I went to the tea room with a co worker last year and was so awed that I had to come back. The food was so delicious that even though I wasn't hungry I got the same thing I had for lunch, to go. The ambiance in the place automatically takes you away from where you actually are. I didn't remember that I was in Athens til I stepped out the door.

The owner serves up a very good cup of tea. My husband and I stopped in for a slice of some of her DELICIOUS home make cakes and a cup a tea. It is a sweet little tea room.

My husband and I just moved to the Athens, AL, area, so one afternoon we dropped by Sweetest Thing Tea Room for lunch and a cup of hot tea. The service was great, and the food was delicious. We intend to go back again very soon.

My husband and I had lunch at this tearoom while we were traveling through AL. It was a wonderful experience, even for the hubby. Food was great and the service was outstanding. The staff were so friendly and made us feel so very special.
