Variety: All these reviews must be by people that work for her or are related because I have tried to visit and its never open! But looking through the windows it looks like a flea market. |

Variety: I love the Sugar Plum! I am a regular since they have opened! The food is by far the best in town when it comes to freshness and good quality. I have tried everything on the menu and it is all great! The staff is always pleasant as well. I am a heavy tea drinker and they are the only store who offers Harney and Sons (my personal favorite). The atmosphere is very inviting. The tables surroundings are decorated so cute! This is a kid friendly place too. The little girls have tea parties and have their Dr. Pepper in a tea pot while they play dress up! I have been with my friends for a 'High Tea' and a lunch with my husband, who loves the food as well. ***As for the comment about the bus tours, this has never happened while I was there. The owner is very welcoming to all who enter her Tea Room. The elderly and middle aged crowd are her target market and are a lot of her business. She treats them very well. |

Variety: Just had lunch at Sugarplum today and it was Amazing to say the least! Great food, excellent staff, clean facilities. I enjoyed a pot of chocolate mint loose leaf tea with the most incredible chicken salad I have ever had! Cute store with lots of antiques and gift ideas! And this might sound silly but the restroom was absolutely adorable, gave me a great idea for a house I'm remodeling! The owner even came out to greet us and welcome us into town! My husband and I are always looking for great finds now that we are retired and it looks as if we have found one! |

Variety: Tea any time at the Sugarplum. I stop in often, the (whole leaf)tea is served in a pot on a stand with a candle to keep the tea warm. The food is top notch, the atmosphere is fun and very girlie with hats, purses and lots of antiques to admire or purchase. Presentation of food and drink is always on vintage cups, saucers and plates. Service is prompt and cheerful. Food is prepared (not pre-prepard and not 'fastfood') and worth a short wait. Put this stop on your list of 'Must Visits.' Treasures like the Sugarplum are hard to find. |
