Food: On a recent trip to North Carolina, my sister and I had afternoon tea at Suzanne's Tea Room. In the interest of good manners, I did not lick the plate after the meal. However, I must say the presentation was elegant, the service was cordial, and the product was exceptional I would certainly return to Suzanne's Tea Room. |

Food: My sister and I just returned from having a wonderful tea at Suzanne's Tea Room. Everything was perfect...the atmosphere, the service, the food! We had the 'afternoon tea' and it was just the right amount of food. I can not recommend this place highly enough! |

Food: Suzanne's is a top-quality tearoom with very friendly, efficient servers. The ambience is soothing and calm, with touches of Victorian whimsy. Gentle music plays in the background. Kathy Allison, the owner and chef, always comes out to say hello and make sure customers are happy with their selections. The food is consistently excellent, with just-the-right-size portions that are beautifully plated. Prices are reasonable. There's a wide variety of loose-leaf teas ranging from the light and fruity to the darker and more robust. Many of these are available in the decaffeinated version.
