Variety:     Artistry:     Service:     Food: Our little shop just closed (for now at least), and I came across this site just doing a random teahouse search. Then I noticed the revue from SFagan on 2/17 was about me! So, I had to chime in! I remember you, and that day. I wasn't new, I pulled out the recipe to make SURE I had the proportions right and everything, since no one had ordered that drink since summertime. I wasn't annoyed by your reaction, I just felt bad that you didn't like it, even though I had made it the way we were told to. I was probably also automatically worried that I would get in trouble from years of working in the corporate restaurant industry where waitstaff is chastized for 're-do's! Haha...anyway, the second time I made that drink, I used double the chocolate. I'm sorry you still didn't like it. I'v... (more)e had other customers say that they expected something different from that particular drink. And I do apologize if I didn't verbally thank you for the tip. I took a lot of pride in everything I made for everyone while I worked there, and loved making people happy with tea. I was probably just embarassed at that point. I'd say to come back in for a drink on me, but, we're not there anymore. :(

Variety:     Artistry:     Service:     Food: Came across this tea shop in my travels through the East Village today. I was drawn in by the cute signage -- pretty, pink and welcoming on the outside. The experience inside was not as pleasant. Rude, arrogant service combined with a confusing store layout. I will not return.

Variety:     Artistry:     Service:     Food: Their teas have always been amazing. But this particular day I went in to order an 'iced chocolate'. The girl seemed new and pulled out a recipe to make it. What I received was an extremely watered down iced chocolate milk. When I told her she seemed annoyed, but did say she would redo it. The next one was still very watered down. I paid, left a tip (and was not thanked at all) left, and promptly threw it away. Just something they might want to look into especially since it was $6!

Variety:     Artistry:     Service:     Food: My colleague and I made it just in time to purchase a cup of tea to drink outside since the store is closed for the evening. A very interesting small tea store.
