What a disappointment. We took our grand daughters to tea yesterday to celebrate two birthdays and though the staff was pleasant, the food was terrible. Plus they charged extra for the tea for each of us... not mentioned on the menu or website. We had two different types of tea sets, but the food was terrible on both of them.

The food was not interesting or tasty, the 'scones' were not fresh or flavored at all. They were dry. They said they provide devonshire cream and jam or lemon curd... tiny amount of what must have been the cream (the girls thought it was butter), but nothing else-no jam or lemon curd. The assorted sweets were an odd assortment of cookies, probly from a package, not cooked fresh. The 'savories' were mostly not edible. Our little girls didn't know what to expect and they said they had a good time. But they hardly ate any of the food and when children won't eat cookies and sweets? We will find a new place for our next time.

Without doubt the worst tea rooms I have EVER been to!! RUDE – OVER PRICED – HORRID SERVICE AND GOT ORDER WRONG We were kept waiting 20mins before our order was taken, then another 10mins to get it which turned out to be wrong anyway. The scones were cakes, the soup was basically salt flavor and our bill was $5 over charged. Across the room a couple had a baby who was doing what babies do - a little fussing - nothing to worry about but the server was so rude to the couple. DO NOT GO HERE!! I think you would be more happy getting a quick coffee from MC D's down the road!!
