Everyone raved over the adorable baby rattle cupcakes that were made escpecially for this occasion. The superior service given by entire staff made my daughter's baby shower a memorable event. |

Food: My friend and I visited for the second time on 18 July; we found the atmosphere to be very quaint, even the bathroom was dressed up. The service was exceptional, the hostess was very attentive and friendly. We began with a blueberry scone with lemon drizzle; the scone was served warm and was good, but perhaps a little too lemony for me and my friend. Next was a petite salad that was excellent; my personal favorite. Next, sandwiches, fruit and sweets. Sandwiches included a quiche, a turkey rollup, egg salad on a corn muffin and tuna with pear and mint on flat bread. The sandwiches were good, but they may have tried too hard in the innovation department. Food: I have participated in tea at this particular tea room monthly since its opening June 2008. Each month the menu changes and the new offerings are a wonderful blend of traditional and innovatively modern. Recently a salad with homemade dressing was added for those who are more health conscious, as well as a 'tea to go' - hot or cold lunch (quiche or salad, with fruit and hot or cold tea) for those on the run or unable to leave the office. The tearoom offers a wide selection of loose, fresh brewed teas. When I asked for a variety not on their menu, the owners ordered some for the shop - service above and beyond expectation. Food: I highly recommend this tearoom to anyone that wants a relaxing, fun, enjoyable time. My daughter and I visit regularly. We are greeted by one of the owners, Lisa, and treated special from the moment we walk in the door. The tea room has a beautiful victorian atmosphere. Robyn, the other owner,creates the most delicious food! My mom swears the scones are better than any she's had in England! The tea sandwiches and desserts are unsurpassed! They have a large selection of teas. We especially love the Buccaneer- a blend of rooibos, chocolate and coconut (I believe!) They have made birthday celebrations and just regular visits so memorable. We have taken friends and family members and everyone just raves about the tearoom. They even offer wonderful gift items at a reasonable cost. This is our favorite tearoom of any we have visited. |

Food: Sweet Simplici-tea is a wonderful tea house located in Sykesville. They offer 16 teas daily on the menu as well as a tea of the month. The finger foods and fruit trays are awesome. The sconces are baked fresh daily and are out of this world. Robyn and Lisa go out of their way to please every customer. I have had Sweet Simplici-Tea cater several meetings at our offices and would highly recommend this teahouse. |
