I had lunch there last week with several friends and we really enjoyed it. The chicken salad is delicious! We all want the recipe.

WOW! I had lunch at Tara's today and I was incredibly impressed. The food and service were both excellent and the atmosphere is perfect! I would highly recommend the chicken quiche and the frozen fruit. They were both excellent and the creme brulee for dessert was the best I have ever had. I will definitely be back!

This is a great place for lunch or afternoon tea. I go by myself to get away from all the stress of work and the like. The food is terrific! The people are wonderful! The atmosphere takes you back to another time! Even Scarlett would have stopped in for 'Tea'! The Basil Tomato Soup is the best I have ever had----Great taste! The choice of teas are really above measure, and the pimento cheese is one of the best around, says my husband. The desserts are excellent and varied. Tara greets each of her guests and makes them feel at home. You certainly don't want to miss this treat on your next trip to Milledgeville! Or like me, your next spare hour.

Tara's Tea Thyme is a refreshing stop for lunch or for afternoon tea and scones. Her service is personal and prompt and the atmosphere is charming, situated in the heart of downtown Milledgeville. I've tasted several things on the menu and it was all delicious!

Tara Tea Thyme is a unique place and brings back all the charm of the Old South. The service is always quick. And Tara makes a point to greet each one of her guest bringing a very personal feel to the place that is lacking in so many other places. The food is heavenly and Tara has a large variety of teas to choose from. This is a must-stop kind of place for anyone traveling through South Georgia!

Tara's Tea Thyme is just what the charming antebellum town of Milledgeville needs! Set in a beautifully restored Victorian home, the warm and inviting atmosphere lends itself to a wide variety of delicious tea like hot Milledgeville Mango and iced fruit tea as well as tasty treats like croissant sandwiches, strawberry scones, and crème brulee. The service made me feel right at home and it was obvious that four generations of friendly southern women were working together to enhance my wonderful experience.

As soon as we walked into Tara's Tea Thyme, we instantly felt at home. Tara greeted us at the door and brought us to our table. The teas and food were excellent! While we were waiting for our food, (which was not long at all), Tara even brought out a couple of extra-fresh scones from the kitchen--they were delicious!!!
You can tell that she is very concerned with making her guests happy, and I predict her new Tea Room will be a success (it already is in my book!)!!!
