This tea room is one of the best. I visit monthly and have never been disappointed. Loose leaf tea is properly prepared and served in bottomless teapots. Scones with traditional toppings - mock devonshire cream, strawberry jam and made in house lemon curd are the first course. A traditional three tiered server arrives next with your tea goodies. Pots of tea are endless, try as many different kinds as you like. You will never feel rushed at this tea room. Reservations are required for tea. A small lunch menu is also available without reservations. Two rooms are available, one being smaller and perfect for private functions. Very nice gift shop with jewelry and accessories, baby items, kitchen and tea things. The University of Findlay offers the Mazza Museum - artwork from children's books.

This is one of the best tearooms I have been, too. The Vanilla Chai is delicious. Wish I could borrow the recipe for scones - wow! While you are in Findlay also check out the local Dietzch's Ice Cream.

Lunch was very tasty. Everything on the tiers for proper tea was made from scratch. Each month they change their menu. On the top tier, there are always 3 deserts. In the middle, there is a quiche and 2 tea sandwiches. On the bottom there is always a muffin, fruit, and another item (this month is was spinach spread on pita). Their selection of teas was very good. Some of my favorites are French Creme Brulee (a black tea that tastes like caramel), Summer Breeze (a green tea that tastes like strawberries), and Carrot Cake (a new roobious tea they had just gotten in recently and were offering as part of the selection). The service was also very good!

Swan House is one of my favorite tea rooms. The tea is properly prepared, the food is delicious, and the service is excellent.
