Tea & Tranquility

What a pleasure!! The decor is delightful, but the food is really the big star! The scones were amazing; the quiche and soup were delicious,too! I had a wonderful chocolate toffe tea and there were many, many other options. We went as a special treat for our Mom's birthday and we just loved it!

We attended a themed event, and it was wonderful. Only 3 teas were presented, but special requests accepted if needed. The actress was just wonderful and it was nice to sit and meet others. Their scones are warm and delicious! Tea sandwiches were just as yummy. The gals there are gracious hostesses and make you feel as welcome as can be!

Sister and I had the pleasure of having afternoon tea at this delightful tearoom. We were offered soup or salad and the tea sandwiches were fresh and delicious. The scones 'excellent'. Once inside this tearoom the atmosphere was wonderful and very relaxing. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

The presentation of our Afternoon Tea sandwiches were delightful besides being fresh and delicious. We felt right at home with the quiet music, charming atmosphere and friendly owners/hostess--we will be back for another memorable lunch.

First visit. Lovely! The room was a bit small, but roomy enough for small parties. The food was plated with flowers and the afternoon tea just delicious (the scones!!!!) Wonderful tea selection and the ladies/owners were just polite, cheerful and very attentive. Will be back!

I brought my church Handbell Choir here to end our season on June 3, 2011. We all felt that this was one of the most delightful dining experiences we've ever had! The food was beautifully presented and fresh; the scones were THE MOST light and crisp ever encountered, and the table settings and decor appealingly feminine and pretty! We would be proud to bring family, friends or guests here at anytime in the future! Along with the lovely ambiance, our servers and hostess couldn't have been more gracious with soothing and warm personalities! This tearoom was a total 'people pleaser' in every way!

What a wonderful little tearoom! My girlfriends and I go here as often as possible. Run by a charming mother and daughter team, the food is incredible, the atmosphere refined, peaceful and tranquil. Peggy and Sharyn are very attentive and really make your time there feel special. And I must say, after visiting multiple tearooms around New Jersey (including the top rated ones), as well as in England, the scones here are by far superior! Wonderful, wonderful!

there were 8 of today for the tradional tea. we had made reservations and peggy was well prepared for us. the service & variety of food was top-notch highly recommend this palce

A Grand Afternoon Tea at Tea and Tranquality is just a wonderful, relaxing and tasty experience. Both owner/hostesses were delightfully accommodating and eager to please and answer any questions. Surrounding were simple, list of teas was extensive, and price was more than reasonable.
