting as much/many teas as we wanted. We will definitely visit again.

My daughter and I over a year ago found this tea shop. We just LOVE it!!
I have been back numerous times with my family.
I have taken most of my grandchildren on their birthdays as it is such a special place.
My granddaughters love trying on the hats and finally deciding on one only to try another. The atmosphere is grand. The tea is superb. Their food is so delicious and such a variety for a family owned tea shop. We just love it.
I tell everyone about this place as it is so special and I would like to see it stay open for years to come.
Keep up the great work ladies.
If you love tea this is a must visit place!
God's Blessings

Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Enjoyed talking with the owner about tea. Tucked away from the bustle of Main Street, a true tea afficiando will enjoy the respite this tea room offers. Soup & teas were served piping hot. Loved the 'endless' pot of tea as we were able to try 3 varieties (we could have had more, but we would have 'floated' out of the place! I particularly enjoyed being served tea instead of making it myself this month at home. Best of luck and I hope to return when we are visit Frankenmuth again.

We have a meeting every month at this tea house! We love it, they're just down the road from my store and we are forever doing take outs! They have wonderful teas, and the food is a healthy alternative to fried chicken in Frankenmuth! =)Keep it up guys!!
